Environment: The location is exceptional, offering panoramic views of the terraced fields. However, the road leading into the village is quite steep and winding, with sharp turns, so drivers need to be extra careful. Service: Extremely satisfied with the service. The staff members are all very genuine and hospitable, making you feel right at home. The red rice chicken soup rice noodles for breakfast were delicious, and the coffee was also excellent. Don't miss their hot pot tea experience or their restaurant, where the dipping sauce chicken is absolutely scrumptious!😋 Already looking forward to my next visit!

The location of the hotel is invincible and it is really amazing, especially each room has its own unique design. I want to live. I have no choice but to limit the itinerary. I have two nights! Next time you must come for a few more days, each room will live. Hotel butler Xiaohuang service is very intimate, especially he is a local, the recommended route is very good! Highly, highly recommended! The room facilities are complete, and the air conditioning is very effective, keeping it perfectly warm – there's even an electric blanket. The owner is incredibly friendly, helping us book transportation and arrange a sunset viewing. The food was also delicious. We even got to see the Hani intangible cultural heritage water pipe tobacco. The location is excellent too; you can walk to Azheke Village, the Blue Terraces, and Hadaipu Terraces.

You have to park quite a distance from the hotel, and two ladies came to carry all of our bags - they were amazingly strong. As we approached the hotel I did wonder what it was going to be like - it's not very smart outside at all. Checking in was very easy. Our rooms were really nice with the most amazing view of the rice terraces. There were chairs on the balcony and two little sofas just inside. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fine for our Chinese friends, a bit basic for westerners. We had a great stay in the area and were lucky with a lovely sunrise on the first morning.

Service: My tire pressure kept going off, so I called the owner to ask where I could get a tire repaired. He gave me two directions. We were turned away at the first one in Shengcun (it was closed). We were about to head down the mountain to the old county town when we saw another one at the exit of a one-way street and got the air in. After driving to the private parking lot, we called the B&B to come and help us with our luggage. A Hani woman swiftly carried our 17kg suitcase. The owner was gentle and versatile. Since it was raining, we decided to eat at the B&B. She prepared stir-fried chicken, a mushroom omelet, beetroot egg drop soup, and garlic chayote flowers, and even gave us fried peanuts to go with our drinks. Facilities: The room amenities were excellent, with Kohler bathroom fixtures. The only downside was the lack of a curtain around the toilet. Environment: The view of the terraced rice fields couldn't be better! I could sit on the balcony and watch the sea of ​​clouds. There's even a phone holder on the railing for time-lapse photography—a really thoughtful touch. It's about a ten-minute walk from the Duoyishu Observation Deck. Unfortunately, it rained both days we stayed there, so we didn't get to see either sunrise or sunset. There's a local dog named Guolai in the shop. He's so well-behaved, but he's trying to lose weight.

The room was very spacious and clean, with down comforters. The owner must have had it designed; the decor and quality were excellent. The food in the cafeteria was especially delicious. Although there were trendy restaurants nearby, we chose to eat at the guesthouse, and it was definitely the right choice. The ingredients were good, and the food tasted great. I glanced at the kitchen, and it was very clean and reassuring. The owner and head chef were very down-to-earth, which was reassuring. The hotel is about a ten-minute walk from the Duoyishu viewing platform, which conveniently avoids the traffic congestion, and it's also closer to the sea of ​​clouds. The sea of ​​clouds in the picture was seen about 200 meters away from Duoyishu from the guesthouse; there was no sea of ​​clouds at Duoyishu that day.

The inn is located in a quiet village in Duoyishu. Location was good - about 15 to 20 mins walk from Duoiyishu terrace viewing platform, and there was a small restaurant near the inn. The Hani caretaker was hospitable and showed me the way to get to the terrace fields in the village. It was so wonderful being able to get so close to the rice terraces! Here, you could view the sunrise without having to pay the 70yuan charged at the viewing platforms. Do note that the 70 yuan ticket allows access to the other viewing platforms as well, and is good for 72 hours. I had a free upgrade to a bigger room with large windows and a view. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable with an electric blanket. Owner is fluent in both Chinese and English, and was helpful in arranging my transport and giving advice on the sunrise viewing spots. I have beautiful memories of my stay in Duoyishu, would like to come back again!

The hotel is architecturally beautiful, with a good location that offers some view of the terraces. However, due to unkempt vegetation, majority of the promised views have become obscured. Can still walk to the nearby public viewing platform 200m away for a better view. Service crew is prompt and tries to be as accommodating as possible. Have to understand that Yuanyang itself is a remote rural area with few buildings. For meals, there is no food delivery unlike other touristy areas. But, the hotel kitchen whips up very satisfying home cooked menu using fresh produce at an affordable price. We enjoyed the crispest and most delicious plate of stir fried cabbages here. More on the food, they do less oil less salt options that are still incredibly tasty and easier on a foreigner palette. Breakfast was simple and tried to focus on natural flavours of the produce, also meaning it had toddler friendly options.

The hotel is easily accessible by local taxi. The view from the room with its large windows was beautiful. You can see a few houses, but also the mountains and the ever-changing weather in this region. The room itself is well furnished, and the bed was clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and tried to help me. There's also a restaurant right in the hotel, and my special requests (meat-free meals) were accommodated. Thank you for this wonderful hospitality. A hotel that I highly recommend.

The room was very clean, with an electric blanket and fireplace for those cold days. The owner's conversation spoke volumes, revealing a cultured person. Curious, I asked, and it turned out he resigned from CCTV 20 years ago and secluded himself in the mountains, eventually turning his home into a B&B. I also saw this B&B on ***********. The owner must speak good English, as it's impossible to find the B&B without calling the owner. My son commented on the owner's hospitality, saying it was a must-see for kids. Unfortunately, it was foggy that morning, so we didn't get to see the beautiful sunrise, but that didn't affect the B&B's rating.
