"The large hotel is really impressive. 14 floors, we were on the 7th. The service is very nice and helpful and for some reason uses technology from the 70s. But hey, it works. Unfortunately the roof terrace was closed in February. It was always clean inside, it was cleaned daily. The furnishings are also a bit older, but functional. We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is unfortunately a bit further out. With Uber it costs €20 to get to the city center, a 10-minute ride. A taxi cost us €25. The fares are a bit stupid. The bus is better for around three euros a day and also a 15-20-minute ride. There is a supermarket opposite the hotel, nice cafes and pubs. Unfortunately this part of the city is a bit dirty. But if that doesn't bother you, you'll find an affordable hotel with good service here."

Room needs some upgrades especially the shower(there are molds in it, need some deep cleaning), the cabinets doesn't close good and there's no safety box and the breakfast only has few options. Bus stops are near the hotel which is convenient. Owner was friendly."

The walls in the rooms are so thin you can hear your neighbors talking. On the beach opposite, there's music, noise, shouting, and parties until 4 a.m. It's a shame. If you want to de-stress...and relax...this isn't the place, unless you enforce or respect the public order."

"You will not find a more gracious host or B&B in Mondello!! I can't say enough great things about this B&B. Let's start with location, steps from the beach with great views, surrounded by all kinds of restaurants for every one's taste, Then we have to mention how nice the rooms are, very modern clean and quiet with the best A/C in Sicily! The morning breakfast lays out like a feast fit for a weary traveler! With great specialty coffee's to kick start your day. We were able to use this as a base to visit Palermo, Cefalu, and Monreale. Don't pass up the opportunity to check out this quaint little town of Mondello as well, nice beaches with surrounding views. Great beach vibe town, very laid back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! 10 STARS"

"I booked a king bed, and the bed in my room is actually only double bed size and furthermore it is ROUND. I’ve never seen the bed from a swinging 60s bachelor pad in a hotel room before. The room also doesn’t have a chair, only the bed and a large sofa. there are more than a dozen steps up from the street to the reception desk. The breakfast room is located in the basement, which the elevator doesn’t reach, which means walking down the steps to the lobby, and then another large flight of stairs to the basement. And then back up all those stairs again to reach the elevator and return to the room. At check in I asked if I could keep my key and was told yes. Another desk clerk later told me I “wasn’t allowed“ to keep my key. I’m sorry I thought I was paying to stay here. fairly decent location on the main bus lines of Via Roma and with some restaurants in walking distance. The museum of archaeology is a 15 minute walk away and all the other museums and churches are much farther. Palermo has a very large pedestrian zone with no bus service inside it. my room is quite large with modern fixtures, although the floor is all concrete, no carpeting. Breakfast is adequate, but with not a lot of choice, and the staff there who bring your cappuccino are friendly. A/C, small flatscreen TV, large walk-in shower. If I had a choice, I would not want to return here again."

"I would highly highly recommend booking this B&B. The location is perfect, just a short walk to mondello beach with many nearby restaurants. The facilities are fantastic, extra large and extra comfortable bed, very clean and modern bathroom, good air-conditioning to keep the room cool and a lovely garden with a nice swimming pool and diving board. Amazing! Breakfast was also delicious! Robert and his family really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and help you have the best time possible. They were all so friendly and Robert helped us with taxis and also provided some fantastic recommendations for food and activities. We had amazing food every day in Mondello and also hired a boat for the day which was one of the highlights of our holiday. Our stay at this B&B was perfect, I would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be returning in the future!"

The air conditioning did not work, which was especially concerning since my husband suffers from high blood pressure and cannot be in overly warm settings. This made our stay extremely uncomfortable. The hotel itself is very outdated and looks nothing like the photos online. Instead of the charming, modern feel we expected, it resembled more of a rustic log cabin. Additionally, I did not feel safe — there was a strange set of stairs with a door leading directly into our space, but we were not given a key. It felt as though anyone could walk in on us at any time. Overall, this stay did not meet expectations on multiple levels, and I would not recommend it."

"This B&B has an excellent location, close to all of Palermo's main attractions. We only stayed one night, but the room seemed small to both of us and very dark. The window faced the interior of a building, which was a bit claustrophobic for me. It wasn't the cleanest thing... Kudos to Germana's staff, who were incredibly kind, as was the lady herself. The breakfast was good, with both sweet and savory options... the fresh croissants from the bakery were fabulous! I'd change the color scheme, perhaps... too much gray makes the room seem even darker."
