"Very nice location in the heart of the Sunshine Coast mountains very quite place in the forest, close to Gardner falls. Room nicely equipped with outside hot spa, fireplace, separate lounge, small kitchenette with Nepresso coffee machine, good range of lose leaf tea, full minibar, large shower. Quit location for resourcing. Nice walk in the park and to the nearby Gardners Falls (prized by local for swimming). Be aware of restaurant closed on Monday and Tuesday and so no room service avec 6pm on Monday and Tuesday. Very nice restaurant with Thai/Asian fusion chef style cuisine, full of flavors and interesting spicy mix. The staff is very helpful and caring."

"Stayed in Freda for 2 nights. Lovely freestanding accommodation but considering it is not part of the breakfast package it offers nothing in the way of a table or dining chairs if you choose to bring food home. This was not satisfactory at all."

Whispering Valley Cottage Retreat

"The most serene and peaceful spot to getaway from things. We took the kids and stayed in Tallowood cabin (2 bdrm, 2 bathroom). The view from the deck was amazing and we sat out there on the hammock and enjoyed nature even seeing wallabies bound past a few times. The bathtub overlooking the tranquil bushland was also amazing. Feeding the donkeys was a lovely experience for the kids and the owner was very accommodating and knowledgeable with this. It was a 10 minute drive to lots of activities to keep the kids happy too. We visited the Botanic gardens and bird centre, Mary Cairncross park and the Gardeners falls. All lovely. I hope to come back to Whispering Valley many times and only wish I could take the peaceful feeling back home with me!"

"Absolutely loved our two-night Romance package. Every aspect was tailored to cultivate a tranquil, sumptuously relaxing experience. The cabin was beautiful, with a gorgeous array of artwork and textures. Soft lighting, candles, and beautifully scented products, against a rainforest background created a beautiful setting. All the food was gourmet, with freshly baked croissants delivered every morning. Service was attentive, with all requests fulfilled. We also enjoyed a couples' massage conveniently in our room. If you are looking for a private and indulgent retreat, definitely come here."
