I had a truly immersive weekend in Nuodeng. I stayed at a guesthouse in Gujingjianshan, a village in Nuodeng where goods are still transported by mules. The facilities there are comparable to guesthouses costing two or three thousand yuan in Dali Old Town, and the service was incredibly attentive. They even delivered a large bottle of contact lens solution in the middle of the night – something you might not even get in Dali! I also met Xiaoxi and her family, who were also there for the weekend. We played cards with their baby, Zhouzhou, in the evening 🃏 and stargazed together on the terrace before bed. The food in Nuodeng is much tastier, with better ingredients than in Dali. The meal consisted of stir-fried green peppers and ham, steamed sausage, and stir-fried chayote tips—so delicious it made my eyebrows fall off! I got up early to take a walk around the village, then came back for breakfast. Breakfast was rice noodles—they're not as thin as these in Dali—served with large blueberries and small, soft kiwis; the highland fruits were truly delicious. The guesthouse was piled high with new books. I spent the morning sunbathing, finishing Lyndon B. Linden's autobiography, *Searching for My Hometown in China*, which brought the characters to life. I casually flipped through Tagore's *Stray Birds*: ”Let this be my conclusion: I believe in your love.”

When entering Nuodeng Village, you must climb a mountain. Fortunately, the B&B is halfway up the mountain. The landlady told us in advance that we needed mules to get all the food, so we didn’t bring much with us. The viewing balcony is very beautiful. You can not only enjoy the warm sun, but also see the houses at the bottom of the mountain. You can see the stars when you look up at night. The location is perfect. The room is fully equipped with hot water and electric blankets. The proprietress was very enthusiastic and treated us to a fire and grilled meat. The proprietress is also very good at her craftsmanship. The aroma of the bone soup fills the courtyard, and the roasted meat tastes amazing. My mother usually doesn’t like meat, so she ate several pieces that night. We made a reservation for breakfast with the proprietress, and the bait silk was the best we had ever eaten in Yunnan, and it was delicious. The lady boss happened to be marinating meat when we went there, and she shared with us tips on how to marinate meat. We were also impressed by the craftsmanship of the lady boss, and cut off the bacon she was going to keep for ourselves. It smelled super fragrant through the bag. .

過年期間入住該民宿，衝著原生態的風景及去有風的地方取景地，也在小紅書上做了很多攻略，選擇在該民宿入住兩晚，就是想深度體驗，但是整體服務不盡如人意，主要問題如下： 1.該民宿在山裡，交通非常不方便，出入衹能開車，無論從沙溪還是大理開到民宿要單程四個多小時，從最近雲龍縣開車單程到民宿要一個半小時，且99%都為山路，車非常難開，山路信號不好，民宿物資匱乏，除了村民種菜之外估計其餘全靠外部運輸，晚上想吃中餐必須提前預訂，這點可以理解； 2.民宿沒有專業的服務人員（平時人員配備如何不清楚，過年期間入住的客人很少，僅有兩個當地村民提供服務），床單換洗不夠乾淨，浴巾不及時更換，可以理解為過年人手不夠，臨時拉當地村民沒有受過專業培訓，沒有太多的服務可言，看在村民很質樸的份上，這些也都是小事； 3.咖啡店裡沒有空調，衹有一台老舊的小型取暖器，山裡風很大，在咖啡館裏吃早飯和晚飯都超級冷，取暖器一開全被民宿的貓佔領，過年期間民宿老闆不在店裡，在山裡露營太陽落山起碼生個火爐吧，服務人員由於第2點，也意識不到入住的客人是否嫌冷； 4.店裡的幾衹貓是散養狀態，在咖啡店裡喝咖啡吃飯時貓咪就在身邊跑跳（類似貓咖），雖然很親近人類，但是是否打過疫苗驅過蟲無法確認另待證明，此外咖啡館周圍就是一大片草地，村民在此牧牛，草地裏到處是牛糞和狗尿，衞生條件堪憂，小貓就在草地上到處跑，民宿老闆也未曾給小貓修剪指甲，我老公的腿被小貓抓破（小貓粘人喜歡扒腿，指甲過長鈎在我老公褲子上拿都拿不下來，因此抓傷），為安全起見去縣醫院打疫苗，民宿老闆安排了半天衹發了個縣醫院定位（一開始民宿老闆給的方案更離譜，説衹能去大理下關區的醫院），連個陪同人員也沒想着安排，這也就算了，最後我們自己開車來回三小時，去醫院打疫苗兩小時，一天的時間基本浪費； 5.由於第4點的意外，我們當天吃早餐時跟工作人員訂了晚上6點當地村民的晚餐，工作人員以“看我們白天去打疫苗了，下午沒看見我們回來”為由，就沒給我們預訂晚餐，基於第1點和第2點所述的背景，民宿老闆給的補救方案是：吃飯時間從晚上6點改到7點半，或者跟別的住客拼桌，我們花一天的時間去打疫苗午飯都沒吃上餓了一天，要麼繼續捱餓一個半小時，要麼拼桌我們是多吃還是少吃？還是讓別的入住客人晚上都吃不飽？整個補救方案就是一整個離譜； 6.基於上述5點，我建議是，花七八百住一晚來這裏露營想感受原生態風景，不在乎民宿服務水平的，可以來，但是務必遠離貓和牛羣（動物與人之間沒有隔離，安全隱患很大，出了意外去縣醫院都費勁），就算你想玩貓也請在咖啡店裡有監控的地方玩，以免有理説不清，否則就得像本人一樣花了1300住兩晚的深度體驗，變成雲龍縣人民醫院深度遊及s彎開車訓練，還連頓像樣的飯菜都吃不到； 7.就過年期間民宿接待客人的水平可以看出，民宿整體服務水平還有很大需要提升的地方，否則都不知道除了風景好原生態以外，還能誇什麼了。

