I was scammed by the student discount though... (bitter smile). The only thing I was a little disappointed about was that the parking lot was full and I had to park in a distant spot, so I wish they had guided me a little better."

"We spent a wonderful week at the Ryudo onsen. I've read lots of other reviews in different languages ​​where people complain about the cleanliness being subpar and similar things. These things always depend on what you expect. This onsen is certainly not the newest and has a long history. For us, however, everything here was positive: we really liked our room - you could actually say a suite with a separate bedroom, living room, bathroom and our own garden onsen if you like - and we had a really relaxing week here. The fact that this place has 18 different baths, each with its own separate design, is the highlight. The food is excellent - every day there was a typical Japanese breakfast and dinner with a lively selection of vegetables, meat and fish dishes. The nature is beautiful and invites you to take long walks. The lobby is comfortably warm and the free Wi-Fi is extremely convenient for people who don't have Japanese cell phones. We traveled all the way from Munich and I suspect it won't be the last time."

"A little old but solid building with facilities. Originally for national public servants? I stayed as a visitor at the facility. It may be unavoidable because it is a visitor, but the meal was a room meal. The food was very delicious. We recommend a small family bath next to the large communal bath. Maybe it's a free-flowing bath."

"Amazing experience! Great staff - the inn itself was very clean and well stocked. The AC was one of the top priorities for us (since it was summer) and our expectations were (more than) met. We also very much enjoyed the onsen and shower area. The inn itself had a beautiful interior with access to the garden outside. There is also a Lawsons 5 min drive away."
