Ocean Bliss by Sugar Coliving ★★★★
"It was a fabulous stay."
AWON HOTEL MIRISSA ★★★★
"I booked on the morning of my stay, and they welcomed me warmly, offering lots of advice and assistance. It was also close to other tourist attractions, and the hotel itself was great."
Dickwella Resort and Spa ★★★★★
"We enjoyed our stay in Dickwella resorts and spa. Loved the hospitality, beach clubs, buffet, rooms. Everything. Would defibitelt recommend this place to friends"
Ayurvie Weligama - Ayurvedic Retreat - Thema Collection ★★★★★
"I would say it’s the best location with magnificent view. Very responsible team, nice retreat 🔥"
Randiya Sea View Hotel ★★★★
"Very nice, just one road away from the beach."
Outpost Weligama Beachfront ★★★
"The Outpost is nicely located on the beach, the staff is nice, the beachside rooms are nice but not cheap. The standard rooms are more like hostel rooms. Unfortunately, the building is very noisy and the air conditioning was either on full blast or not working at all, which made the night miserable. We then changed hotels and are still waiting for our money today, despite the offer of a refund. It's obviously all about the money and not about giving the guest a good experience. If someone likes to sleep with earplugs, then I can recommend the Outpost with reservations."
NiiRA Mirissa
"Excellent service"
Hey Lala Talalla ★★★
"This is a very cozy spot that makes you feel like you're living in solitude with nature, right among the rocks. Yes, there's a road nearby, but it absolutely doesn't disturb your rest and relaxation. Everything is clean and tidy, and there's a kitchen, which is very convenient for longer stays. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away. If you're looking for a peaceful place with a nice atmosphere and close proximity to nature – I wholeheartedly recommend it!"
Cascara Resort Weligama ★★★★★
"As the first person to write a review, I'll say right away: I absolutely recommend staying here! This hotel is wonderful in every way, from the service to the secluded atmosphere. The breakfasts are excellent – even with just one main menu, there's still a good selection. I was surprised by how well-stocked the room was: I'm not talking about the mini-bar and drinking water, but the bathroom, which has absolutely everything you need, including perfumed toiletries. The conditioner, shampoo, body lotion, and scrub are all fantastic quality. The room is incredibly spacious, and the shower is wonderful. It matches the photos and description 100%. I want to thank the staff for their hospitality, the manager and owner for their smiles and morning chats, and the chef for the excellent cuisine and for helping with a special personal request. It's very close to the coastline, with restaurants, beach clubs, and shops nearby. It was my first time in Sri Lanka, and I have to say, in some ways, I liked this hotel even more than the island itself. Rating: 10/10. I will definitely be back!"

Mandara Resort Mirissa
"The hotel facilities are complete, but the indoor facilities are very simple. The sea view room is very beautiful, but the lake view room is not in the main area of the hotel, so the quality is very poor. It should also be noted that the quality of seawater in this area varies greatly. This bay has a good view, but the seawater is not suitable for swimming."
Hotel Vacanza
"The room was on the third floor. The waiter was very nice. He helped with the luggage and brought breakfast. It was 1,800 rubles and it was OK. There was a stinky ditch at the door that hindered the view. There were some ants and mosquitoes in the room, but the beach nearby was very good."
Sailors Mirissa
"We spent two weeks at this hotel. From February 21 to March 7, 2025. At first we wanted to spend a week, but then we stayed for another week. Before arriving, we called the hotel manager, Mr. Kumara, and asked for an early check-in at 9 a.m. They accommodated us and said that the room would be ready for our arrival and no extra charge would be required. Unfortunately, due to a number of inconsistencies, we were only able to arrive at 6 p.m. To my surprise, Mr. Kumara waited for us, showed us our room and told us about the hotel. The hotel is not large, perfectly clean, has its own courtyard, parking for cars or bikes. All rooms starting from the second floor have access to the balcony. There is a table and a couple of chairs near each room. In the evening, you can sit and admire the sunset. From the upper floors there is a magnificent view of the ocean and the Parrot Rock island located directly opposite the hotel. The room has everything for a comfortable stay. Good beds, a table with a rack and a separate rack for linen and all sorts of small items. A large mirror. A rack with hangers for clothes. In the bedside table there is an individual safe. The room is large, bright. Perfectly white walls. Furniture made of natural wood in the color "wenge". A pleasant contrast. The air conditioner works quietly, there is also a fan. The bathroom has everything you need, a shower, a toilet, a mirror with lighting. Everything is clean, no stains or mold, which we found in other hotels. What is most interesting and pleasant - no insects. No mosquitoes or ants. For Sri Lanka this is a rarity. You can sleep peacefully. There is also a shared kitchen. It has the necessary utensils, several kettles, a