My friend had an amazing experience staying at Zhaxikong Villa this time. The guesthouse's location is excellent, situated between observation bus stops 1 and 2 within the scenic area, making it incredibly convenient for both long and short tours and saving a lot of hassle. The staff provided meticulous and thoughtful service, actively helping with luggage and offering helpful tips for high-altitude travel. The guesthouse's food exceeded expectations; the yak meat and authentic local dishes were delicious and very satisfying. The room amenities were complete, with underfloor heating keeping it warm even in winter, and an oxygen supply effectively alleviated altitude sickness. The terrace offered a panoramic view, allowing us to admire the stunning beauty of Xiannairi Snow Mountain without leaving the room – truly a breathtaking and therapeutic sight. Everything, from the facilities and food to the service, was impeccable. This is definitely the top choice for accommodation when visiting Yading!

This hotel truly excels in all four aspects: location, amenities, views, and service. 1. **Location**: Situated at Yading Village Station 3, it's perfect for those planning a two-day trip. You won't have to endure the 40-minute one-way shuttle ride back and forth. The hotel is only a 12-minute drive from the shuttle bus terminal and is right at the entrance of Station 3. You don't need to walk an extra step. You can even wait for the shuttle while taking photos on a swing chair in the lobby or the small courtyard, as you can see the snow-capped mountains from anywhere in the hotel (see photo 1, taken this morning). 2. **Amenities**: They provide a Dyson hairdryer, 'Black Sister' toothpaste, a large jar of freshly cut kumquat and lemon fruit tea, and four separate fruit platters. Each room comes with a small wooden table, a vintage tea set, and two packets of tea. There's also a private balcony where you can step out. You can brew tea and take your wooden tray tea set out to take pictures. 3. **Oxygen Supply**: Oxygen is supplied 24 hours a day, unlike many hotels that only offer it from 7 PM to 7 AM. It's a diffused oxygen supply with 24% oxygen concentration. Hotels in Litang typically only reach 21%. If you have an oxygen bag, you can even refill it in your room as the interface is compatible. 4. **Service**: Around 8 PM, I felt cold and asked the front desk to check if the air conditioning was working correctly. Without a word, the front desk brought up a massive heater that could reach a maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius. You'll sleep soundly and won't get cold, and it's completely silent. 5. **Luggage Service**: If you're staying at the hotel with luggage and find it inconvenient to carry to the attractions the next day, you can store it at the front desk. You also won't have to worry about wasting time and queuing for another shuttle to pick up your luggage at the station on your return journey. A front desk staff member will wait for you at the station with your luggage after your return bus departs. You don't even need to get off; they'll load your luggage directly onto the shuttle bus. Nice! 6. **Convenience Store**: If you're short on food, there's a small supermarket about 50 meters from the hotel. A bowl of braised beef noodles costs only 7 yuan – grab it! This is inside a scenic area; at the visitor center, it would start at 20 yuan.

This was the most affordable option in Yading Village yet we were very impressed with our room. We had an amazing view of the mountains. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The host is very hard working and accomodating. For 50 yuan you can have dinner and breakfast. The dinner is amazing with a variety of tasty dishes, worth 50 yuan alone. The breakfast is very basic but seems like that is standard for this area. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Yading.

This guesthouse is a hidden gem in Yading Village. Its location at Station 3 is convenient yet quiet. It faces the majestic Xiannairi peak, perfect for photography enthusiasts who can capture the sunrise over Xiannairi and the golden sunset over Chanadorje from the rooftop. For friends traveling together or families with children, you can relax on the lounge chairs outside the guesthouse's restaurant, facing the snow-capped mountains, and purify your soul. The rooms are equipped with oxygen supply, ensuring a comfortable stay at high altitudes. For families with children, you can head out for a short hike after checking in. The lake is calmer in the afternoon, and the reflections are clearer due to the angle of the light. For those who love hiking, I highly recommend staying a night in Yading Village. This allows ample time for the long trail and helps you acclimatize better to the high altitude, ensuring you're in top form for hiking the next day. The guesthouse also provides complimentary hiking poles, which is a thoughtful touch. Overall, the experience was incredibly comfortable and offered excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

