It is very close to the main street and the main gate building of Tang'an Dongzhai. It takes a short walk to the flat road and then a short step to get there. We had an incredible stay at the hotel. The location is perfect with incredible views over the fields. It is also 2 minutes walk to the best restaurants and sites of Zhaoxing. The staff was so kind to us, giving us a better room to accommodate us traveling with a baby. They organised all transport in amazing cars and we're always there to help us and give us recommendations on Zhaoxing. They even organised a driver to deliver our forgotten items to the translation after we checked out. The food for breakfast is also fresh and delicious with a lovely view. The rooms are big, luxurious and very new. I recommend this hotel highly to anyone traveling to Zhaoxing, you will not find a better hotel especially with the kinder staff. Thank you so much!

The housekeeper proactively called us before check-in to add us on WeChat, and they responded to messages instantly. They were warm and polite. The pickup vehicle and driver were also waiting on time, providing excellent service. The room was clean and tidy, the bathroom glass door was sparkling, and the view from the window was lovely. The toiletries in the room were comprehensive, all from good brands, and they even provided a disposable bathtub liner, alcohol spray, laundry detergent, and moisturizing spray. The safety measures were also top-notch; it was my first time seeing a room equipped with not only full fire safety facilities but also an escape rope. The breakfast was well-balanced and delicious. Most importantly, the price was affordable, and it's pet-friendly with no extra cleaning fees! I truly hope this generous guesthouse expands and thrives, opening more locations in other places to give pet-owning road trippers like us more options. Please don't let those who try to take advantage and lack manners ruin your spirit. Just a small suggestion: put up two signs at the turn-off for the hotel, and add a few lights on the uphill path, as it's very dark walking back at night and easy to miss which turn it is!

The hotel's location is peaceful yet close to the action. In the morning, you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the village. The service is incredibly nice; the butler and all the staff always greet you warmly, and they even bring coffee and fruit right to your door. It's not just great service, but also very heartwarming, making our trip to Zhaoxing Dong Village truly wonderful. I'll definitely come back next time. I love the hustle and bustle, as well as the tranquility of the village, and I love the people and the scenery here. It's fantastic!

Me and my girlfriend got picked up at Congjiang train station which was very convenient. Right from the start the owners of the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The accomodation is located at the back of the village next to a field where they grow rapeseed flowers and rice during the year. For us the location was perfect as it is very peaceful and quiet but simultaneously litterally a few steps away from the beautiful vibrant little village. The room was very spacious and clean with a gorgeous view on the field. The interior is very well matched and has great facilities. There was even a small laundry machine so we could do some laundry ourselves. So far during our travels in China, this stay was the best we had! There is a very stylish and cute coffee/restaurant located on the first floor of the building. This is also where you will have a delicious breakfast and where Ni Li and her sister will greet you with a smile every time you walk by. Ni Li, her husband Tao Mingqing, her sister and brother played a crucial part during our stay as after the first night my wife got very sick due to an infection and barely left the room during our stay. The second night I got foodpoisoning which made the situation even worse. (Not from the hotel!). We ended up extending our stay due to her condition. Luckily Li's English is very good so that helped us a lot in navigating the medical difficulties. We were extremely lucky to be staying with Li and her family as they took care of us like we were their own family. Preparing custom meals and dinner tailored to our needs every single day, preparing us tea, calling the local doctors and translating and taking us to the local hospital back and forth multiple times. We were there during the Qingming festival so no cars were allowed in the village which made it more difficult to reach the hospital. This didn't stop Tao Mingqing as he took us to the local hospital several times on the motorbike, one by one! The last time I even forgot a bag and he even went back to get it for me! He truly is a legend. Fortunately, my recovery was fairly quickly so I had the chance to explore the village a little by myself and spend time with Li and Ming while staying close to the room for my girlfriend. On day 4 my girlfriend's fever was coming down and she improved a little. Li and Ming invited us to have tea with them. Ming showed me his vast collection of tea and made sure to prepare the best tea suitable for our condition. The tea was truly amazing and he ended up filling a big bag with different kinds of teas as a gift for us! And that was not it, to make sure we would never forget them and drink tea mindfully the Chinese way when we're back home, they gave us the tea cups we used traditionally decorated with the blue dragon and phoenix. It was a very stressful situation and when we felt at our most fragile, they were there to take care of us, strangers they just met. This says everything about these wonderful people. Even though the illness of my girlfriend and the rough situation, we think back to our stay with a very warm hearth as our special experience forged a bond we'll never forget. We are incredibly lucky to have met Li and her family. We have said thank you to them 100s of times already, but I can't express enough how grateful I am for this people. Thank you for taking care of us like your family!!! ＜3 If you are unsure about staying here, there is truly no reason why you shouldn't! Whatever the situation, Li and her family will do everything they can to improve your stay. I'm sure you'll have a blast!

The soundproofing was excellent; we couldn't hear anyone talking outside the window. The owner was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. He picked us up in his car when we arrived and drove us home when we left. On the morning of check-out, my child had a fever, and he drove us to the clinic to get treatment. He even extended our check-out time by an hour. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I would definitely give it a perfect score if any of my friends wanted to go.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this homestay and can recommend it wholeheartedly. From the very beginning, the hospitality was exceptional. The owner picked me up from the railway station, which was included in the price. Even more impressively, they also drove me back to the station when I left, completely free of charge and purely out of kindness. When I realized that I had accidentally booked a room with a tatami mattress that was too firm for my liking, they immediately offered me an upgrade to a different room for free. The owner went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable throughout my stay. She provided all the information I needed, was always happy to help and even invited me to join them for a meal. Her English is excellent, which made communication effortless and made me feel especially welcome as an international traveler. The homestay itself was clean, comfortable and well-equipped, but what truly sets this place apart is the warmth, kindness and generosity of the hosts. They made me feel less like a customer and more like a guest in their home. Thank you for such a memorable experience. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Wonderful homestay with all comforts. Modern amenities great wifi and close to centre but quiet. Excellent host who tried her best to communicate and make us feel comfortable. Great coffeshop on road nearby whose owner has perfect English ( and great coffee) who was a mine of information on local places to visit.

It was already late when we arrived at the Dong Village. A friend recommended this B&B to me. She said the owner was very nice. The B&B was inside the village and the environment was very nice and clean. When you book a room, they also give you clothes for taking photos and handmade cards. Unfortunately, we were in a hurry to go home and didn't have time to do any handicrafts.

I read the reviews and said it was very good. After coming here, I was not disappointed. A hotel with a very artistic feel and ethnic characteristics. Seeing that I had a big boy with me, the landlady upgraded us to a double room, loft, and tatami for free. The child was very happy to live upstairs. The proprietress is very nice. Entry and exit are prohibited in the village at 19 o'clock. We got off the high-speed train a little late and could not pick up the car. When we left, the village issued new regulations that did not allow us to pick up tourists. The proprietress found a car to take us off with her own money. She told us along the way to contact us at any time. , give the boss lady a thumbs up!
