YYida88Our family of 13 recently spent three nights at Wuyou Stayhill Resort in Sanbao Village, Jingdezhen, and it was a truly wonderful stay. The location is excellent—about a 20‑minute drive from Jingdezhen city—yet set in a quiet village surrounded by mountains and many artist studios, cafés, and restaurants, so there is always something interesting to explore. The hotel also provided free rental scooters, which made exploring Sanbao village easy and really fun. Waking up each morning to the crisp mountain air was already the perfect start to the day.
The resort offers spacious rooms with high‑quality finishes and fittings; our six rooms were all beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with quality bedding and bathroom amenities that made for a very comfortable stay.
The highlight of our visit was the outstanding service from the staff, who were consistently caring, attentive, and proactive in anticipating our needs. They handled several ad‑hoc requests even before our arrival and continued to go above and beyond throughout our stay so that every member of our family felt well looked after.
We particularly enjoyed the freshly prepared breakfast each morning. After long days of sightseeing, it was a joy to return to the resort, where a good night sweat desert soup awaited us, making it feel like coming home every evening. On Christmas Eve, our sweet dessert soup was accompanied by a beautifully written poem wishing us all a Merry Christmas, a thoughtful touch that showed how the staff went the extra mile to make us feel special. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made our stay smooth, relaxing, and truly memorable, and this hotel is highly recommended to anyone planning to visit Sanbao Village.

SShanquanliThe hotel is built into the hillside with a courtyard style, functioning as a comprehensive conference center. It's surrounded by lush greenery, creating a beautiful environment. It's also very close to the Jingdezhen China Ceramics Museum. Check-in and key collection are done in Building 1. The breakfast restaurant is located on the first floor of Building 1. I stayed in Building 3 (opposite Building 1); the room was spacious, clean, and tidy. The bedding was clean and comfortable. While the room layout and facilities were a bit old-fashioned, they were well-maintained and perfectly functional. We received a complimentary snack pack on the first day. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and the dining area was spacious.

GGuest UserThis guesthouse is an absolute gem! The location is fantastic, close to Taoxichuan, making it super easy to get around, and all the essential amenities are nearby. Renting an e-bike makes exploring attractions like Sanbao Village, Taoyang New Village, and the Sculpture Ceramics Factory a breeze – you can hit all the key Jingdezhen sights. The guesthouse itself is elegant and comfortable, beautifully incorporating ceramic culture with a lot of style, and the common areas are perfect for relaxing. The cleanliness is impeccable; the room was spotless, the bedding fresh and soft, and the bathroom facilities looked brand new. It's well-equipped with a comfy bed, good appliances, and thoughtful toiletries. The service is incredibly warm and attentive; the owner is as friendly as a friend. We received a welcome gift upon arrival and a little surprise when we checked out – it was heartwarming throughout. Five stars, absolutely!

Conveniently located in the bustling Sanbao street, eleme deliveries are also available and come right up to the room, the hot tub came with bath salts, mood lighting and really was worth every penny.

Few suggestions that could elevate this experience further:
- The tv does not have GiTV it has CRTV so English entertainment is unavailable on the projector unless you mirror your device and use a Chinese streaming app. International apps are not compatible.
- Room temp at night is quite warm since air conditioning is switched off during the winters, fans would be a relief
- Would’ve loved some chocolate placed on pillows for a honey suite
- The service is only in Chinese and restaurant closes at 4:30 pm unless you book a meal in advance
- There is no dairy creamer with the coffee only milk available in the restaurant on 1F
- Would’ve loved the projector in the hot tub area
- Xiao Du only understands Chinese and most room commands need her assistance, inconvenient if someone doesn’t speak the language
- Hard to find Didi Cabs to go anywhere but relatively easy to find cabs 2km away. (Very scenic walk or e-scooter)

Every photo you take here looks like a postcard! Staying here includes complimentary tickets to Taoyangli Scenic Area, and you can access the park directly from the hotel's back entrance. They also offer a free travel photoshoot in Taoyangli, complete with styling and makeup, which is an amazing deal. Parking is convenient too, with public parking spots available within 50 meters of the hotel entrance.