The bed in our room was incredibly comfortable, and we had a direct view of the snow-capped mountains from our window. We booked a special offer room, and the price was truly amazing for the value. When we arrived in Daocheng, a lovely lady personally picked us up, helped with our bags, and took us to the hotel. She even offered us warm ginger tea. The next day, after our hike, we were greeted with a comforting bowl of chicken soup – that moment felt like pure salvation! The people in the village were also very friendly and would greet us proactively. The hotel's service was impeccable; they answered every question and paid attention to every detail. Highly recommend!

This hotel has its issues. The overall location, sanitation, and environment are excellent, and the hostess's overall service was also excellent. But why did they give them a bad review for the service? I don't know if it's her son or her husband who's the one with the worst brains. I added him on WeChat to get an invoice, but I sent him a screenshot by mistake. I originally booked the wrong room type at this hotel, so I changed it, so I sent him the wrong screenshot. He got furious. The voicemail said I'd already checked out, so why would they issue an invoice? They're legally responsible, and then he blocked me. I tried to verify my identity by telling him that the screenshot was wrong and that I actually stayed at their hotel. He blocked me and refused to let me go. I'm just asking you for your bad temper. Working in the service industry, are you out of your mind?!

The hotel was really great. There’s an elevator, so no need to worry about carrying luggage up the stairs. We arrived at ฺBus Stop 2 and the hotel staff came out to help us with our bags — plus we were warmly greeted by an adorable dog! We chose a triple room, and the space was comfortable and sufficient for everyone. Our room faced the front with a beautiful mountain view. The beds also had electric mattress warmers, which made our sleep very cozy. Breakfast was good, and the stir-fried vegetables were delicious. They also provide hiking poles that guests can borrow.

Location is great, in the center of Riwa. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. Only 10minutes to the entrance of Yading. Staff are helpful. They can speak a bit of English. Foreigners are accepted. The room is ok but there is always smoking smell in the room (maybe from the room nextdoor)

Xiaodong have been really helpful giving us suggestions and helping us on logistics. He went above and beyond trying to fix something for us upon knowing Yading Park was closed for a day due to sudden snow, unfortunately even the shorter route was not possible. As we took the bus from Shangri-La and wanted to go to Kangding by bus on return, this is the perfect spot as it's a few minutes walk from and to Yading bus station, and surrounded by several restaurants, convenient stores and souvenir shops. One thing to note is the signage of the hotel says 'First Hotel' so look out for this instead, though taxi drivers do know them by Chujian Art Hotel. I feel the hotel / rooms are a bit run down. There are rooms for the hotel to improve, like cleanliness as I noticed some stains on carpet floors and pillows. Some items are about to be broken/fall apart. Next to the sink, would be great to have a little shelf to put soap holder, and guests can place their personal toiletries. Adding a doormat in front of bathroom would be great as the tiles are slippery when wet. Do specify if you want your bed to be made as well: otherwise, the maid would just clean the trash and supply toiletries, water.

The best choice for a trip to Daocheng Yading is undoubtedly the Crowne Plaza Yading Risong Gongbu Hotel. Located in the heart of Shangri-La town, its 2800-meter altitude is just right, avoiding altitude sickness while providing convenient access to the Yading scenic area entrance – a mere 15-minute drive to the sacred mountains. Upon arrival, a concierge proactively offered to help with luggage, a warm gesture spreading from the moment you stepped out of the car. Entering the double-height lobby, the ******* elements blend seamlessly with modern design. The hanging scroll depicting the three sacred mountains of Yading instantly evoked anticipation for the journey. The seated service during check-in was exceptionally attentive; staff member David offered ginger tea to dispel the chill of the journey and provided a detailed explanation of the scenic route and a guide map. The hotel's dining experience was a highlight of the trip. While the breakfast wasn't as lavish as in inland China, it was certainly excellent for the ******* region.
