Mountain view Hotels in Shangluo

One of the most bizarre hotels I've ever stayed in. Right after check-in, the front desk repeatedly told us that as foreign nationals, we could only stay one day, repeating this several times. After showering and picking up a towel, I noticed a strange smell. Upon closer inspection, I realized it was due to a leak under the sink. I contacted the front desk, and their phone was incredibly sticky. I spoke to them on speakerphone, and they immediately arranged for staff to come. Later, they offered to change our room, but only to a room at the far end of the east side. We were worried about the heat, so we declined. In short, my stay was extremely unpleasant. The next morning at 8 AM, they called and asked us to come downstairs to show our ID cards, probably because of a police requirement. I happened to run into a manager and told him about my poor experience. His conclusion was to blame housekeeping. I believe the problem stems from staff shortages. The same housekeeper came several times that day to help clean up the stains left by the plumbing repairs. They were working very hard, and I don't understand why the company would directly blame the frontline staff. I hope management will seriously consider this complaint, as it appears to be a staff shortage. Everyone was busy with their own tasks and constantly interrupted by phone calls (front desk, housekeeping, and engineering staff all experienced this). Frontline staff only have one life and two hands; how can they be expected to perform the work of three people? Please reflect on this. Thank you.

The room was clean and the experience was very good. I first arrived in Shanyang and stayed for five days. My friends and I feel very good. The mountain view room has good air, elevators, air conditioning, and the store is not big, but the room is very good and the experience is known.

Transportation is very convenient. There's free parking in the city, about 50 meters from the hotel, just past a traffic light. However, the room we booked had an LED display outside the window, effectively eliminating the need for windows. At night, the light from the display shone through the top of the curtains, disrupting my sleep. The room details didn't mention this issue. Oh, and we booked a tatami room; I'm not sure if this applies to other room types. Overall, the hotel was good, and the bread from the bakery downstairs was delicious. The front desk service was also very good and friendly.

The drive from Lantian to Shangnan was incredibly scenic. The hotel was in a great location with easy parking, the room was quiet, and the view from the window was beautiful. The hotel was clean, and the receptionist was very welcoming. It was a bit chilly in Shangnan, but the individual air conditioning worked quite well. It took about half an hour to drive from the Jinshixia Scenic Area to the hotel, making it very cost-effective. I was really satisfied with the trip. I forgot to take pictures of the hotel, so I'll just share some of the beautiful scenery along the way!

The hotel reception is on the 4th floor, and guest rooms are on floors 5-10. There are practically no parking spaces in front of the hotel (only a handful), and getting in and out is inconvenient. Before booking, I contacted the hotel to ask about parking availability, and they replied that it wasn't a problem. However, upon arrival, I discovered how scarce parking was. I contacted the hotel again, and they told me about the underground parking lot 300 meters away, but I could only park in the hotel's designated parking spaces. The hotel security guard said there should be four spaces left, and after searching for a while, I finally found the last one – very lucky, but the space was quite narrow. Most guests were driving and were concerned about parking; the front desk seemed to be constantly dealing with related issues. The hotel rooms are small and cramped. The facilities are rather outdated; the hand soap dispenser was non-dispensable, and only disposable towels and bath towels were provided. There is no telephone; you need to add the front desk on WeChat for any issues. They said the hotel only has one floor attendant, so service is relatively slow. There's a bottle of mineral water in the room for a fee, requiring a 100 yuan deposit, even though I had already paid for the room. However, the service attitude was quite good.

I have chosen this hotel many times when I come to Zhen'an. The location is good, standing at the entrance of the hotel overlooking Zhen'an City, the hotel is located on the edge of Xiuping Park and has a beautiful environment. Hotel facilities are very good, small service is first class. There is a lounge in the lobby, a reading area on the second floor, a leisure tea bar on the third floor, and a photo service on the first floor. When booking, the front desk will also give a small gift 🎁 The room we booked enjoyed a free upgrade and late check-out. Hotel breakfast is good. There is free parking (three places), and the parking lot on the mountainside can directly enter the hotel lobby. The hotel also has a health rental service! In short, you will definitely get a great value living experience when you choose Juxiu Mountain Villa Hotel.

Our family trip departed from Xi'an at 3 PM for Jinsi Gorge. We wanted a nice place to stay the day before, so we stopped by Dihua Ancient Town. We were so disappointed with the town's run-down state that we were completely devastated! Since there were many B&Bs near Jinsi Gorge, and we were worried about mosquito bites with our children, we decided to stay at this Danfeng hotel. The moment we opened the door, our mood brightened. The following photos were all taken by me at 7 AM! The hotel facilities were excellent, clean, and the breakfast was plentiful. It's a truly worthwhile garden-style hotel!

I still like the style of this hotel very much. It is retro Tang style. The murals are beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable. The facilities and equipment are also very detailed. For example, the mosquito repellent liquid and the towels and bedding in the bathroom are very clean and white. The room is very comfortable in summer. It's great to have a refrigerator, which can keep drinks cold. The hotel's Internet speed is very good, and Xiaodu is also very fun, so you can chat. The overall feeling is very good, and it is worth recommending!

The overall environment of Tianlu Hotel in Shangnan County has been widely praised, but the quality of breakfast has become an obvious shortcoming in the guests' experience. In terms of the environment, the hotel is located on the southwest side of Shangnan Cultural Square, with convenient surrounding transportation and a garden-style design. The guest rooms are spacious and equipped with independent balconies. Some room types offer quiet garden or mountain views. When checking in, you can also walk through the corridor to experience the courtyard landscape. The overall atmosphere is elegant and comfortable. In addition, the hotel has complete facilities, including a spa, gym, tennis courts, etc. Free parking and Wi-Fi are also provided in public areas, which is suitable for self-driving tourists or business people to relax. However, the breakfast experience has been repeatedly criticized. Although the hotel advertises that it has a rich breakfast variety, actual guests reported that the dishes were monotonous and in short supply, especially during peak hours (such as after 8 o'clock) where there might be ”leftovers”. One guest even mentioned that ”there was not much left when we arrived at 8:40”. The breakfast content was evaluated as ”not refined enough”, which was inconsistent with the hotel's four-star positioning, and the buffet at 30 yuan per person was not cost-effective. In addition, there are problems with service details. For example, some guests believe that the attitude of the front desk staff is not professional enough and does not match the hotel's high-end image.

There are not many houses around and the environment is very quiet. You can pick chestnuts if you go up the mountain. There is a stream next to it where you can catch small fish. It is very fun to take the children to play. The housekeeper Wang Ke also provides good service and is always responsive to requests. The meals cooked by the aunt are large and delicious. I highly recommend families who want to escape from the world to come here and experience the tranquility of nature. The only bad part is the last ten minutes or so of the mountain road. The road surface is uneven due to construction vehicles, and it is difficult to pass by large trucks. It is probably ok if you drive slowly. Will consider staying here again...
