Belle Son Mas Luxury Finca Hotel

"I don't normal write reviews of hotels, but I just got back from the Rural Son Mas with my children, and I was so impressed with the hotel I wanted to write a review. From the minute we arrived, everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The building itself is beautiful and has been thoughtfully restored. The grounds are phenomenal, and the view from the pool was lovely and so relaxing. Dinner in the evening was cooked to order and was delicious. So was the breakfast. If you are looking for a charming, family orientated hotel which is non corporate and very personal, I would totally recommend the Son Mas. We can't wait to return."

AluaSun Cala Antena - All Inclusive

"Very good experience at this hotel! We booked a sea view room, and were on the 7th floor. The views were lovely. Our room was clean and very spacious. The door out on the balcony could do with a bit of WD40 (bit stiff!). Our room was tucked away, so did not have many issues with noise. But, I could see if you had a more central room, it could be quite loud at night. The food and drinks were spot on. Didn’t do much queuing all holiday! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Not a lot to do in the local area. We hired a car and drove around the north east of the island. The atmosphere was very good in the evenings. It would be better if the entertainment started a little sooner and lasted longer. My only criticism that comes to mind is the music played during the day is VERY repetitive. At one point a Christmas song came on! Overall, good hotel that is budget friendly!"

Alua Calas de Mallorca Resort

"Alua Calas was more than what we expected. Its large scenic views were amazing and location is great with some shops and attractions very close by. The hotel staff were absolutely amazing, friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and delicious and there was a great range, especially having themed nights each evening for dinner. The room was spacious and comfortable and was cleaned daily to a high standard. The hotel overall was clean, welcoming and pleasant. We liked the token system, for drinks. This meant it was clean and no collection of cups anywhere. The staff were always busy and nothing was too much trouble. Pools were clean and large, lifeguards were great. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone and we would consider coming back."

"Think twice about booking this hotel if you are British or English speaking - it is very geared towards its (90%) German clientele so felt quite excluding. In addition, there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms, or, any room service. No-one was available to help with bags to or from the car park. We did enjoy the tennis court and proximity to the Rafa Nadal centre. Overall, although the hotel itself is very picturesque, and the swimming pool excellent, this was a disappointing stay for us."

"Can't understand the bad reviews of this hotel, I had a lovely stay there. I booked a studio apartment with a mountain view, a couple of weeks before going, I emailed and asked if I could have a high floor and a walk in shower. When I arrived I was given a 6th floor studio with a walk in shower. On going out on the balcony I couldn't beleive it, it was a wraparound balcony with views of the sea and the mountains, it was wonderful. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the barman always had a smile and said hola when he saw you, being a solo lady, it made me feel at ease. I only had breakfast there, which was very nice with plenty to choose from. I would stay there again, in a heartbeat."

Breakfast was lovely, and the view of the sea from the breakfast area added a special touch. The environment is peaceful and serene, largely due to the fact that most guests are couples, creating a quiet and relaxing ambiance. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and always ready to assist, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The pool is well-maintained and clean, with plenty of sunbeds available for guests to enjoy. It's worth noting that a car is essential for reaching this location, as access is via a single road. However, the effort is rewarded with nearby romantic and tranquil beaches, as well as easy access to Santanyí, Manacor, and Cala D’or, offering plenty of opportunities for exploration. In summary, this place is stunning, and I highly recommend it, especially for couples seeking a peaceful retreat."
