"If you are looking for a modern, hi-tech vacation, Adora Inn is not for you. If you are seeking a calm, quiet and cool respite from the heat of a Mt. Dora summer day, while being located in the very heart of all that is Mt. Dora, then you’ll find it in the Adora Inn. From the ridiculously (and delicious) gourmet breakfasts to the charming old South decor, to the personal artwork and wonderful squeaky stairs, Adora Inn will welcome you with open arms. Its owners, John and Arthur, are pleasant and gracious, and the dogs are well trained and beautiful. Have a great time. We did."

"We tolerated the deferred maintenance and clogged kitchen sink for two days because the manager is nice, the location is good, and everything else close by was booked, which is why we chose this cottage, but we canceled our plans and left before sunrise on the last day because we didn't sleep after killing three cockroaches that night. Two were in the kitchen and one crawled up the wall behind the broken headboard. Avoid this place."
