"This guesthouse was such a pleasant surprise! The environment and views are incredibly soothing, every photo you take looks beautiful, and the atmosphere is just perfect. 🥰 The guy at the front desk was so wonderful – gentle, kind, and attentive. We weren't familiar with the area, and he went out of his way to drive us to town for dinner, showing great patience throughout. He even came to pick us up from dinner to take us back to the guesthouse later that evening, which was incredibly thoughtful and warm. Even breakfast was personalized; they thoughtfully considered our wake-up time and arranged it flexibly, so we didn't have to rush – truly a 10/10 experience! Overall, the service was meticulous and spot-on. We felt pampered the entire time, and it offered fantastic value for money. I genuinely recommend it to everyone. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!"

"Overall This was an absolutely stunning stay — one of the best I've experienced, and it truly blew us away. We had a balcony room with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The resort is run by a warm couple and a team of locals who were wonderfully attentive and helpful, arranging our transportation from Chengdu to their doorstep and back. The food was exceptional — wholesome, nourishing and deeply local. The dinner hotpot hit the spot on a cold night, and breakfast was healthy and energising — exactly what you need before a long day of hiking. The room itself was spectacular; waking up to pine trees dusted with snow and a clear mountain view was something else. On a clear night, you could stargaze from the balcony and melt into the rocking chair. Simply blissful and a good escape from the city life. Highly recommend NPS 10. 🏨 Room — 10/10 Great layout, comfortable bed, a warm toilet seat on a cold morning, spacious, and most importantly — a stunning view. The hotel is relatively new, having opened in 2025 according to the owners. 🧹 Cleanliness — 10/10 Spotless throughout. All common areas were new and well kept. 👋 Staff Friendliness & Responsiveness — 10/10 The couple who run the place are genuinely lovely — always on hand to ensure you have a great stay. Responsive over WeChat to help coordinate logistics ahead of the trip, and they'll drop you at the entrance of the main hiking sites. Other staff were equally helpful. The primary language is Chinese, but they are patient and a translation app works perfectly fine. 📍 Location — 9/10 A 10-minute drive from both Changping and Shuangqiao valleys. Not much in the immediate surroundings — quaint little farms, grazing cows, and steep hills that will test anyone not yet acclimatised. 🍽️ Food & Drink — 9/10 The hotpot on both nights was incredibly nourishing and full of flavour, featuring a variety of local wild vegetables and mushrooms. There is also a stir-fry menu with a solid selection of local dishes, though we stuck to the hotpot both evenings. 🌅 View/Scenery — 11/10 Snowcapped peaks and beautiful pine forests as far as the eye can see (visited in April). I could have sat and stared out the window all day. 🏃 Activities & Surroundings — 10/10 The mountains and hiking trails are the main draw here — and honestly, the only activity you'll ever need. Shuangqiao is absolutely gorgeous and you could spend a whole day there if you like to hike(instead of just taking the bus). Changping is more for hikers, no bus service with a different charm, I love it more cause it was less touristy. The immediate area is quiet — everything you need is within the hotel itself. Stock up on essentials in the city, or check with staff ahead of time if there's anything specific you need. It's a hillside town, four hours from Chengdu."

"The front desk staff were incredibly warm and lovely! They gave us a free upgrade to a deluxe twin room, complimentary breakfast, and even gave each of us a souvenir snack bag when we left. We were just heading to Shuangqiao Valley for rafting, and the snacks were delicious. We had a super perfect day in the valley. The room was spacious and clean, and the facilities were brand new without any new-renovation smell! The oxygen concentrator in the room was a huge help! Even though we're locals, my friend and I are both prone to altitude sickness. We kept the oxygen machine on all night and had absolutely no altitude sickness at all! Parking at the entrance was convenient, and the staff helped us move our car, so we didn't have to worry at all. Five-star review (՞ਊ՞)👍 I'll recommend it to all my friends visiting Siguniangshan!"

"This hotel is super convenient for getting around, saving a lot of travel time. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, so we didn't have to worry about the kids being noisy and disturbing other guests. Downstairs, there's a cafe and restaurant with authentic Qiaojiao beef that's incredibly satisfying – perfect after a long day! You can just head downstairs for a hearty meal, then come back up to shower, order a coffee, and catch up on some shows. It's truly a blissful experience. The hairdryer in the room is also powerful, drying my hair in no time. Eating well, drinking well, playing well, and sleeping well – it truly made for a pleasant trip!"

"Stayed here during the autumn holiday and was thoroughly impressed! I was quite surprised to find such a great room at such an affordable price in this location. The room even had an oxygen concentrator, which was a lifesaver as I was worried about altitude sickness. I used it for a bit upon arrival and felt much better. The owner was very welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious and varied, with a fantastic view from the dining area. They even had two adorable dogs that would lead the way! On our last day, we also had dinner there and ordered their hot pot, which was much better than anything we had outside. I booked this for my friends who are taking their kids for spring break, and they were very happy with it too."

"The hotel has a great design and is very comfortable to stay in, with excellent bedding. Plus, there's underfloor heating, so it's not cold at all. The private hot spring on the balcony is also very relaxing. Most importantly, you don't have to worry about altitude sickness. They provide a free oxygen machine, which is a big plus since I noticed many other hotels charge for theirs. Highly recommended, it's really good!"

"I had a really great stay this time! The B&B is located in a small village with beautiful scenery. It was incredibly quiet at night, and the bed was very comfortable, with both soft and firm pillows thoughtfully provided – I slept like a baby. The front desk lady was super nice and efficient, offering very thoughtful service. The room was clean and tidy, with all sorts of amenities, and everything was designed with guests in mind, like the smart toilet, oxygen machine, humidifier, and floor heating… The value for money is absolutely amazing. I came here for a hiking trip, and it's a great place to acclimatize to the altitude. The owners were both very warm and welcoming, and thoughtfully explained all the precautions and such to me. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm around, highly recommend it!"
