If i could rate this NEGATIVE 5 I would! The staff at the front desk had me (WHILE HOLDING MY TODDLER) waiting for ONE AND A HALF HOURS. They REQUIRED me to have an ID FOR MY 2YR OLD SON OR THEY WOULD NOT CHECK ME INTO MY SUITE. Not ONE OUNZE of sympathy while i could barely feel my back anymore after the 1.5hrs of carrying my child on me while finding a way to get them SOME sort of proof of my child's identity. This Requirement was stated NOWHERE in the ONE email i got from them prior to checking in. they did however mention i'd be paying an 18% sales tax at check in. i feel like thats a BIG REQUIREMENT TO MENTION IN SUCH E-MAILS. They literally refused to check me in. I do not live here so of course i had to SCRAMBLE TO CALL MY HUSBAND AND MOM IN THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD to help me get the proof they needed, in this case being a birth certificate of my child. RIDICULOUS! HE IS TWO!!!! I have stayed in over 500 hotels in my life, multiple countries and in multiple continents and NONE of them has EVER demanded ID FOR A TWO YR OLD. They wouldnt even make an exception, i had TWO rooms i had reserved with them, my back was literally numb and NOPE, THEY WOULD NOT MAKE ONE EXCEPTION. THE WORST customer service i have seen in my entire life. i really hope they ADD that BIG REMINDED in their future check in e-mails because NO MOM should EVER EXPERIENCE WHAT I EXPERIENCED AT THIS HOTEL, INHUMANE, and simply BAD BUSINESS. on the other hand, the breakfast was good.good view.

Selina Posada Miraflores

This review is for our stay in mid-February 2023. We have mixed feelings with our stay at Selina 3 Miraflores. The good aspects first: 1. The room, while quite small, was functional. It had an open wardrobe with plenty of shelf space and a few hanging points. 2. The beddings were comfortable. 3. Josef at the breakfast area was courteous and friendly. Here are the opportunity areas: 1. The directions from the booking partners should be corrected. We were directed to Selina 2 based on the address; but it was Selina 1 based on the hotel name and photos. In the end, were supposed to stay at Selina 3. 2. Selina 3 has no power generator. There was an electricity outage in the morning of our check-out day. Because of that, the wifi connection, power outlets, the two elevators, and A/C unit were not working. This is crucial if Selina positions its property as a co-working space. 3. Our booking included breakfast but Selina couldn't find it in their records. 4. We asked receptionist Paola for late check-out (12 noon) arrangements which she gladly provided, as we checked in at midnight. We requested that she leaves a note for her colleague who would assist us upon check-out; but she said it wasn't necessary, and that she would just talk to her colleague. To our suprise, we had an unpleasant discussion with Pia on the day of our check-out because she was insisting that we had to leave by the usual check-out time (11 AM). Inconveniences like this can be avoided by clear and proper communication among Selina staff.

Hilton Garden Inn Lima Miraflores

Hilton Garden Inn Lima Miraflores

Miraflores|1.46km from downtown
Summary: a very good hotel that gets its core mission right, with minor room for improvement to get a perfect score next time. The good: Staff: all staff I encountered from security at the front door to the check-in and restaurant/bar staff were excellent. All FOH staff spoke good to excellent English. A special thanks to Diego at the front desk for being especially friendly and going above and beyond to help me manage multiple reservations I had booked for this property, allowing me to stay in my original room and not have to check out and back in. Thanks also to Henry from the bar/restaurant for his warm and friendly service that made me feel especially welcome and valued. The room: what a fantastic room. Hotel is relatively new and as you’d expect the room is modern, with a seperate desk space for working and plentiful AC and USB charging points for your devices. A very modern bathroom with high pressure rainfall shower and seperate toilet behind a floor to ceiling frosted door. Food/drink: food and drink was excellent, plenty of local and western choices. Not local or authentic by any means but the ‘Texas Burger’ and ‘BBQ Wings’ wouldn’t be out of place at any high quality US diner. Location: hotel is in a safe, quiet pocket of Miraflores within walking distance to the beach, Kennedy park, Lacomar mall and Barranco. There are bus stops nearby if you wish to go to the Lima historic centre. The bad: The bedding: this seems like such an oversight, but the bedding was terrible. Tiny small pillows that are reminiscent of the ones you get given on airplanes and a scratchy blanket that brought back memories from school camp. This seems like an easy one to fix. Noisy: half way through my stay I got some noisy neighbours in the next room and you could hear their conversations clear as day through the wall. So be aware so this may be an issue. Fortunately in my case they went quiet at night time and my sleep wasn’t impacted. Smoking: while this is a smoke free property, the smoking area is right by the front door so you often have to walk through a plume of smoke to enter the property. Please consider moving the smoking area to the other side of the driveway. Conclusion: A very good hotel. If I return to Limq, this would likely be my first choice. This property is better than many Hilton (main brand) I’ve stayed at.

