"I don't normal write reviews of hotels, but I just got back from the Rural Son Mas with my children, and I was so impressed with the hotel I wanted to write a review. From the minute we arrived, everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The building itself is beautiful and has been thoughtfully restored. The grounds are phenomenal, and the view from the pool was lovely and so relaxing. Dinner in the evening was cooked to order and was delicious. So was the breakfast. If you are looking for a charming, family orientated hotel which is non corporate and very personal, I would totally recommend the Son Mas. We can't wait to return."

"This place is truly delightful, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. The room was spotless and well-organized, ensuring a comfortable stay. Breakfast was lovely, and the view of the sea from the breakfast area added a special touch. The environment is peaceful and serene, largely due to the fact that most guests are couples, creating a quiet and relaxing ambiance. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and always ready to assist, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The pool is well-maintained and clean, with plenty of sunbeds available for guests to enjoy. It's worth noting that a car is essential for reaching this location, as access is via a single road. However, the effort is rewarded with nearby romantic and tranquil beaches, as well as easy access to Santanyí, Manacor, and Cala D’or, offering plenty of opportunities for exploration. In summary, this place is stunning, and I highly recommend it, especially for couples seeking a peaceful retreat."

"Firstly, I want to state that we have returned from our holiday today and, overall, we had a lovely time. The pools are great and, apart from the first day, were clean. The entertainment team are super talented — the dancing in the shows is next level and I wouldn’t be surprised if some of them go on to Strictly! The rooms are okay, although they could definitely use an upgrade. Unfortunately, the air conditioning stopped working after the first night, which was particularly difficult given the heat. One of the biggest issues for us was becoming unwell during our stay. I experienced sickness which we believe was caused by food, and after speaking to several other guests, we were told that they had experienced similar symptoms. This really impacted the latter part of our holiday and was particularly difficult as we were travelling with a young child. I appreciate that illness can happen on holiday and that it isn’t always possible to establish exactly what caused it. However, the fact that we spoke to several other guests who had also been unwell made us feel that this was something that should be looked into. Overall, we did enjoy our holiday and there are definitely positives to the hotel, particularly the entertainment team and the pools. However, with some improvements to the rooms, air conditioning and, most importantly, the food and hygiene standards, I think this hotel could be so much better."

"Can't understand the bad reviews of this hotel, I had a lovely stay there. I booked a studio apartment with a mountain view, a couple of weeks before going, I emailed and asked if I could have a high floor and a walk in shower. When I arrived I was given a 6th floor studio with a walk in shower. On going out on the balcony I couldn't beleive it, it was a wraparound balcony with views of the sea and the mountains, it was wonderful. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the barman always had a smile and said hola when he saw you, being a solo lady, it made me feel at ease. I only had breakfast there, which was very nice with plenty to choose from. I would stay there again, in a heartbeat."

"Lovely place iv u have anyone in a wheelchair not really suitable ther is a ramp down to the pool and bar and restaurant area verry steep could do with a lift for people with walking disability the place could do with the upper bar being open of a day only for people not at the pool area and the selection of drinks could be moor option than just one beer food not bad lots to choose from plenty of snacks throughout the day and night the entertainment at the pool is amazing kids enjoyed it every day the night entertainment is also good I think the plastic glass you get could be pint size as well as half size plenty of soft drinks and hot drinks to help your self to ther is a beach wich you can walk to on site about 10 min walk the path way is ok to walk down but is a little hilly not good for wheelchair wen you get to end of path way you walk down steps to access the small beach cove lovely beach"

"Our stay at Son Amoixa was a wonderful experience. We spent our days at the Rafa Nadal Tennis Academy and returned each evening to the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of Son Amoixa. I cannot say enough about the hotel staff, who were exceptionally helpful, kind, and professional throughout our stay. The grounds were beautiful and meticulously maintained, creating a truly tranquil setting. We also enjoyed several dinners at the hotel, all of which were outstanding. The quality of the food and service was top-notch. We highly recommend Son Amoixa and would gladly stay there again."
