Mountain view Hotels in Heishui

After visiting Dagu Glacier with friends, I opened Ctrip and saw this Gar Manor B&B. It is close to the scenic area, but the road up the mountain is a bit tortuous, a winding mountain road. Fortunately, the road surface is all asphalt and relatively spacious, not as difficult to drive as imagined. Although it is the rainy season these days, I didn’t expect the clouds in the mountains to be very beautiful, so it was not a wasted trip. The hygiene in the hotel can be said to be very attentive, and even those who are a little bit obsessed with cleanliness can be satisfied. Then the most impressive thing is the service of the housekeepers. They were very proactive in receiving us, and even their enthusiasm made us a little embarrassed. I heard that Heishui will be more beautiful in the golden autumn season, and I will come here to stay and experience it then.

The hotel is nicely decorated and clean. We loved the big windows and view. Beds are comfortable and the owners are nice. It's located up a hill, and they don't have a restaurant, so if you don't have a car and want to eat dinner, it's difficult to walk back up. I booked this hotel because they have a room with a big hot tub. But it was a big disappointment. The water source for this tub is a kitchen type faucet, which does not work for a big tub. It took hours just to fill one-fourth of it, and water coming out was not hot enough. And even if it were hot enough, the hours that it will take to fill the tub would eventually make the water cold. It was too late that we realized this so we ended up not using it. There were a lot of things wrong with this tub. When you want to soak in a hot tub, it would only take a few minutes before the water turns cold, so you would want to drain some water, and refill with hot water several times. But clearly with the type of faucet they put there, that was impossible. Another thing, when we were eating our breakfast, the owner was smoking in the next table.

New hotel, very clean. The electric toilet seat is heated and comfortable to use, with a bidet function! 😆 The room is very spacious. However, there's no air conditioning, fridge, or bath mat (which is fine, I can live with it, haha). The staff at reception were great and even drove me back when I checked out. Don't expect much from breakfast, you get a boiled egg. But for me, that's enough to get by.

I genuinely recommend this ******* guesthouse in Heishui – you won't be disappointed! The surroundings are absolutely stunning, with mountains on three sides and fresh air. It's cool and a great escape from the summer heat, and in autumn, the colorful forests are breathtaking. The rooms are authentically decorated in ******* style, clean, and very comfortable. The owner is incredibly nice, warm, and accommodating – always ready to help. The ******* food they make is absolutely delicious, and the value for money is outstanding. It’s the perfect place to stay if you're visiting Dagu Glacier. My experience here was fantastic, and I’ve already recommended it to my friends!

The location was nice, it was easy to find and there were many restaurants nearby. We booked for 3 rooms with twin bed, once arrived the hotel, the receptionist greeted us with Thai word “Sawasdee krab” that was so kind and touched our mind. He provided us more information with Thai translation and made us more understanding. The room was clean, big size high ceiling and well prepared. There was electricity blankets provided so we all slept well and charged the energy for the next day. It was nice to have a chance to stay in this lovely hotel!!!

This is my first review, and it's completely honest. This is the best hotel I've stayed at during my travels here. The front desk lady was incredibly enthusiastic; whenever I had a problem, I liked to go to her, and she always helped. It was a very satisfying stay. The lobby is spacious, the environment is great, the front desk service is excellent, and check-in was fast. The room facilities are complete, the bed is very comfortable, and the room has smart controls. They even offered a free late check-out, which was really nice. It's a fantastic hotel. They also gave a free bottle of mineral water upon check-in. The room is spacious, well-lit, bright, and fully equipped. The front desk service is exceptional, and breakfast is also great. There's free parking, and it's very convenient for getting around. Highly recommend!

Traveling solo to Dagu Glacier, the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and even invited me to try some yak jerky. The room was exceptionally clean, and after I booked, they had already turned on the air conditioning and floor heating, making it super cozy. I drive an electric car, and there's a charging station less than 20 meters from the entrance, which is incredibly convenient for long-distance electric vehicle trips.

Comfortable and cozy room with Japanese-style decorations. I especially love the heated bed topper. The hotel staff, which we think is also the owner, is really nice and friendly. It is a little far from Heishui downtown, but there was nothing to do in town at night anyway, so no issue there. Having said that the hotel is not close to Heishui city, the staff offered to bring us dinner, so eating was not an issue. The hotel is located close to Dagu Glacier with around 5-min taxi ride. Highly recommended

This place is a one of a kind stay, if you've never been to China, this stay will put you in awe. This stay is more if a homestay owned by families. Rich with ******* heritage and hospitality. We were quite surprised that they said to just go upstairs and choose any room we liked 🤣. We really enjoyed our stay although the amenities were quite lacking but just enough. At night we were asking the owner if there is any nearby convenience store to buy some snacks but all stores were closed at the time. But the very kind uncle (owner) invited us to walk with him to his friend's store in the village. The store was closed but he called his friend to open the shop just for us ♥️. Overall a once in a lifetime memorable experience. 👍

Good location hotel is sited between city center and Dagu glacier main gate. Room is large, clean and new with automatic lights, curtains, toilet and wireless chargers. Reasonable low price.
