Stayed with teammates for two nights, the room was large, there was a sofa 🛋 facing the window, outside was full of rice fields (have been cut) and bamboo forests, the view was very good. The guesthouse is right above the bus stop. The owner came down to help with our luggage; he was very welcoming. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Best of all, there was a terrace with a direct view of the Drum Tower. The wooden structure of the building was very unique. Pets are allowed; we brought a 50-pound Golden Retriever, and neither the owner nor the guests minded—it was wonderful! Also, the outdoor unit of the air conditioner was too close to the room. It was also noisy...not the pastoral night I imagined.

The most annoying thing is the breakfast the next day. The hotel informed the meal time is 07：30-10：00. I arrived at the restaurant at 09:00. There should be not many varieties of dishes, but the key is that there are almost no. The restaurant service staff obviously can't keep up with the guests who dine. The guests come one after another, there is nothing to eat, Several guests kept urging the kitchen to serve, although the restaurant agreed, but the speed of serving was obviously insufficient, the guests did their own fried eggs, I have photos as proof! It is not in any way to discredit the hotel, and I pay a lot of room charges as a guest! But the service that should be enjoyed has not kept up! This experience is too bad, greatly reducing the impression of Huiyue Hotel and even Lijiang! It is the worst early experience of my Spring Festival trip so far. The hotel is essentially a budget hotel, and at around 200 yuan during the Dragon Boat Festival in Rongjiang, the price felt a bit high. Advantages: Basic hygiene was met. Bottled water in the lobby was practically unlimited. The restaurant service was quite attentive; we didn't have time for breakfast, and the staff packed us some steamed buns, dumplings, and pastries. It's about a kilometer from the village's sports field, which is quite close. Disadvantages: 1. The glass partition between the bathroom and bedroom was poorly designed; the upper part was transparent, and there was no curtain. When someone was in the bathroom, the direct light shone into the bed, affecting sleep. 2. The facilities were somewhat old; the toilet seat was wobbly. 3. There are many farmhouses nearby, and the roosters crowing around from 5 am onwards made it difficult for me to fall back asleep… a somewhat unexpected annoyance.