The inn is near a big green tree, and there is a small green tree at the door. Because of its high location, the scenery is also very beautiful. The early morning sun shines into the restaurant. I take photos facing the sun at a table facing the road. The light and scenery are really great. The room is decorated in a warm and artistic style. The bathroom is designed to be separated into three parts. The facilities in the room are complete, and the bedding and bathroom are particularly clean, making people feel comfortable, at ease and warm. Especially their Nuodeng raw ham, which has a strong aroma of cured meat and just the right amount of saltiness, leaving you with an endless aftertaste. The Western breakfast is also very distinctive, with crispy toast and a unique flavor when paired with Nuodeng ham. Black coffee is blended with coconut water, giving it a unique aroma and taste. They also have a group of very friendly and cute furry children at home, including a pastoral dog named Xiaohua, who has shiny and soft fur; and three very clingy cats, Dabai, Erbai and Lili. In short, after staying in so many B&Bs, this is my favorite and the most comfortable one!

A very unforgettable trip. Initially, I planned to stay in Nuodeng for just one night, but I decided to extend it for another night when I arrived at the hotel. The proprietress cooks delicious food, and the dog in the store is also very cute. Her eyes are watery (but she was injured on the day before leaving🤕️I don’t know if she is feeling better now). The room is very clean, and it beats everything else on this trip to Yunnan. stay. Even those who are mysophobic admire how clean it is! I will stay here again when I come to Nuodeng in the future.

We love this homestay with its immaculate gardens and views. Very relaxing setting and excellent food in the inhouse restaurant. There is even a barista cafe within the homestay. Host has keen eyes for details… heated toilet bowls, mist generators, controllable temperature shower, tea/coffee maker.

Satisfaction beyond expectations, the whole is very new and there is no smell. The bedding is comfortable and the bathroom is large. There is a parking location in front of the door, which is convenient for self-driving. The boss is warm and kind. It is about 20 minutes from the parking lot of the Nuodeng Ancient Village Visitor Center. It is a good choice not to live in the ancient village. It is highly recommended.

The hotel is located on the bank of the Binjiang River. It is an old hotel with a large parking lot. The room was also very clean and quiet. The receptionist was very friendly, but it was a long way from the parking lot to the reception desk in the lobby. Breakfast was ok.

The room design is good. Clean and hygienic. It is a traditional Bai yard, I like it very much. There are flowers, trees, courtyards, and sun sheds. Very suitable for a quiet daze in leisure. The room is big enough and fully equipped. The bedding is clean and tidy. The bathroom is dry and wet. The toiletries are complete. The off-season stay is very good, the people are very quiet. The other restaurant at the door is also very convenient for eating. The only downside that is not a disadvantage is that the inn is at the highest point of the village. It's very tired to climb up from the parking lot. If there is a lot of luggage, you must ask the camel horse to pull the luggage up.

The rooms in the hometown of the mountains are clean and hygienic, and there is electric heating in winter, which will not be cold. There are fewer rooms in the B&B, there are three rooms, there are fewer guests, and it is very quiet compared to other B&Bs. There is its own small courtyard where you can drink tea and enjoy the moon. Guests who drive can park their cars in the village entrance parking lot, and the store owner will arrange donkeys to the parking lot to transport guests' luggage in. The location of the hometown in the mountains is also very good, very close to the big green tree, you can walk in a few minutes! The store service is also very good, responsive!
