"The hotel is on a bus route do is easy to get to from the train station and the centre of Oxford. The rooms are very small but you have all you need, a clean bed, a very comfortable mattress, WiFi, TV and bath towels. The got water to our shower was extremely hot and we couldn't make it cooler, but the receptionist will look into that. The room was very clean apart from where one of the beds touches the wall, there is a lot of dust on the floor under there. But the bathroom was very clean."

The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Each morning, the breakfast served was nothing short of delightful, offering a wide selection of fresh and delicious options to start the day right. What truly sets The Randolph apart is its unbeatable location. Situated in the heart of Oxford, it's a stone's throw away from the city's historic colleges, cozy cafes, and vibrant shopping areas. After a day of exploring, the hotel's spa was the perfect place to unwind and rejuvenate. I cannot recommend The Randolph Hotel enough to anyone visiting Oxford. Whether for its impeccable service, luxurious comfort, or prime location, this hotel is a gem that truly embodies the spirit of this historic city."

"Drive directly from London Airport to the hotel. The hotel is located in a residential area. The appearance is a submit-detached house. When we arrived, there was a large truck of renovation garbage at the doorway of the yard, which looked a bit messy. Entering the room was still very tidy. It should have just been renovated and looked relatively new and clean. The house is of course an old house with a certain history. The heating and sockets are a bit old. The sockets are arranged near the baseboards of the house, which makes charging awkward. Now everyone has so many electronic devices, it is recommended that the store provide more charging sockets. We booked a family room. The room is large enough. On the ground floor, there is a floor-to-ceiling window leading to the back yard. In summer, there should be a small inner yard with a table for leisure, but we arrived in winter and the yard was not decorated. Breakfast was arranged in a small restaurant in the sun room. The food is relatively rich and the environment is warm. You can communicate with other travelers. The manager and waiter are also very enthusiastic and can do their best to help the guests. The transportation is not bad. We basically walk to the central area, which takes about 20 to 25 minutes. The advantage is that you don’t have to find a place to park, and you can also see the small colleges on both sides along the way. There are not many places to eat around, but there is a small bar about 15 minutes' walk away, which has 1 Michelin star. It is a little expensive, but the food is delicious and the atmosphere is good. Students in the school are discussing business plans, which is a very university atmosphere. You can park on the roadside in front of the hotel, which is convenient. The manager let us park in the small parking lot of the hotel, which makes us feel at home. The small hotel is free and warm, and you can enter and exit with a password at night. Overall, I am quite satisfied. The next two pictures are of the small bar, and the last picture is Zixia on the road at dusk."

"The hotel is about a ten-minute walk from the train station. The room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff were very friendly. They also provide drinking water, and the breakfast selection was plentiful. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful."

"A unique old English coaching hotel. My room 117 is not soundproof. When the neighbor is watching TV, I feel like we are watching together. Sometimes there are musical instruments. Breakfast and dinner are just OK. Don't expect too much. Bruce does a good job in reception."

"We were attending a wedding in Oxford and the city centre hotels were very expensive. The reviews for the Black Boy were good so we booked. It was a joy to stay here and we had a fabulous weekend.. Great location - about 10 mins in taxi from centre and bus stop about 5 mins or so walk. Buses went to the city centre and railway station. The room was lovely, as were the welcoming staff. Breakfasts were very good and the pub had a nice atmosphere and an outside garden area. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Oxford."

Breakfast particularly - smashed avocado wasn’t mashed as the avo wasn’t ripe, and the poached eggs were overcooked and hard, burnt toast - not great for the price charged."
