Mountain view Hotels in Kaski

This family run hotel was a great find for relaxing a few days after our trek. It is easy walking distance to the lakeside but far enough away that you don't hear the nightclubs when you want to sleep at night. The beds are comfortable and the room is well designed. There are many thoughtful touches: the table attached to the wall by the door let's you have luggage underneath, the fridge is for you to use and not crammed full of mini bar stuff, there is even a beer mug provided. The full hot breakfast has eggs, chicken sausage, potatoes, toast, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee, we were plenty well fed. You can choose to sit out in the garden area for breakfast if you like. The owner and his family were very friendly and helpful with the owner speaking really good English.

We really enjoyed our time at this hotel. The location right by the lake is perfect, and waking up to the view of the water and mountains was a treat. The staff were wonderfully helpful and kind throughout our stay. When we asked if we could have chairs for the balcony to enjoy the view better, they provided them away without any hesitation. They were also always happy to help with information about the area and any questions we had. If you want a well located place with great views and genuinely helpful staff, this is it. We really loved our time here. 🩷

I stayed here for one night, and it was a flawless experience. The hotel is incredibly clean, modern, and well-maintained, with rooms fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. The front desk staff were highly professional, welcoming, and spoke excellent English. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is their exceptional guest service. I originally planned to take a bus to Lumbini and asked the front desk for assistance. They went above and beyond by calling the owner over to help me. I was initially a bit skeptical, assuming it might be an expensive upsell for private transport. However, after an honest conversation, the owner offered us an incredibly competitive and fair price simply because we were guests at his hotel. The private transfer turned out to be the best decision we made, thanks to our phenomenal driver. He spoke fluent English, was genuinely kind, and was an exceptionally cautious driver, which was incredibly reassuring given how winding and bumpy the roads can be. He even thoughtfully offered to pull over at a gorgeous scenic suspension bridge so we could take photos. When we arrived in Lumbini, he proactively gave us invaluable advice on how to navigate the area and how much time to allocate to each spot. We did not even think to ask for this information, but we realized later just how incredibly useful his advice actually was. I rarely leave hotel reviews, but the outstanding kindness from the owner, the staff, and our brilliant driver deeply impressed me. This is a very nice hotel...great location, great views, and a kind staff. While the free buffet breakfast is good, it's no where near 5 star... it's more like 3 star. with a very limited selection of food. I enjoyed Pokhara so much that I decided to stay an extra week, and when I asked about rates booking directly with the hotel, they seemed arrogant and disinterested... saying there was no discount for booking directly with them. So I left and booked another hotel right on the lake , larger room and same buffet breakfast...for much less money. If you want to pay more for less, stay here.

We recently stayed in a Deluxe Room at Ghandruk Resort by Hilly Valley from October 8 to October 9. We arrived early around 11 AM for a 2 PM check-in; the room was still being cleaned, which was completely understandable, though it was surprising that a resort of this size could not accommodate a request for lunch upon arrival. The property is a bit older, and the room lacked an AC, heater, or fan. However, given the 4-5°C weather, the bathroom's geyser worked perfectly and provided much-needed hot water within minutes. The room was clean, satisfying, and featured a nice small veranda. Complimentary tea and coffee sachets along with two bottles of water were nice touches. The dining experience left us with mixed feelings. The food was good but felt slightly overpriced, and the included breakfast was a fixed menu rather than a buffet. Our primary concern was the dining hall setup. As a family traveling with an infant, it was uncomfortable to eat our dinner right next to guests consuming alcohol. A designated dining space separate from the bar area would greatly improve the family-friendly appeal of the resort. Overall, it is a clean and decent property, but there is room for improvement in its dining logistics and room amenities.

Very nice hotel. Good location just a walking distance to central bus station and a big park near the lake. I was there for one night only, the room was on the top floor, spacious, clean and comfortable, the city view was nice but unfortunately it was very foggy in the morning and during the day and the snowy himalaya mountain ranges were not in sight at all (bad timing🙁). The staff services were great, very helpful and attentive (especially Mr.Milan Aryal 👍). The food from resto (pasta) was also very nice and tasty. Keep up the great work and surely will stay at snow peak hotel if ever go back to Pokhara! Cheers...

The hotel is within walking distance to Phewa Lake, and there are many small shops nearby to browse. They offer umbrellas for rent at the front desk on rainy days. The laundry service is paid and outsourced. There seemed to be a communication breakdown among the front desk staff, as I had to go up and down multiple times. The second time I used the wash and dry service, some of my clothes got mixed up with another guest's. That guest had a very thick, waterproof jacket, which resulted in my clothes not being fully dried.

We had a great stay at Hotel Grand Holiday! Really friendly team of staff who helped us with booking the things we needed for our hike, and the room itself was really comfortable  and had a balcony, too, which we didn’t realise! (Double room with Mountain View.) Great value for money too. We ended up extending our stay for an extra two days

The hotel is not bad for the money. But it's certainly not 4 stars. There is no safe in the room, no disposable slippers. But the bed is nice and the balcony is great. Breakfast is until 9.30 and very simple. Americano is only available for an additional fee. The service is generally normal, but nothing outstanding. It would be more correct to honestly indicate that it is 3 stars, then reality would match expectations.

During our trip, my phone and cash were stolen. At first, I thought it would be impossible to recover them in a foreign country where I didn’t speak the language, and I had already given up. But after I told the manager, he went above and beyond to help. He asked his partners to accompany me to the police station and even took me around to different places. Throughout the whole process, he kept reassuring me, and in the end, everything was recovered in less than a day. This hotel truly made us feel relaxed and safe. The manager’s warmth and kindness left us with unforgettable memories.
