Amazing
VVicky59This family run hotel was a great find for relaxing a few days after our trek. It is easy walking distance to the lakeside but far enough away that you don't hear the nightclubs when you want to sleep at night. The beds are comfortable and the room is well designed. There are many thoughtful touches: the table attached to the wall by the door let's you have luggage underneath, the fridge is for you to use and not crammed full of mini bar stuff, there is even a beer mug provided. The full hot breakfast has eggs, chicken sausage, potatoes, toast, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee, we were plenty well fed. You can choose to sit out in the garden area for breakfast if you like. The owner and his family were very friendly and helpful with the owner speaking really good English.
AAnonymous UserVery clean and new room. About 8 to 10 mins walk to Sarangkot view point. Staff was nice and kind. Hot water was working in the evening but not in the morning. I also realised that some rooms seem to have TV but mine doesn’t. Breakfast was decent. Wake up to the sunrise view from the room and you can also go to the rooftop to enjoy the view. There’s construction going on just beside and in front of the hotel so bear in mind that it’s noisy with hammering and drilling sounds throughout the day. They also offer dinner menu in case you want to snug in but unfortunately I did not get to try it as I went to a place nearby for food. Overall a recommended place!
GGuest UserThis is a very nice hotel...great location, great views, and a kind staff. While the free buffet breakfast is good, it's no where near 5 star... it's more like 3 star. with a very limited selection of food.
I enjoyed Pokhara so much that I decided to stay an extra week, and when I asked about rates booking directly with the hotel, they seemed arrogant and disinterested... saying there was no discount for booking directly with them. So I left and booked another hotel right on the lake , larger room and same buffet breakfast...for much less money. If you want to pay more for less, stay here.
GGuest UserLocation is stunning, and to watch the sunrise over the Himalayas from a jacuzzi on the balcony was awesome. Premium room was definitely worth the extra money.. Chef Is great as the Ordered food was lovely , but the buffet breakfast was poorly organised and lots of ítems on the drinks menu unavaulable or sold out, wine not available by the glass, no coke (on one day) and the only drink on the specials board was Tequila sunrise but they had no tequila.Staff are just too nice and meek to ger mad at ,they just need a catering manager. Porter security guy carries all your cases up lots of stairs, managers very friendly. Stay in Lakeside,Pokhara before going to the retreat as to see it all lit up from the other side of the lake is quite a sight and a relief that you have moved on. Overall. probably are nicest stay in Nepal
GGuest UserI fell ill during my trip and stayed at this hotel during a lull. Even speaking to someone was difficult, but the staff were attentive to my condition and took the necessary measures before I could speak, which was a real relief. Their consideration really made me realize the warm nature of the Nepalese people and their sincere spirit of hospitality.
The music and bustle of people from the commercial facilities near the hotel could be heard until late at night, and there were some sleepless nights, but I think that's just because of the convenient location. The hotel was fully equipped with the necessary facilities and services for a three-star hotel, and overall I was very satisfied with my stay.
Ssir.rob1nVery nice hotel. Good location just a walking distance to central bus station and a big park near the lake. I was there for one night only, the room was on the top floor, spacious, clean and comfortable, the city view was nice but unfortunately it was very foggy in the morning and during the day and the snowy himalaya mountain ranges were not in sight at all (bad timing🙁). The staff services were great, very helpful and attentive (especially Mr.Milan Aryal 👍). The food from resto (pasta) was also very nice and tasty. Keep up the great work and surely will stay at snow peak hotel if ever go back to Pokhara! Cheers...
GGuest UserThe property is absolutely out of pokhara and very close to nature. To reach this place is tough but once you reach it, you will enjoy it. Awesome beautiful property. Nice polite staff and ready to help always. The swimming pool is superb. Over-all very happy
IIvanThe hotel is not bad for the money. But it's certainly not 4 stars. There is no safe in the room, no disposable slippers. But the bed is nice and the balcony is great. Breakfast is until 9.30 and very simple. Americano is only available for an additional fee. The service is generally normal, but nothing outstanding. It would be more correct to honestly indicate that it is 3 stars, then reality would match expectations.
GGuest UserLocation is good. Lake view. Photo number standard in the proposal is not true. I did not live in it, I lived with the view of the lake. The rooms are clean, the repair was long ago. For their stated money norms. The bed needs to be watched to be fresh, however, as in many Indian and Nepal hotels of the middle hand.
The restaurant is a special topic. It seemed delicious, it seemed clean and good until I ordered one dish with vegetables cut, it turned out they cut on the board after meat. One of them has a board. And for chicken and vegetables. A piece of freshness got into my vegetables, and... refused.
It must be said that the staff is very kind, trying. The meat plate was taken, tried to apologize and something to redo, but...
The hotel manager bought me a night bus ticket to Katmandu, planted on it.
SSofia_PoeThe hotel is one kilometre away from the Tourist bus stop. It's also around 15 minutes away from the lake if you go on foot. The location is pretty convenient.
The room ia well-equipped and has a table, two chairs, a TV set, a kettle, an AC, bottled water, and tea. It also has hot (not just warm) water, which was my first time to see in Nepal 😅 I had a nice breakfast, even prepacked one on the day I was leaving too early to have it in.
The main drawback for me was roosters waking each other up starting from 3 am somewhere nearby. Other than that, great indeed.
