Mountain view Hotels in Kampot

A very secluded place, the guesthouse is located in a beautiful garden with many mango trees. The location is quiet, as it's away from the city. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. We rented a scooter to explore the area. The room is large and spacious, and the bed is comfortable.

I costed me $38 and I stayed here for a night. I came here as a solo traveler and booked a double room with balcony. There was a big pool on the first floor. The location of the hotel was decent, although the road to the hotel was pretty rocky and deserted, kind of in the middle of nowhere and I’m unsure of how safe it is during the night seeing as there’s not many lamp posts. The room is great and spacious. The bathroom was spacious and the room was nicely decorated. You can watch YouTube on the TV but like most hotels the smart TV doesn’t really work properly so Netflix didn’t work. The amenities they offered were enough, they provided a refrigerator, hair dryer and all the other necessities that a standard hotel would provided. Although the bathroom would flood due to how far the drain was from the shower head, you can just move the shower head closer to the drain so it would not flood the whole bathroom. Everything was clean. But there was a minor mosquito problem when I woke up in the morning. Bathroom door lock doesn’t really work properly, butyou just have to pull it a bit harder. The service was great, the staff were helpful and communicative. I got an avocado toast and milk coffee for brunch at the restaurant, it was good. I would come back here when I return to Kampot!

Modern bright hotel great value for money, all services provided. Comfortable bed and good bathroom. Very nice staff so kind and helpful, absolutely no trouble in 99% of Cambodia one tiny border dispute and people cancelled, it’s a shame to see such a fine hotel almost empty.   Lovely bar on the 7th floor with a view over the city and the food was excellent, so go like I did and enjoy.. and I am 80 😂

Had to move rooms 3 times due to no working AC. Rooms themselves were comfortable and the bed was comfy. The breakfast had a couple of choices which were plated for you. The pool was nice and shady perfect for the hot season. Hotel staff were polite and helpful in booking bikes and tuk tuks. Good location a little out of town but a 5 minute walk to the seahorse fountain.

The view from Kampot was probably one of the best, but the bed in the old room really hurt my back. The room interior was decent, but since it's an old villa-style room with a lot of wooden fixtures, there was a fair amount of corrosion. Still, it wasn't a major inconvenience.

The Guesthouse is in a good location and close to lots of things. The owner was very helpful and kind. But, the guesthouse is noisy - from traffic & pubs/restaurants outside, and from guests inside.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean, which made me feel relaxed right away. The facilities were well-maintained and convenient, providing everything I needed during my stay. The staff were friendly and professional

Peaceful Retreat with Excellent Service Overall, Bali Villa Kampot is a great place to truly unwind and do nothing for the whole day. The environment is very peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing and escaping from the city. The only setback is the location. Google Maps and Grab do not link directly to the villa, and there are two listings named “Bali Villa Kampot” on the Grab app. If you select the wrong one, you may end up dropped off in a very remote area. It took me some time to figure this out. That said, the staff service is excellent—so warm and helpful that it quickly makes you forget about the transportation inconvenience. Their hospitality really stands out and enhances the overall experience.

The receptionist was very busy because it was a public holiday in Cambodia. Yet they managed to organised their thoughts and be very hospitable despite so many requests. The room is big enough for our stay and with the door closed, no noise heard from outside.

Very idyllic, not hot at night, no air conditioning in the house, there is a fan, it is very comfortable to sleep with a fan, next to the hotel is the Gomboo River, you can row your own boat, very comfortable, many European and American passengers live here. It is worth a holiday! I hope my evaluation can help you!
