I never expected that a randomly chosen guesthouse would be such a great find! For this price, the room is amazing value for money, giving me a fantastic first impression of Weishan. The light in Youguang Courtyard is a heartwarming and healing light—the courtyard is filled with greenery, making you feel relaxed as soon as you step inside. It's very close to the old town and the train station, a truly comfortable little courtyard! The landlady is very gentle and attentive. She carefully showed us around the rooms, taught us how to adjust the water temperature and heating, and since we came during the off-season, she upgraded us to a room with a sun-drenched balcony. We could sunbathe, read, or drink tea on the balcony in the morning…! Every evening, the landlady thoughtfully asked if we wanted some hot milk, and breakfast was provided in the morning (unfortunately, we were on a very busy schedule, haha)~ We'll definitely come back next time!! Just relaxing and sunbathing at the hotel~

Sanitized towels are delivered daily in sealed bags and CGTN for foreign guests is available on a huge TV! Yuan Chuang Yi Su's owner is a Mensch. His fluency in English and passion for his adopted town enriched our China trip. He sensed my vegetarian needs and whisked me off to the local market! Yuan Chuang Yi Su is the smartest, but the least expensive of our 28 day trip in Guangdong - Yunnan. We relished the smart set-up, the gleaming interior and delightful neighborhood of eateries. The hotel is truly a train-rider's dream: just 25 minute walk away from Weishan Railway station and 5 minutes from the inexpensive tourist buses that take you as far as Weibaoshan and East Lotus Village.
