"The quality of sleep I got here was exceptional — it completely melted away all the exhaustion from my busy training days. This is the perfect place to unwind and recharge after a long day. One thing I really appreciated was the hospitality in the lobby — nearly every time I was waiting, the staff would kindly offer me complimentary drinks and coffee. It's a small gesture that makes a big difference and really shows they care about their guests' comfort. The service was excellent and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive throughout my stay. The only thing I'd say is that I didn't get the chance to try the breakfast or dinner buffet, so perhaps better promotion or flexible meal packages for busy guests could encourage more people to experience the full offering. But overall, a wonderful stay — highly recommended!"

"Not the cleanest the bathroom was horrible, dirty, floor didn’t look ever been mop The shower was dirty wasn’t even able to use it, every handle was covered in dirt Outside the bathroom they was something all over the wall, we asked multiple time to get help but no one come and clean it, this over 2 days Bathroom door handle was broken wouldn’t stay closed Both plugs by the bed didn’t work Overall wouldn’t stay at this hotel not worth the money, very poor quality and poor standards Staff wise the overall attitude was poor, the manager I’m assuming, we heard her moan to the staff about other guests and then Arguing with guest isn’t great Definitely need pick the time and place start rising her voice"

"Does not compare with the pictures on line. It’s a quirky fantastic location hotel and some staff were very helpful. I know the hotel is old but it was grubby and rooms not cleaned until you request it. Half used toilet rolls in room and if you stay there take your own hoover. When I queried the cleaning I was rudely answered by the woman behind the bar that it was an eco friendly hotel. Saving money on vacuum cleaner and cleaning products ?? If I wanted eco friendly I’d camp in a field. The grounds are spectacular and outside dining was great. It’s such a shame as it has once been great and has great potential but cutting corners spoils the overall impression ."

"Pros Nice location across from the River Thames, Family size room on 3rd floor very spacious, with comfy beds and nicely refurbished Ample free parking Friendly staff Bar area really nice and the terrace was lovely to sit out for evening drinks and also breakfast Cons No TV as advertised Lighting in room very bright, could do with softer lighting or addition of lamps, particularly if you have young kids. We ended up using our phone torches to slightly light up the room so as not to wake our daughter Windows in room very dirty, which was a shame as there was a nice view overlooking the Thames Bathroom attracted so many flies when the light was on and window open Sewerage smell in bathroom that seemed to appear in the night Shower looked new and as though it would be really good, but the pressure was quite poor. Despite the cons we thought the hotel was nice, superb location, nice art decor and the breakfast was ok."
