Mountain view Hotels in Dengfeng

We arrived at Songshan in the evening and wanted to rest in the hotel before climbing Songshan at night. The boss came out to pick me up late at night and even took me to the foot of the mountain! ! ! After the climb in the morning, they took me back to the hotel, which was really awesome! ! The lady boss came into the hotel and said ”treat this place like home” and I burst into tears Another small tip is, remember to turn on the water heater before going ~ otherwise you may not be able to take a warm bath in time hahaha

Great homestay with friendly and serviceminded hosts The Dengfeng Youlu Homestay was a very nice experience and can be highly recommended. The rooms were very clean and modern. Spacious and with comfortable beds. The bathroom was also modern with nice amenities. The location is a little outside the city, but closer to the main attractions to Mount Song. So easy to reach with taxi. We found the location very good and convenient since we wanted to go to the scenic areas. We had breakfast included and found it very tasty and nice. It was plain and fresh and a nice selection of nutritious food before starting the day. The service was very good. The hosts didn’t speak much English, but we used translator apps so absolutely no problem for foreigners. The Dengfeng Youlu honestly has a nice compound with a Chinese garden. They also have a pool. It looks very comfy and cosy to sit and enjoy the garden, but we were there in beginning January so it was wintertime. The room we got had nice view of the garden and the mountains. We can for sure recommend this homestay and we think the reviews written so fare are very correct.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this homestay in Dengfeng. It was the highlight of our trip to the Shaolin Temple area! The Room: The room was incredibly spacious—way bigger than we expected! And it was very, very clean. Everything from the bedding to the bathroom was spotless and well-maintained. It felt like a home away from home. The Location: Absolutely fabulous. We were close to all the main sights, including the Shaolin Temple and Mount Song. It made getting around so easy, and there were great local restaurants just steps away. The Staff (The REAL Highlight): The staff were super, super friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. But one moment truly touched our hearts. We were running late for breakfast and arrived just as they were about to clear everything. Even though there was still plenty of food left, we only ate a little because we felt bad keeping them waiting, and we quickly headed out. Just as we were about to leave, the owner came running after us with two packs of milk in her hands. She said, ”You didn't eat much breakfast, so please take this milk before you go.” It honestly melted our hearts. That small, thoughtful gesture showed just how much she truly cares about her guests. Final Verdict: If you're visiting Dengfeng, do yourself a favor and stay here. Spacious, spotless, perfectly located, and run by the warmest, most generous people. We will definitely be back!

Hotel location is good, not far from the high-speed exit, more than ten kilometers from Shaolin Temple Scenic Area, you can see Lushan from the window. The room is floor heating and very warm. There are paper and pens to practice calligraphy in the room. There are two popular restaurants around. The front desk service is good, the room is clean and tidy, and the space feels a little cramped. Breakfast is full and parking is convenient.

Everything was amazing, the hotel was beautiful with an amazing view of the mountains. The staff was incredibly helpful and made our stay even better, especially Wang Jing who could speak English and helped us with translation. They even let us use the hot springs and pool after our checkout. The restaurant served delicious food at a very comfortable price. I stayed in a Mongolian type room and it was a great experience, very clean and confortable. I will definitely come back!

The hotel room is quite spacious, and the price was reasonable during the May Day holiday. The breakfast was plentiful, and parking was easy. The underground parking lot even has charging stations, which is a huge plus for electric vehicles. The only downside is that the mobile signal in the underground garage isn't very good! They offer free coffee from the coffee machine on the first floor, which I highly recommend!

I brought my parents to Dengfeng for a weekend trip to Mount Song, and after comparing several options, we chose Zhongzhou Huading Hotel. As soon as we entered, we were captivated by the hotel's traditional Chinese architectural style. It's a garden-style hotel that combines a restaurant and accommodation. Upon entering the lobby, a concierge immediately helped us with our luggage and directed us to the front desk for check-in. Ms. Jiao Luyu at the front desk assisted us, providing smiling service throughout. She answered all our questions, helped coordinate our rooms, and processed everything quickly and with a very friendly attitude. After dinner at the restaurant, we returned to our room, which offered views of the Songshan mountain range. Enjoying tea on the balcony was incredibly relaxing. The hotel is also very close to Mount Song and Shaolin Temple, making it convenient for driving. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Dengfeng.

It doesn't seem feasible to reach the hotel by public transport, so having a car is necessary. Accessing the hotel entrance on foot involves climbing a flight of stairs from ground level. Once inside, guests must take the lift to reach the reception on level 6 for check-in. Luggage loading can be managed in carpark B1, and this requires the hotel to open the gate for vehicle access. In terms of service, the hotel staff were attentive and provided good service. They efficiently dried my son's and my sports shoes overnight, saving us from having to travel in wet footwear the next day. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which was delivered to our room. We were able to enjoy it on our small balcony, which was a delightful touch. The breakfast was both healthy and delicious.

Very friendly and helpful staff. One person spoke some English which made things a little easier for me. It's a quick taxi ride to Songshan. It's not really in a location to walk to places so I think it's best if you have your own car. The taxi driver and 'other' drivers do like to overcharge tourists. Getting off at the bus station and being harassed by drivers was unpleasant and gave Dengfeng a bad feeling. There is no train so unless you have a car, you'll also have this unpleasant experience. Dengfeng is quite nice just the welcome is unfortunate. The hotel staff were wonderful, and the room was spacious. I loved the little table by the window, very pleasant. The restaurant across from the parking lot has tasty food and very reasonable priced.

Looking from the outside you might be shocked because it's a villager's house, but the inside is clean. The owner is friendly. The food is delicious and you get a lot. If anyone wants to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of a village, I recommend it. Go to Shaolin Temple and stay overnight. In the morning, go to the village's playground. The villagers are kind. I met children practicing Kung Fu. The children tried to greet and chat in a friendly manner. If you come by train, you can talk to the owner and have him take you to the train. The price is reasonable.