The atmosphere is beautiful, and the large balcony on the third floor is no worse than those Internet celebrity hotels. Super movie. I thought I was in a resort hotel. The location is perfect. It is very close to all attractions. The surrounding scenery is very beautiful. Opposite is the river view. You can enjoy the breeze and take a walk. The hotel is clean and tidy with complete facilities. The sister at the front desk Very welcoming, breakfast is also great, very suitable for the taste buds of out-of-town babies, highly recommended

GGuest UserI had a pretty good stay for a few days. The room cleaning was very thorough; the staff even cleaned the corners. The projector was great for watching 4K movies, and surprisingly, I could even access some member-exclusive content directly. It was really nice to just relax and watch movies in the evening. The dry/wet separation in the bathroom was very convenient, and the air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly. The zero-pressure pillow was just right, and my neck didn't complain at all. For breakfast, they had local-style fried dough sticks, twisted doughnuts, and handmade wontons, all tasting authentic. The restaurant staff were very attentive and proactively asked if I wanted refills. I was also surprised to find they offered free laundry service; they washed and returned all my business shirts. The attention to detail in their service was truly impressive.

GGuest UserThe Xiyuan Hotel where we stayed this time is near the Taoxichuan Cultural and Creative District, and the location is simply impeccable! It takes only 5-7 minutes on foot to reach Taoxichuan’s weekend creative market and art gallery. After visiting the night market in the evening, you can take a leisurely walk back to the hotel to experience the literary and artistic atmosphere of the Porcelain Capital. Thoughtful and considerate service: The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic. She not only helped to upgrade the room type, but also gave me a travel guide. The pottery shop near the hotel is very good. The finished cups can be fired and sent home, which is very commemorative!
The surrounding area is super convenient: in addition to Taoxichuan, there are many treasures near the hotel - it takes only 15 minutes to walk to Jiuji Town (the night market snacks are superb), and it only takes 15 minutes to take a taxi to the Imperial Kiln Museum. If you are too lazy to go out, the view from the room is pretty good. You can enjoy the night view of Taoxichuan while eating local specialties. The only minor drawback is the slightly weak sound insulation, but the overall comfort and location completely make up for it. Whether you come to buy porcelain, visit exhibitions, or simply experience the literary and artistic atmosphere of Jingdezhen, this hotel is great! Next time I come to Jingdezhen, I will definitely stay here again

GGuest UserI don’t write reviews unless it’s extremely good or bad. This might be my worst hotel experience ever while traveling in China. I ended up switching hotels because of point 3.
1. I booked for a non-smoking and quite room, ended up with a room smells like cigarettes. You can tell my smelling the curtains and the room walls. After complained, they changed room for me. I can smell the cigarette the moment I walked in. Then I ask to change it again, they refused. They said that I can sleep here for the night then they’ll consider changing the room.
2. I found stains on the sheets and ask them to change sheets. It’s the night staff’s first day working, and she doesn’t know how to change the sheets and make the bed properly (untrained employee being put on a night shift the first day working).
3. Then, they contacted the manager and finally changed me to another room. The security person came up and delivered the new room key. Honestly, this is the main reason I decided to switch hotels. He asked me: “What problems do you have?” I felt threatened and not safe. I said, I just want to sleep in a non-smoking quiet room. I am the customer and I paid to stay here. Is that a problem? He laughed. The way he looked at me gave me chills. It’s not a security person, it’s literally a g***ster off the street.
China is a safe country but not this hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Caoye Ziyou Hostel and had a truly wonderful, five-star experience. Its location is absolutely unbeatable, situated right near the Jingdezhen People Square and within the beautiful Taoyangli Scenic Area. This made exploring the city's key attractions, especially the ceramic culture sites, incredibly easy and convenient.
Key Highlights:
• Prime Location: Being in the Taoyangli Scenic Area means you step out right into a charming environment with local shops and historical ambiance. It's a fantastic base for sightseeing and soaking up the local atmosphere.
• Comfortable & Unique Vibe: The hostel itself has a lovely, artistic, and relaxed atmosphere. It's well-maintained and feels very cozy. The common areas are great for relaxing and meeting other travelers.
• Cleanliness: My room (or the general facilities) was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Everything felt fresh and well-cared for.
• Friendly Staff: The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. They offered great local tips for dining and transportation, which significantly enhanced my trip. Their hospitality made me feel right at home.
Would I recommend it?
Absolutely! I highly recommend the Caoye Ziyou Hostel! For anyone visiting Jingdezhen, especially those interested in the history and art of ceramics, this hostel offers an excellent blend of convenience, comfort, and unique local charm. It's great value for money and a truly memorable place to stay.
