Room and bed were comfy, though the pillow didn’t suit my neck very well. A/C couldn’t get the room quite as cool as I wanted it, but it was fine. Noise transferred very easily through the walls though. My neighbors woke me up with their talking at midnight. I wouldn’t pick this area again because there weren’t very many restaurants in walking distance. The area just north of Cao Cao park would be much better in this regard. Breakfast was pretty decent, not the best or the worst hotel breakfast I had in China.

I book this hotel every year when I go home for the New Year, mainly for the breakfast. The authentic old Mengcheng oil buns and crispy sesame cakes, plus authentic fermented beans, really miss the taste of childhood. The hotel facilities are also very clean, and the breakfast buffet is very rich.
