Torre Don Virgilio Country Hotel

"Stayed there between the 14th and 18th of July for 4 nights. The hotel is in a remote area which makes it ideal for those looking for a break. This is what we wanted. Breakfast is also good and the staff are nice and helpful. My disappointment is the restaurant. We planned to eat there; however, as soon as I saw the menu I realised that it was limited and also too expensive considering the area. We ate lunch on our last day and the lasagna served as main course was barely enough to give to my 4 year old child. All in all, it's a nice hotel and I consider staying there again due to the beautiful surroundings and cleanliness that I was able to observe. However, I believe that guests who are paying almost €200 a night deserve to at least be offered appropriate dinner and / or lunch for an adequate price."

Casa Talia - Rooms

"Had a great experience at Casa Talia - beautiful room with a private garden and view of the town/cathedral. Breakfast out in the garden was fantastic. Special shout out to Vittorio who was our main person at the hotel, he was super helpful and went above and beyond (booking taxis, bringing us an extra umbrella in a downpour, etc). Thanks Vittorio!!!"

Itria Modica

"We sadly only stayed one night. As we arrived in Sicily via a ferry from Malta, then a taxi from the port - we didn't have any control over our timings which meant we arrived at the hotel very early (about 10.30am), certainly before current customers had even checked out! However, we were greeted in a very friendly and welcoming manner, offered coffee, a place to leave our suitcases, and use of the pool - although we chose to explore Modica instead. Once we were able to check in, the room was clean and bright, with a comfortable bed, good AC, and a lovely balcony with an amazing view of the town! We then made use of the pool - very refreshing temperature. Breakfast the following morning had a good selection, and it was lovely to enjoy the view as we ate. As our bus to Noto wasn't until the afternoon, we were able to store our suitcases again and keep using the pool way after we'd checked out - very much appreciated! This hotel is high above the town, hence the fab view; however, there are many, many steps if you don't have a car. There are 333 - yes, we counted them! Helped burn off some of the pizza, I suppose 😊. It's a really nice place to stay, great amenities and lovely staff "

Villa Rosa

"We stayed in the campsite for 3 nights , with the scooter ; it is comfortable to visit Modica , Ragusa , Scicli . You can download toilet box in a toilet and load water . We usually download the grey with a vase day by day and so we didn't hear the lack of camper service . The manager is very comfortable for the needs . We were good , we sleeped quietly at night . Shopping centres at about 2.5 km"
