"Pros: The location is great, right next to the bus station and close to the train station, making transportation very convenient. The room is relatively spacious, and the facilities inside are quite new. If you choose the right room, you can even see the mountain-top architecture of Jinjiangshan Park. I booked a king-sized bed room online for that day, but the front desk informed me it was no longer available, so they switched me to a twin room, which also had 1.8-meter beds and good amenities.
Areas for improvement: The breakfast wasn't particularly special, or perhaps I arrived close to closing time, as there didn't seem to be many options. Also, the front desk actively asked for good reviews, which can lead to a negative experience. Focusing on service details is a better long-term approach. Overall, this hotel is still worth experiencing, and a great starting point to discover the charm of Dandong!"

"The hotel facilities are brand new, and the staff are incredibly nice. Even the cleaning aunties warmly welcome you back next time! The bedding in the room was really comfortable – I hadn't been sleeping well due to an illness, but I slept soundly here. Highly recommend! They even gave me a souvenir when I checked out, and the fridge magnet is so pretty. If I go to Dandong again, this will definitely be my first choice. ❤️"

"This was my first time experiencing a guesthouse like this, and as far as the accommodation itself, 'Chuhe' left very little to complain about. The room was clean, spacious, bright, and featured a modern design.
However, the self-check-in process – with no external signage, no front desk inside, and no staff present – is likely something many people haven't experienced before, or it might not be for everyone.
First, it was difficult to find. Asking locals for directions based on the address and building number was useless; they had no idea where the entrance was! I had to contact them via phone, and they remotely guided me to the location (a process where the owner knew exactly what was going on, but the guest was clueless, making it time-consuming and inefficient). Then, they instructed me on how to operate the elevator, enter the main door, and get into the room. If I had arrived at night, in bad weather, or with a lot of luggage, it would have been even more of a hassle. I wasn't aware of 'Chuhe's' setup when I booked, so I tried to find it the traditional way, to no avail. Luckily, my companion had a similar experience before, so the delay was minimal.
Given that this is a new concept, guests need time to adapt and decide if it's for them. Perhaps it would be helpful to clearly state this on the booking page and provide simple instructions or clarifications. This would allow guests to assess if it's suitable for them and book with a clear understanding.
One warning: the sharp corners of the wooden bed frame under the mattress are quite pointed. I already scraped my shin on it. They should really add corner protectors!"

"This guesthouse boasts an excellent location, just a five-minute walk from the train station, making transfers incredibly convenient. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The owner, despite appearing serious, is incredibly warm-hearted and genuinely sincere. They were always quick to help solve any issues we encountered and even thoughtfully prepared a small gift. Overall, the stay was a perfect experience – highly recommended!"

"Next to the Zhonglian Hotel, the 21st floor has a high-altitude river view. You can clearly see the China-North Korea Friendship Bridge and the Yalu River Broken Bridge. There are two 2-meter beds. Three girls are more than enough to stay. The landlord is very caring and has been providing services and consultation online. By the way, remember to turn on the water heater for a while before taking a bath, and the water temperature quickly reached nearly 50 degrees."

"The price is super high, really good, this price of the homestay is still worried at the beginning, but after arriving at the place, I saw it completely different from what I thought. The room is very spacious and clean. The room decoration is also very homey. All facilities are quite complete. 👍👍 The boss is also very enthusiastic about us.
Next time I come to live in this 👍👍👍👍"
