The room called the front desk to cast screens and other issues were answered quickly.

GGuest UserI can't believe it's 2025, and there are still such wonderful hostels in China: bookstores, music, drinks, courtyards, and incredibly cool owners... a cultural utopia in Luoping County, Qujing City, Yunnan Province. It's a haven of cleanliness, a great location, excellent amenities, and a remarkably quiet environment. I hope Luoping 97 Bookstore Hostel stays open for a hundred years! Right now, I'm at Guiyang Longdongbao Airport T3 Terminal, about to board a Xiamen Airlines flight back to Nanjing. Yunnan, Guizhou, and Sichuan are a hub of delicious food and a gathering place for all kinds of culinary experts. This isn't my first time here, and it won't be my last. By the way, the hostel owner told me about the Time YHA Hostel in Yongyuan Alley next to the Presidential Palace in Nanjing. That's where my stays at China International Youth Hostels began, the place where a beautiful dream started... I miss the pre-pandemic hostel era, cherish everything I have now, and look forward to the future. Attached is a picture: the sunset I saw from the owner's rooftop that night. HHuahongzhenguiOur primary goal was to visit Luoping's Jinji Fengcong (Golden Rooster Hills) and its vast rapeseed fields, so we meticulously chose and booked the highly-rated Xinyuan Dream Guesthouse on Ctrip, conveniently located within the scenic area. It was spotlessly clean, tidy, and comfortable, and our spacious view room offered direct views of Jinji Fengcong. After staying here, we realized that staying within the scenic area is absolutely the best choice, saving both time, effort, and money.
The guesthouse is run by a young, university-educated couple. The proprietress is a sweet, friendly, and charming young lady; her radiant smile is as captivating as the blooming rapeseed flowers themselves. They offer freshly prepared dishes and rice for all three meals, which are excellent value for money and taste wonderfully fresh and light. The owner even personally drove us to the scenic area entrance in his electric cart, which was incredibly thoughtful.
Right outside the guesthouse, there's a field of rapeseed flowers (Pic 2) where every casual snap turns into a stunning photo. Public transport is also conveniently accessible right outside the entrance. I've already recommended it to all my friends on social media who are planning a trip here!

It is the highest landmark building in Qujing. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. The facilities are consistent with the introduction, and the furniture is European style. The floor-to-ceiling windows on the whole wall have a wide view, you can see the Nancheng Gate and the gate of Liaokuoshan Park. The lighting is very bright. The environment is good and the transportation is convenient. In the building, shopping mall Supermarkets have everything to shop, eat and drink night markets. There are also farmers' markets nearby, and many restaurants to meet the needs. More than 1 km walk to West Street, Nanchengmen, Liaokushan Park - Park Longtan Park, etc., many bus lines downstairs are very convenient. In short, it is a good place to stay for summer. The boss is very good. On the first day of the stay, he personally picked us up to help us with our luggage. If there is a problem, we can solve it in time. The only downside is that we can't do cleaning every day. I stayed for 16 nights and didn't change the quilt cover and sheets. Although that is the case, it will come next year.
