"The hotel's location is truly excellent! It's right to the exit of the station, just a 1-2 minute walk. The hotel environment is lovely, and the room was comfortable and warm (I'm someone who gets cold easily). A special thanks to one of the front desk staff – I'm so sorry I didn't catch her name (I checked in on February 21, 2026, around 1:30 PM; please extend my gratitude to the long brown-haired staff member on duty at that time!). The reason for my gratitude is that I have specific pillow preferences for sleeping, and the floor I was on had run out of the pillows I needed. The front desk staff member diligently noted my preferences, and when I returned in the evening, I found that other staff members had prepared suitable pillows and coffee for me, based on her notes (even though I only asked for one packet, she put two in the bag!). This small gesture showed immense kindness and reflects the excellent professionalism of the hotel staff. Thank you for the help and kindness you showed to me, traveling alone!"

"Kitami is a very small city. The department store opposite closes at 18:30, the fresh food supermarket has almost no cooked food, and only 3 gourmet restaurants on the 6th floor are open! The hotel room and bathroom are very small, standard Japanese family space; if you compare the room rate and facilities, it is a bit expensive!"

"This was my first time staying at this hotel, and my second time staying at the Tsuruga Group. The Tsuruga Group has a consistent décor and atmosphere. I think it's great that they have their own unique style. The view from the window is amazing, with a variety of waterfowl visible. The thoughtful provision of binoculars was also a nice touch. The room itself was renovated and beautiful. The hot springs are located on the first and second floors, and alternate between men and women. However, the water quality is the same on both floors, containing red iron. There are lukewarm and hot waters, so I enjoyed alternating between them. The water was very warming and pleasant. The meal was a delicious Western-style course meal. I'm not particularly fond of raw oysters, but these were fresh and delicious, and the course itself was thoroughly delicious, right down to the dessert. Breakfast was a buffet, and while there was seafood of course, there was also a wide selection of delicious meat dishes. I was also impressed by the attentiveness of the bath staff. They seemed to realize it was my first time, as they greeted me at the entrance and in the changing room. It wasn't just one person, but several people greeted me, which made me realize how attentive everyone is. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see the sunset this time, so I'll come back next time."

"We wanted to take an icebreaker cruise in Mombetsu during the ***** New Year holiday, but all the hotels there were fully booked. Luckily, we managed to book a room at the Keidan Takigami Hotel, a 30-minute drive from the icebreaker departure point, which solved our problem. The hotel is a hot spring inn, offering both onsen (hot spring bath) services and a restaurant. We arrived by long-distance bus, and the bus stop was a bit of a walk from the hotel. We were initially planning to walk, but a kind local helped us call the hotel to arrange a pick-up. We were so grateful to her! ❤️ The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. Despite the language barrier, they were incredibly patient, minimizing our communication anxiety. The hotel room was spacious, with two large beds and tatami mats. Because my family members have tattoos, it wasn't convenient to use the public bath, but thankfully, the room had a bathtub for onsen bathing, allowing us to spend a relaxing and enjoyable evening."
