This time, we took the kids and stayed in a heated kang room. It was my children's first time experiencing a traditional東北 (Dongbei) heated kang, and they found it very warm, quite different from sleeping on a regular bed. It's firmer than a bed but exceptionally warm, and the room itself was very toasty. The owner was really hospitable.
