First of all, we were greeted by the most wonderful and lovely reception staff. There was this young lady Bethany, we got to Club Cala Romani Friday 10th of May at about 7pm-ish. And Bethany was Supremely Excellent. She was 💯 % a 5 🌟 in Her Customer Service. I've done 20 years in the Restaurant Business and another 20 some odd years in jobs requiring Excellent Customer Service. So I am always extra Grateful to be served with the Calibre of the Outstanding All Around Excellence that Bethany Eminated. My Hat goes off to Her. Kind Regards, Wade Y Read

I will start off with the issues we had with the hotel, mainly the reception staff. For a start, the check in experience was a nigh**are- the staff looked at us blanky as if it was a strange request the whole process took around 20 minutes, with nothing explained to us. We were told 30 euro hotel tax and handed the card machine which was very rude, as well as the strange drink system not being explained at all. The second issue we had was the fact we went and asked for some hand soap as it hadn't been provided we were told there was a body wash and that they didn't do hand soap?. we thought this was strange as surely most guests were walking around with dirty hands unless they went out to buy it themselves, considering there was a pandemic only a few years ago this was extremely worrying. Check out was a whole other nigh**are in itself, with huge queues due to reception being seemingly confused by the check out process. We asked if they knew how getting our transfer works, and a huge wad of paper was thrown in front of us telling us to look for ourselves. This paperwork contained hundreds of guests personal information, their name, their transfer company, dates travelling, which is a huge data protection issue. We couldn't find our transfer info and so were told to contact easy jet as we wouldn't be picked up. Luckily, they had made another error and it turned up anyway. Lastly, you will be lied to by staff, a couple asked for a plug while we were at the reception and they were told they do not have plugs for the bath due to water shortages in Majorca because it doesn't rain?. However we pointed out we had been given one and knew others that had one and it wasn't a problem. After hearing this, the lady slammed her hands on the desk and got the guests a plug - clearly not happy about it. The only saving grace reception have is a blonde Irish lady who is lovely, saying hello to every guest and sorting a problem out no bother. Overall, everything else was what we expected for the price we paid, with the entertainment team being amazing, cleaners working hard to make sure we had clean rooms every day and the chefs constantly putting out fresh food.

Great hotel , all inclusive , tip top cleanliness, bedroom, pool area, dining area, snacks bar area, pool great, ten minute walk to lovely beach , lifts to floors, food good tho very restrictive and repetitive. Annoyed at the fact that WiFi is an extra cost , and if u have more than one device they charge u for each one , charge for TV remote, which is refundable . Clean towels everyday. Toilets clean . Queues can be big for drinks , but service is quick .lots for kids if u have them . I will definitely return 👍😀😍

Just back from our 2nd visit and it was just as impressive as last time. We’ve had a wonderful time. The hotel staff go out their way to help (Bethany) on reception is an absolute asset to the hotel, so helpful to everyone. It’s a lovely family hotel with plenty of activities going on for little ones. Food for the little ones could be improved we did struggle with our 1 year old grandson, and the upkeep of the rooms wasn’t as good as our last stay, but apart from that I wouldn’t hesitate to book again it certainly didn’t spoil it at all

Arrived late at 23:30. Greeted by a lovely welcoming receptionist called Bethany who answered all of our questions with ease and also gave advice about the area. A great welcome from her! The bar was closing at 00:00 so we managed a quick drink. The rooms are basic but clean and cleaned everyday. Air-con is also very good. Although there is no fridges in the rooms which was a downside! The location is quiet with several restaurants and a few bars. The beach is ideal within a 10 minute walk and is beautiful!! There is also the local public transport which is easily accessible we went to Puerto Christo and Cala D’Or using this. The food in the hotel is basic but good and I had no issues with the drinks there is also self service for soft drinks, coffees and slush. I found the 1 cup only policy frustrating I would prefer 2 per person but I recognise the reason for the hotel doing this as the pool area was very clean. The pool was large (very cold when we were there which cannot be helped) and there was always enough sun beds. Overall a lovely time away with friends but some aspects I would have preferred to others.

Just coming back after a week at the club Cala Romani, we were welcomed by the lovely Bethany who is a credit to the hotel she gave us all the information we needed to have a great stay, places to go things to do. The hotel room was basic but comfortable, cozy and spacious. The only down fall about the room was there was no fridge which was something that’s an added perk but managed well without. You also have to pay a 20euro deposit for a remote which you do get back. I didn’t do this but my friends did and said the remote didn’t work with the tv even after swapping multiple issues this isn’t a major issue though as it was background noise for sleeping. The pool area was huge with plenty of beds available all throughout the day which was amazing and despite the rule of no inflatables in the room they were still being used which is great for the kids or having a siesta on a lilo. All the staff we smart well presented and always getting involved with the kids and adults alike. I have very little complaints to raise, the only problem is token cup rule but when explained why it was in place it made sense, however the cups should be bigger which is also something that was manageable and if that is my main issue I clearly am trying to find a needle in the hay stack. The food was basic but edible with a great variety to choose from even for picky eaters like myself. The area is quiet but enough to do and keep yourself busy. We met some lovely people and had a great stay. We also got the bus to Porto Cristo to do the caves (drach) that was great and really beautiful with the added bonus of a boat ride. Not being able to use flash’s was annoying but understandable to the sheer volume of people in there. The beach is a close walk and is really beautiful little cove, not like most beaches, unspoilt and very clean. Overall a great holiday!

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. I arrived at this "family hotel" just before 9pm and was on a flight back home the next day at 4pm, not been 24hours I was here. Staff are unhelpful and rude, no point renting a tv remote you won't be able to watch anything in English, even though it did have an option to change it to English. It did not work. Staff scamming people with the new "change" I booked this holiday in January where it stated free internet access, entertainment every night and food available until midnight. However upon arrival I was told to pay €20 for every device, the entertainment was a joke, line of chairs and a tv, also a tv and speaker in the bar area. Food wasn't available after 9 from what staff said to me. ALSO DO NOT DRINK THERE COCKTAINS! Drinks are all from a single dispenser where I didn't even have half a drink and was violently sick all night.
