We received a warm welcome from the host. The location is perfect as it's a couple minute walk to the Kenting Express Bus stop and our day tour pickup point. The building is a short walk to Kenting's Main Street so the setting is quieter and nicer than many of its competitors. The room is very clean. Last but not the least, the breakfast is fantastic. It's freshly cooked, healthy, and the food appears to be locally sourced. Overall it was a pleasant and great stay at MaMaLuLu.

This time, we stayed in a quad room on the first floor. It was very spacious and comfortable, with a huge bathtub in the bathroom and a separate wet and dry area. In the common area, the owner stocked up on tons of instant noodles, snacks, drinks, and ice for everyone to enjoy – you definitely won't go hungry! The surrounding environment is lovely and very quiet. You can walk to 7-Eleven, and there's a delicious BBQ stall right across the street. During the day, it's super convenient to head over to the beach, and when you get back, there's a foot-washing area outside the guesthouse. It's also a short drive to the main street, and there's a dedicated parking lot. The owners are incredibly enthusiastic and friendly. Highly recommended!

The location is super convenient. It only takes three minutes to walk after getting off at the Kenting Police Station. And when I opened the door after checking in, the inside was much better than expected~~ The space is large, the sound insulation is good, and it's very clean ~ I really recommend staying here. Kenting Street is right downstairs. If you are hungry at night, it is convenient to go there and buy a late-night snack.

We got ourselves a nice spacious room in a small hotel, with a small balcony facing the sea. The only problem with the hotel is that it doesn’t have a lift. So you’d have to lug your baggage up, depending on which floor you are on. We stayed on the third floor, so it wasn’t that bad. The hotel is in a very convenient location, only 10-15 mins away from Kenting night market, or Heng Chun. It’s also 1-2 mins away from the shore, where you can try out multiple water activities like Jet Skiing, riding on banana boats, rent parasols and chairs etc. there’s also a 7-eleven a stone’s throw away. If you’re heading to the beach, you’ll need to bring your own towels as the hotel doesn’t allow their towels to be brought out, and there isn’t any for rental at the hotel itself. Service was really good! The staff were really helpful in providing information on how to get around, using ubikes, and info on what time the buses come etc. The best thing about the place is that it’s near a bus stop that services direct express buses to Zuoying HSR station, which made it all the more easier to travel to Kaohsiung if needed. All in all, it was a really enjoyable stay. Easily one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at for our trip! Thank you for having us, would love to stay with you again if we ever visit another time.

Hotel Review (Accessibility & Safety Concerns): The location of this hotel is very convenient — it is close to the beach and within walking distance to the night market, which is definitely a plus. However, overall my stay was not very comfortable. Inside the room, the floor is not completely even. While it may not seem like a big issue at first, it could easily become a tripping hazard, especially for older guests or anyone not paying close attention. The bathroom is also not separated into dry and wet areas, which makes it more slippery and less convenient to use. Another important point is that the hotel does not have an elevator. Carrying luggage up and down the stairs can be quite inconvenient, particularly for elderly guests or those with heavy bags. Although the interior design may look quite stylish or luxurious at first glance, in reality it feels impractical and raises safety concerns. There are other small details as well, but I will not go into them here. I understand that different properties have their own limitations, and I am sharing this from a personal perspective. I hope this information can be helpful for future travelers when making their decision.

Five stars, no doubt! I took a bus to Kenting alone at night, and because I wasn't familiar with the route, I got off a few kilometers early and couldn't find a taxi. I called the host, and she was incredibly thoughtful, driving to pick me up and take me to the hotel – she was a lifesaver! The place is spotless; even during the plum rain season when there were lots of bugs flying outside, I didn't find a single one inside. The bathtub is huge, perfect for a relaxing soak. The tatami mat was cozy and ideal for lounging alone. The two best nights of sleep I had my entire trip were here. It was also very quiet at night. On the morning I was leaving, I went to check out the beach before heading to catch my bus, and when I came back, my clothes were soaking wet. I was actually going to leave them as they were, thinking they'd dry in half a day, and I had already checked out. But the cleaning lady was super concerned and insisted I change clothes before leaving, even offering a shower if I was cold, stressing that I absolutely couldn't catch a cold. After I changed, she gave me a plastic bag for my wet clothes. I was genuinely moved to tears. Then, fearing I'd get rained on walking to the station, she gave me an umbrella and put a plastic bag over my backpack. I will definitely book this place again when the weather is good, even if it's just to see the host and the cleaning lady again. I hope the host and the cleaning lady have smooth sailing in life and that their business continues to thrive!

Just across the street is the beach, and the place is beautifully designed, clean, and comfortable, with a great location near the aquarium. Breakfast was simple and nice with sandwiches. The owner is extremely kind and helpful. We arrived late and nearby restaurants were closed, but the owner kindly helped order seafood dinner from a local restaurant for us — and it was delicious. A truly warm and lovely place to stay.