Ahead of our arrival, we specifically asked for AC and fans. Upon our arrival, the AC and the safe weren't working and we had to ask for fans which still didn't compeletely work. The staff claimed that the AC would be fixed the next day but two days passed and it never happened. We were finally switched to another room (after having asked for days since our arrival), only to find that night after touring all day that the second room had no hot water in the bathroom. The key also didn't work. After we complained about this to the front desk and asked to be changed to another room (third room), we never received any kind of apology or any offer of a refund or discount. On the contrary, Romulo, the manager, asked to speak to us on the phone where he reprimanded us for being ”rude”. All three of the rooms we stayed in during our ten day stay had filthy floors and carpets. There are ”No smoking” signs but there were a couple of older guests who smoked and left ashtrays out in public spaces throughout all hours of the day, bringing in younger female ”guests” late at night. My mother has stayed here several times over the past five years and has noticed a consistent decline in service. The location is very close to where our family loves so this would be perfect but we will never stay here again. The staff were incredibly unprofessional and take no pride in this establishment, which seems to have become a party space for only a handful of guests.

AC Hotel Lima Miraflores

Miraflores|2.43km from downtown
The AC Marriott Hotel in Miraflores was one of my best international hotel experiences so far. The staff were all extremely friendly and helped me with multiple different things — updating my keys, late check-in, restaurant recommendations, laundry services, room requests, etc. I stayed for 7 days and felt extremely well taken care of. The views of the ocean from the AC Hotel were great — from the both the rooftop and the 2nd floor lounge. I used all of the amenities at this location — the Breakfast Kitchen (morning buffets), the AC Lounge/Bar, the rooftop bar/kitchen, and the rooftop gym. My favorite out of all of them had to be the breakfast experience. I loved the furniture and styling of the entire hotel, and the beds/pillows were perfect for me (medium-firm). Special thank you to the Front Desk concierge staff that helped me during my stay: Diego, Anthony, and Analucia. Breakfast was amazing - so many farm to market varieties. My favorites were the fresh house-made yogurt, fresh juices (pineapple was my favorite), and the rotating traditional breakfast items. Thank you to to the following breakfast staff members that recommended items and took care of my meals every morning: Alex Quiroz, Esther, and John My other favorite amenity was the AC Lounge (and rooftop bar). A wonderful area to sit and be taken care of — coffee, water, and great seating options as well in the work area. Never had an issue finding a spot to sit and work at, or a spot to lounge and relax at. Big thank you to Christian from the Bar for taking care of me at both the AC lounge and the rooftop bars and helping me understand the Peruvian versions of vodka+sprite and rum+coke. I fell in love with Lima during this trip and will be visiting again — I will definitely be booking my stay at the AC Marriott in Miraflores when I come to visit in the future! Thank you again to all the wonderful hotel staff for making my stay so effortless :)

We arrived in the afternoon. Everyone looked among them because they didn't know about arrivals (will they have a booking system? I doubt). We never checked in, they never took our data and less we received a check from them. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable and very comfortable. There were no soap or soaps. I went out to complain visiblely annoyed and they told me that the manager wasn't there and they knew nothing to us because they worked for the cafetaria/bar. They gave us no key nor anything. I repeat, no check in nor anything. We went to take a walk, my children, my wife and I. At the return the lack of attention-coordination was the same with the difference that the 'manager' was now present. He hardly greeted. I was given a key attached to a dental cord and a soap. I asked for the wifi And they didn't have any idea what the key was. At the third attempt we finally connected. The super basic room, I don't know whether to pack or to wear. Humour to moisture, walls ignored, bathroom with a tank with gouts, the noise of the bar. A disaster!!! We never got information about the place from them, even the street was closed by works and they never explained to us. I could not recommend this place, it is more, encourage them not to consider it.

A great choice in the heart of Miraflores. A clean, modern and very quiet hotel close to everything. 1 block away from airport bus stop and 10 minutes walk from the beach. Rooms were serviced everyday and they were more than adequate, I stayed for 2 weeks and had no issues. Many cafes and resturants around the hotel, I did not eat at the hotel itself heover it seemed reasonable and many others did. Highly recommended.

Stayed for 3 nights while visiting Lima. The hotel is very well located, clean, quiet and modern with very comfortable beds. Staff was mainly friendly and helpful. Included breakfast is served on top floor area and is quite extensive, including cold and hot selections. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. One quibble- room door does not have eye or latch to check who is knocking. But we certainly felt very safe there.

Modern hotel but badly designed. Entrance is down several steps with a lift for luggage which many people struggle to operate. Only given one room key between 2 people, which also operates the lift and the electric in the room. Although kettle is in the room only 1 cup and 1 sachet of coffee between 2 people. Breakfast is poor but evening meal no choice of food only 1 meal offered which was so bad we didn't eat. Complained to the reception who thought it was funny and laughed at us.

Staff very kind and friendly at the desk front and in the restaurant, delicious breakfast buffet with plenty of options, very comfortable rooms even if you got the interior view. I assisted to the dinner with live music and it was a great experience.
Hotel Jose Antonio

The breakfast was ok, the variety was average, and it was not comparable to the Chinese hotel. The location is very good, not far from the casino, supermarket and the Pacific Ocean. They are all 1 meter 2 small beds and did not see the parking lot.
