Modern hotel but badly designed. Entrance is down several steps with a lift for luggage which many people struggle to operate. Only given one room key between 2 people, which also operates the lift and the electric in the room. Although kettle is in the room only 1 cup and 1 sachet of coffee between 2 people. Breakfast is poor but evening meal no choice of food only 1 meal offered which was so bad we didn't eat. Complained to the reception who thought it was funny and laughed at us.

Very nice boutique hotel, convenient location for walking, with wonderful, helpful staff. Because we were leaving Peru late at night after a day of touring, they kindly let us use the gym and spa area to shower and change even though we had checked out. Delicious breakfasts. Only thing is to ask for rooms away from the elevator. It makes a very odd ”mooing” sound as it stops on each floor which can be heard from close-by rooms.
Hilton Garden Inn Lima Miraflores

Summary: a very good hotel that gets its core mission right, with minor room for improvement to get a perfect score next time. The good: Staff: all staff I encountered from security at the front door to the check-in and restaurant/bar staff were excellent. All FOH staff spoke good to excellent English. A special thanks to Diego at the front desk for being especially friendly and going above and beyond to help me manage multiple reservations I had booked for this property, allowing me to stay in my original room and not have to check out and back in. Thanks also to Henry from the bar/restaurant for his warm and friendly service that made me feel especially welcome and valued. The room: what a fantastic room. Hotel is relatively new and as you’d expect the room is modern, with a seperate desk space for working and plentiful AC and USB charging points for your devices. A very modern bathroom with high pressure rainfall shower and seperate toilet behind a floor to ceiling frosted door. Food/drink: food and drink was excellent, plenty of local and western choices. Not local or authentic by any means but the ‘Texas Burger’ and ‘BBQ Wings’ wouldn’t be out of place at any high quality US diner. Location: hotel is in a safe, quiet pocket of Miraflores within walking distance to the beach, Kennedy park, Lacomar mall and Barranco. There are bus stops nearby if you wish to go to the Lima historic centre. The bad: The bedding: this seems like such an oversight, but the bedding was terrible. Tiny small pillows that are reminiscent of the ones you get given on airplanes and a scratchy blanket that brought back memories from school camp. This seems like an easy one to fix. Noisy: half way through my stay I got some noisy neighbours in the next room and you could hear their conversations clear as day through the wall. So be aware so this may be an issue. Fortunately in my case they went quiet at night time and my sleep wasn’t impacted. Smoking: while this is a smoke free property, the smoking area is right by the front door so you often have to walk through a plume of smoke to enter the property. Please consider moving the smoking area to the other side of the driveway. Conclusion: A very good hotel. If I return to Limq, this would likely be my first choice. This property is better than many Hilton (main brand) I’ve stayed at.
Antara Hotel & Suites - Miraflores

The hotel is located in the heart of Miraflore, with spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. The restaurant offers excellent gourmet food and the environment is beautiful and cozy; not to mention the hotel decor, which is really beautiful, very typical Peruvian and colonial. The staff of the Reception of Names Luis, Juan Carlos and Paul always dressed very elegantly and received everyone with a great smile and kindness. The gentlemen responsible for cleaning the rooms named Juan Carlos, Paul and Herst were very efficient, always left my room very clean and well equipped. They were in a room at my time, waiting for me to leave my room (often late) to start cleaning it and not to interrupt me. The restaurant was always first-hand, pointing out that the managing man, named Luis, was very careful and always wondering if the meal was of my pleasure. Even the cooks Miguel and Tapia went out of the kitchen one morning to greet me, as I told them I wanted to personally congratulate them on their delicious pots. The gentlemen of the names Herman (Public Areas) and José (in charge of the General Cleaning of the Hotel), were always careful and with a smile for any order or question I asked. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable and very comfortable. I will not be tired of recommending you for your good attention, location, cleaning, good price and good food.

Excellent location with lots of restaurants/eateries and markets around. If one wants to be like local people, bus stations are also very close. Staff is very friendly and everyone is eager to help. Particularly the reception manager Pilar is extremely nice who patiently answered our questions and showed us the directions to the markets and the bus station. Pilar also let us use her bus card so we don't have to buy the card. We had leisure times Lima so we went in/out of the hotel many times during our stay. Every time we passed by the lobby, Pilar would always hail to us enthusiastically. Good bedding, adequate breakfast, quite and spacious room, safe and frige useful for people staying more than one or two days. We read from some previous reviews about noise from street and requested a quite room. Our double room is very quite and we didn't hear any noise. Actually the front street the hotel is facing is not a busy street and we didn't see any heavy/noisy traffic there.

Breakfast is relatively simple, there are fried egg bread, pastries, juice, but no fruit, barely strong. The room is a bit small, but it is relatively neat, double-glazed soundproof, the only bad thing is that the toilet has no ventilation, the only hard injury, the other is very good,
