I booked a cozy family room. It was very clean and tidy. The room equipment was very new. The landlady was super nice. I could communicate with you anytime if you had any needs. She was also good at craftsmanship. I had dumplings made by the landlady for breakfast. You can order in advance according to the menu for dinner. It was very delicious. ! There is also a little fat wolfdog in the yard, who is very well-behaved. There are many cats (I saw three big black cats, three small black cats, a small orange, and a tabby cat), all of which are well taken care of and very cute. La! Very satisfied with the accommodation experience. I will choose here again next time I come to Ningguo.

Before we went, I asked if there was a stream in front of or behind the house for children to play in, and they said there was one (very casually). We went to take a look, carrying our gear. It was a reservoir, I guess. People were fishing—you guessed it! We turned back again! The breakfast left me speechless. 😓 We went downstairs around 7:30 in the morning, and they told us there was nothing left (there were five of us). There was only a small bowl of porridge, a steamed bun, a fried dough stick, a little soy milk, and noodles. No more words~

It was really just average. I saw all the good reviews online when I booked, but the price-performance ratio wasn't high. The courtyard looked like it would be great for photos, but it was just so-so. The rooms were small, with only a small, non-open window in the attic on the second floor, making the overall feeling very cramped and poorly ventilated. The air conditioning was practically useless this time of year; it was unbearably hot in the attic, but the air didn't reach downstairs, making it freezing, especially at night. The room itself looked reasonably clean, but there were stains on the sheets, and the towels were yellowed and blackened. As for the service, we were told we'd be notified of our dinner reservation, but we didn't receive a notification at the booked time. So we went downstairs to check, only to find the food already cooked and on the table. If we had just waited in the room, the food would probably have been cold by then. The location of the guesthouse is 2 kilometers from the Redwood Forest, which is a bit awkward. Walking is quite a distance due to the mountain roads, but driving near the Redwood Forest is extremely congested. I recommend booking a guesthouse opposite the Redwood Forest scenic area for better access to the forest and to see the morning mist.

The scenery is very good and the overall layout design is good. You can have barbecues, bonfires and fireworks in the evening. Suitable for parent-child, team building, couples, etc. PS: The bathroom had a bit of a smell at first, but the boss was very helpful and came to deal with it in time. I hope the boss will continue to work hard and get better and better!