refrigerator. Bottled water, as well as a cooler. The location of the hotel itself is just perfect. Literally a couple of minutes walk and you are on the beach, in front of you is the island of Parrot Rock (be sure to climb it. The photos will be magnificent) which seems to divide the bay into two parts. On the right is Mirissa Beach - a large beach with a wide coastline and a wave for surf lovers. There are also many cafes with fresh seafood. In the evening, tables are set out and you can choose any fish, shrimp, lobsters, etc., which will be cooked for you right there. And to the left of Parrot Rock, a small bay, Turtle Beach, is closed from the ocean by reefs, there are practically no waves, even small children can safely swim in it. Surfers ride behind the reefs. Here you can also rent masks and fins, a surfboard. There are instructors who will help you master surfing. Diving, fishing, whale and dolphin watching tours are also available. Nearby is another very beautiful place, Coconut Tree Hill. Here you can take great photos. As for food, there are many cafes and restaurants for every budget near the hotel. Just fifty meters away is the Petti Petti Mirissa restaurant. This place is iconic for Mirissa. The restaurant itself has a pool where you can swim while your ordered dishes are being prepared. I highly recommend it. Well, and also, regarding the hotel, I would like to especially note the hotel manager, Mr. Kumar. He is a very friendly and helpful person. If you have any questions, he will always listen and help you solve them. Before leaving, I asked about the possibility of staying at the hotel until the evening, since our flight was at night. Not only did Mr. Kumar allow us to stay in the room, but he did not even charge us extra. He himself oriented us on the time and called a taxi for us at an affordable price for 8 o'clock in the evening. In addition to him, the administrator Kushan is always at the hotel. A cheerful, good-natured guy. He will solve any question about your stay. Do you need cleaning, a change of linen, towels or anything else. Feel free to contact him. In addition, he speaks good English. You can just chat or ask about the sights. I really liked staying at the hotel. It's a pity that it was only two weeks. Next year I will definitely come back here. Mr. Kumar, Kushan, thank you."
Coral Beach Hotel
"Loved every second of the stay! We would definitely come back for excellent service from Neranjana at the front desk! She is the best!"
Cape Weligama - Relais and Chateaux
"An incredible stay couldn’t fault them in any way. Highly recommend."
W15 Weligama
"We had a wonderful time at W15 in Weligama. The hotel is right by the beach, so we could hear the waves and enjoy the ocean view every day. It’s a stylish and clean place, with a calm and peaceful feeling that made me feel relaxed as soon as we arrived. The staff were super kind and helpful. They always made sure we were comfortable. Our room was cozy and nicely decorated, with everything we needed. One of our favorite parts was the pool. The views were stunning. The hotel is definitely a great spot for surfing, chilling, or just watching the sunset. W15 is a wonderful choice for your trip to Weligama."
Villa Vista by the Serendipity Collection
"Amazing architecture, beautiful place to relax the day away by the pool… fantastic local breakfast and lovely staff!"
Vis Ta VIE -Thema Collection
"Excellent place for relaxing. Top class food. Amazing staff. Luxury room Calm beach We had an amazing time at this friendly luxury resort with 5 star meal."
Handagedara Resort & Spa
"It was a clean and comfortable environment. The beach is also close, and there is also a fishing port if you walk a little. We have everything we need."
Sapiens Home - Weligama Bay
"It's alright, but the location is hard to find."
Asaya Sands Mirissa
"This was my first time staying at their hotel, and I was very satisfied with their service. It's really just a 2-3 step walk from the beach, no joke. They also provide a great breakfast."
Sky Garden Mini Hotel
"Perfect location very close to the beach with some great restaurants near by. Staff friendly and will help you. Would recommend."
Hotel Ferola
We Escape Weligama
"An amazing week spent at Kima Surf Camp Weligama, where I improved my surfing skills thanks to all the great guides. The guides gave me individual feedback after each wave, so I immediately knew what I need to change in order to level up. On top of the great time spent surfing, we were able to enjoy a delicious breakfast or dinner, participate in different fun activities, relax by the pool and/or follow much needed yoga classes. Special thanks to Benja, Sam and Roma for the greatest experiences for the last session, also with the video analysis!"
Beach & Bliss Mirissa
"One of the worst three star hotels I stayed. The price is high for this hotel service is average and pathetic. The room alloted does not have Almira and have hangers, the door is not thick moreover the shower area had shower gel hook broken at room number 405. The issue was reported to front desk but no action taken. Ms Shrimoni at reception was a great help to us, the person in evening was way too rude when we asked for water considering we were staying as family. The breakfast there is average nothing speacil, food quality is average. Don't think this place has any charm"
