Staying in Nuodeng was truly one of the highlights of our one-month journey through China. The house is perfectly located, right next to the few charming restaurants and cafés of the village, and offers breathtaking views over the valley and the ancient rooftops of Nuodeng. What made this stay unforgettable, however, were the incredible hosts. Their kindness, daily attentions, and constant smiles touched our hearts deeply. Our children absolutely loved spending time with them, and it felt like being welcomed into a family rather than simply renting a room. The rooms themselves are beautifully arranged and practical, with different options to suit families or groups of all sizes. Everything was thoughtfully prepared to make our stay as comfortable as possible. If I have to find faults, there are two points: First, the sound insulation is not very good, but the boss said that basically all B&Bs in the village have poor sound insulation. Second, the curtains in the room do not block light, so it is difficult to sleep in when it is dawn. However, in the village, there are all kinds of natural sounds such as birds chirping, horse hooves, and camel bells at dawn, so it is difficult to sleep in, so the shortcomings can be ignored. We love this homestay with its immaculate gardens and views. Very relaxing setting and excellent food in the inhouse restaurant. There is even a barista cafe within the homestay. Host has keen eyes for details… heated toilet bowls, mist generators, controllable temperature shower, tea/coffee maker.

The B&B is about 400 meters away from the parking lot, halfway up the mountain. Compared to those B&Bs on the mountain, you don’t have to climb too high! If you don't have any large luggage, you don't need a groom to carry your luggage. The boss is very nice and is eager to answer questions. The food cooked by the proprietress is delicious and not expensive. This time we stayed in the Starry Sky Room, where we could have watched the stars in the room, but because there were a lot of clouds, we could only see some stars and the moon, but it was still special. The rest space on the top floor is very good. You can see the scenery of the ancient town and watch the stars and the moon at night. Worth recommending.

It's so hot in Yunlong, but the air conditioner can only be turned on at 7 o'clock. It's terrible. It's the first time I stayed in a hotel where the corridors were not lit. They had to be turned on at night. The lighting on the floor was not good. The corridors were dark. I was impressed If old-fashioned hotels are complacent and don't make progress, they will only be washed up on the beach by the waves. This is the only hotel I stayed in during my trip that required a deposit and room inspection. It's 2024 now. I hope hotels can keep up with the times and not be the remnants of the old times.

The room is big enough and fully equipped. The bedding is clean and tidy. The bathroom is dry and wet. The toiletries are complete. The off-season stay is very good, the people are very quiet. The other restaurant at the door is also very convenient for eating. The only downside that is not a disadvantage is that the inn is at the highest point of the village. It's very tired to climb up from the parking lot. If there is a lot of luggage, you must ask the camel horse to pull the luggage up.

The rooms in the hometown of the mountains are clean and hygienic, and there is electric heating in winter, which will not be cold. There are fewer rooms in the B&B, there are three rooms, there are fewer guests, and it is very quiet compared to other B&Bs. There is its own small courtyard where you can drink tea and enjoy the moon. Guests who drive can park their cars in the village entrance parking lot, and the store owner will arrange donkeys to the parking lot to transport guests' luggage in. The location of the hometown in the mountains is also very good, very close to the big green tree, you can walk in a few minutes! The store service is also very good, responsive!
