It’s very hot everywhere in the summer vacation. I decided to come to this mysterious Dongzhai to experience it before seeing 5 ha. I chose this store in Yuanshi B&B among the many accommodations. The homestay is located in the stockade, and the surrounding environment is beautiful and quiet. Surrounded by green mountains and green waters, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, it is like a paradise. There is also a clock tower that looks even very long. Room features - wood charm: As soon as I stepped into the room, I was surrounded by the strong woody atmosphere. The main structure of the room is almost entirely made of wood, from floor to ceiling, from bed frame to table and chair, and every detail shows the natural texture and warmth of the wood. This unique design not only gives the room a simple and elegant atmosphere, but also makes people feel close to nature. Quality of service: The owner of the homestay is still more enthusiastic and should be the aboriginal people here. They always greet every guest with a warm smile, which makes people feel particularly kind. From the patient communication before check-in, to the meticulous introduction at check-in, and the response at any time during the stay, it is not bad. Cost-effective: Considering the quality service, unique room design and reasonable price, the price is very high. In general, the wooden rooms of this homestay are very distinctive, the facilities are perfect, the owner is very simple and welcoming, and the environment is very beautiful.

On our return the next day, we encountered a minor power outage. While we were in the lobby, the front desk brought us ice water. When checking out, we left something in our room, and during the few minutes we went up to retrieve it, they offered us tea! These small gestures made us feel right at home. I rarely write such lengthy reviews for hotels, but this one truly impressed me. I felt I had to write more to express my appreciation for their service and quality. 😂

I saw online reviews of Dali Dong Village, a Dong village with a rich ethnic charm. My friends from out of town were traveling there and chose the Dong village over the Miao and Dong villages. Zhaoxing Dong Village looked more commercialized than Dali, and I didn't like the overly commercialized scene, so I took a bus there. After getting off the high-speed train, I took a taxi to the entrance of Dali Dong Village and took the scenic shuttle bus. After grabbing our large suitcases, the village roads were narrow, so the shuttle wouldn't go in. I called the owner to help with our luggage, and we waited with great anticipation. The owner arrived shortly after, followed by a small dog. It felt like visiting a relative. The online reviews all mentioned Inoue-mi Hotel, but once we arrived at the village, we wanted to explore the area and didn't want to stay in a hotel. There was no point staying at Inoue-mi (since the stay at Inoue-mi includes a singing bowl experience and a Yao bath). I personally didn't think it was worth it. Of course, the type of accommodation depends on your travel goals. The owner led the way, and after a few steps, we were greeted by rice fields. It was indeed a B&B nestled in the paddy fields. We arrived but hadn't packed yet, so we left our luggage with the owner and went out to play. We returned that afternoon and checked into the room. The aroma of wood filled the room. Since I renovated it myself, I was very environmentally conscious. The owner hadn't painted the sauna panels, which is great for the environment because they're formaldehyde-free. However, it's more difficult to maintain, so it requires care. The owner also forbids smoking indoors, which is a great bonus; a wooden house shouldn't be a fire hazard. The white sheets, the blue clouds, the lush scenery, I couldn't help but lie down on the bed against the wall, watching the blue sky and white clouds pass by, and my heart instantly calmed. The room was clean and tidy. Although the hot water was slow to come on because it was on the third floor, the other advantages made me overlook this shortcoming, which I think is completely understandable. The value for money is really great! 👍 The house is located at the edge, which perfectly met my needs: quiet and not noisy, but just a short walk to the bustling area. It's also the only B&B in the village with a view of the rice paddies. The owner is so kind, the price is so reasonable, and the environment is so clean that I couldn't help but write this review for the first time. I will definitely stay here again next time I come.

From Shanghai to Lijiang for a weekend, I chose Huiyue. It feels really a great choice. The front desk service is super good and super enthusiastic. There were not many people when I checked in, and I upgraded. I wanted to go out and play. They kept giving plans and directions. The hardware is also very good, the bathroom and bathroom are separated, the quality of the spare parts is excellent, the usb socket, the small smart home, is not one of the best in the price I have ever lived in. A bowl of powder for breakfast is also very comfortable. It is very close to the village and the main street, and behind various xx bureaus, it is very reassuring. In short, Lijiang is super fun, Huiyue is super good to live, highly recommended!

Our child came here for the village's Children's Day activities, and we brought the whole family along for a visit. We booked one double room and one twin room. The hotel is essentially a budget hotel, and at around 200 yuan during the Dragon Boat Festival in Rongjiang, the price felt a bit high. Advantages: Basic hygiene was met. Bottled water in the lobby was practically unlimited. The restaurant service was quite attentive; we didn't have time for breakfast, and the staff packed us some steamed buns, dumplings, and pastries. It's about a kilometer from the village's sports field, which is quite close. Disadvantages: 1. The glass partition between the bathroom and bedroom was poorly designed; the upper part was transparent, and there was no curtain. When someone was in the bathroom, the direct light shone into the bed, affecting sleep. 2. The facilities were somewhat old; the toilet seat was wobbly. 3. There are many farmhouses nearby, and the roosters crowing around from 5 am onwards made it difficult for me to fall back asleep… a somewhat unexpected annoyance.

The room is clean and very good. I am very satisfied with the stay.
