Amazing
VVicky59This family run hotel was a great find for relaxing a few days after our trek. It is easy walking distance to the lakeside but far enough away that you don't hear the nightclubs when you want to sleep at night. The beds are comfortable and the room is well designed. There are many thoughtful touches: the table attached to the wall by the door let's you have luggage underneath, the fridge is for you to use and not crammed full of mini bar stuff, there is even a beer mug provided. The full hot breakfast has eggs, chicken sausage, potatoes, toast, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee, we were plenty well fed. You can choose to sit out in the garden area for breakfast if you like. The owner and his family were very friendly and helpful with the owner speaking really good English.
BBernard VoonThis retreat is a magical place. The most beautiful view one could wish for in Pokhara. It takes roughly 30 minutes to arrive by car from either the airport or bus stop.
The view of Himalayas with gorgeous sunset and sunrise is the reason we chose to stay here. We spent 4 days 3 nights here and we were blessed with breathtaking views. One particular day was fully clouded so it really depends on luck. Stay longer!
The rooms get pretty cold in December and luckily they are equipped with heater. I think the bed is just okay, definitely could replace with better ones. The shower takes a awhile to heat up and that's okay but i think they should add a tray to place toiletries for easier shower. The room also need more hooks or a wardrobe to better hang our clothes.
The retreat also has a little garden where they plant vegetables. I love going up there to see what they plant. There is a short hike down the retreat to reach a look out point and the world peace pagoda.
The restaurant serves good breakfast. Though i wish they could serve all items at once instead of coming out 1 by 1. The dinner menu is slightly expensive and there are some hits and misses. I would recommend the jhol momo, thakali set, pork chilli, chicken manchurian. I think the soup options are way too overpriced for the portion.
Lastly, i would like to commend on all staffs here for the exceptional service and hospitality. We even got a small gift that came with Nepali ritual i believe as a blessing. All the best to the team and continue to make this place better.
GGuest UserThis is a very nice hotel...great location, great views, and a kind staff. While the free buffet breakfast is good, it's no where near 5 star... it's more like 3 star. with a very limited selection of food.
I enjoyed Pokhara so much that I decided to stay an extra week, and when I asked about rates booking directly with the hotel, they seemed arrogant and disinterested... saying there was no discount for booking directly with them. So I left and booked another hotel right on the lake , larger room and same buffet breakfast...for much less money. If you want to pay more for less, stay here.
YYuna2576We really enjoyed our time at this hotel. The location right by the lake is perfect, and waking up to the view of the water and mountains was a treat. The staff were wonderfully helpful and kind throughout our stay. When we asked if we could have chairs for the balcony to enjoy the view better, they provided them away without any hesitation. They were also always happy to help with information about the area and any questions we had.
If you want a well located place with great views and genuinely helpful staff, this is it. We really loved our time here. 🩷
Ssir.rob1nVery nice hotel. Good location just a walking distance to central bus station and a big park near the lake. I was there for one night only, the room was on the top floor, spacious, clean and comfortable, the city view was nice but unfortunately it was very foggy in the morning and during the day and the snowy himalaya mountain ranges were not in sight at all (bad timing🙁). The staff services were great, very helpful and attentive (especially Mr.Milan Aryal 👍). The food from resto (pasta) was also very nice and tasty. Keep up the great work and surely will stay at snow peak hotel if ever go back to Pokhara! Cheers...
IIvanThe hotel is not bad for the money. But it's certainly not 4 stars. There is no safe in the room, no disposable slippers. But the bed is nice and the balcony is great. Breakfast is until 9.30 and very simple. Americano is only available for an additional fee. The service is generally normal, but nothing outstanding. It would be more correct to honestly indicate that it is 3 stars, then reality would match expectations.
GGuest UserThe property is absolutely out of pokhara and very close to nature. To reach this place is tough but once you reach it, you will enjoy it. Awesome beautiful property. Nice polite staff and ready to help always. The swimming pool is superb. Over-all very happy
AAnonymous UserI loved how the rooms were organized and very clean. The hygiene was top tier and also, the location of the hotel is at very good spot. Amenities are good as well. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay at this hotel.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location. From the balcony, you can see the snow-capped mountains, Fishtail Peak and Anna Peak in the distance. Compared with the overall environment of the hotel, the price is good value for money in Pokhara.
The biggest problem is the hot water in the room. The hot water is not hot. I didn't take a shower during the two nights I stayed.
I communicated with the waiter many times. The waiter's attitude was very patient and kind, but it didn't solve the problem. In their concept, this kind of lukewarm water is hot water.
SSofia_PoeThe hotel is one kilometre away from the Tourist bus stop. It's also around 15 minutes away from the lake if you go on foot. The location is pretty convenient.
The room ia well-equipped and has a table, two chairs, a TV set, a kettle, an AC, bottled water, and tea. It also has hot (not just warm) water, which was my first time to see in Nepal 😅 I had a nice breakfast, even prepacked one on the day I was leaving too early to have it in.
The main drawback for me was roosters waking each other up starting from 3 am somewhere nearby. Other than that, great indeed.
