"Our room had beautiful ocean view and diamond head view which was exactly as I booked. The room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable. Overall, we had a great stay."
"Great location breakfast was ok passable. The place is a little dated. The costs in waikkiki are through the roof crazy. Not a fan of hawaii. Gold coast Aus is way better."
"Nice spot close to the beach. Rooms are clean and spacious but the building is a bit old. Pricey a bit. There are other similarly priced hotels that are a better deal for the money in the area. Building is only 20 floors - so ocean/mountain view is kinda limited. Breakfast is just okay. Its mostly the same menu everyday for people with dietary restrictions. Same fruit, yogurt, cereal, bread etc. no pancakes or waffles."
"Great staff—always willing to help. The lobby is really nice, with a beautiful aquarium and comfortable seating areas. The room is smaller compared to Hilton Hawaiian Village, but we loved the clean décor. Our balcony had an ocean view, which was really nice. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy. We would definitely stay here again."
"Location is great and near to Ala Moana Mall, beach park etc. Room is spacious and our room offers stunning view during sunset. Honolulu Coffee at the lobby is our favourite go-to for coffee & sandwiches."
"I usually book with the Marriott down the street whenever I’m in Waikiki but I opted to try the Hyatt for the first time; it was also a little cheaper than the Marriott the day that I went. I got a King room with a city view on the 7th floor. The room was large, clean and one of the corners of the tower so it had a curving layout. Overall the room was clean, bed was comfortable, A/C was cold. My only little gripe was in the bathroom, there weren’t any shampoos or conditioners or body wash in the tub like other hotels. Can’t say much for service since I was only there for a day but the employees I did interact with were friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay there again."
"Got a free upgrade to the mountain view ! Huge room, comfortable beds. Room service had good food with great prices. There is a mini golf next to the swimming pool and hot tub for free. Very close to waikiki beach , the location is perfect"
"Park Shore was a great hotel. Literally you walk out the door walk 100 feet and cross the street and you are on Waikiki Beach. The rooms are great but the room with even a partial view was fantastic. We stay there twice one night before the cruise and one night after. With a fabulous view of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach. The second floor has a restaurant which had 10% off if you stayed at Park Shores. Which I rate at 4. A bit of pricey but great food. The pool is located on the third floor which was great. Free water and coffee in the lobby. ABC store next door. Foods, gifts, drinks. Perfect location perfect price. "

SSevost13We stayed at this hotel from October 29 to November 4. Overall, the staff was polite and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided — which we appreciated. However, several issues significantly affected our experience. First, the accessible bathroom we specifically booked did not match the photos. There was no handheld shower head, which was important for us. Second, the mirror in the hallway was noticeably dirty upon arrival, with visible streaks from a wet cloth — quite unpleasant for a hotel of this level. I also reported that the faucet in the sink splashed water everywhere, soaking the countertop and the floor. I was told the issue would be checked, but nothing was fixed throughout our stay. The two-faucet system used to regulate water in the bathroom was also very inconvenient, and we consistently had problems with unstable hot water pressure. A separate major issue was the parking. I prepaid and reserved parking for 5 days, but on the second evening all the spots were already taken, and I was simply instructed to park in a different building nearby. This was extremely inconvenient — having to carry things from the 3rd floor of another parking structure and waste additional time. It turned out that even if you pay in advance, your parking spot is not guaranteed — anyone from outside can take it. So you pay, but end up without the service you were promised. Overall, the staff tried to provide good service, but the organizational issues, maintenance problems, and poorly managed parking system seriously reduced our comfort. Unfortunately, after this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.
GGuest UserVery pleased with our stay! Excellent location beachfront. Beautiful views of Diamond Head Crater. Super excellent location to be in the middle of all shops, beaches and restaurants . Short walks to explore & enjoy up and down the streets and beaches! All staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Clean and well maintained. Great assistance with booking activities. My daughter took a surf lesson. Beachside conveniently had plenty of water activities to enjoy with an area to rent paddle boards , surf boards, floats, chairs & umbrellas. The restaurants inside the resort were excellent and convenient with outdoor seating and ocean views! ABC general store on lower level to shop for anything needed from drinks, snacks, beach towels, souvenirs, sunscreen etc…The resort also offers free activities that are on a schedule week by week, such as yoga, hula lessons, Lei & bracelet making, vow renewals & ukulele lessons! My 15yo daughter took a ukulele lesson, then shopped around and bought one to bring home!!! We have absolutely no complaints about our stay! Will absolutely be coming back in the future. Our flight home was a late evening flight & our check out time was 11:00am, so the bell hop service held our luggage for us so we could enjoy the rest of our last day on the beach. Then we decided to top off our last day to pamper ourselves with a spa treat, which is located on the top floor of the resort. I got a massage. My daughter got a facial. Afterwards we got to go to the outside roof top and enjoy the awesome view feeling refreshed & relaxed. I can go on and on about the positives of this vacation stay. There were no negative issues!
GGuest UserHad a solo day trip and wanted to try Hotel La Croix because they had a penthouse room for under $300. The front desk staff were helpful and very eager and upbeat in a friendly way compared to other places where it seemed more forced or fake. Skyline Penthouse only had a city view and it was decent sized for the price. King sized bed with a massive tv across of it. Bathroom was around the corner of the tiny kitchenette area. My only complaint would be that the room did need some touching up. For example the manually operated push button curtains were frayed, torn and crumpled in some areas which were noticeable. The bathroom though clean, had some wear on the sink’s finish and there was a flapping panel on the wall near the toilet. Minor things but it didn’t help make the penthouse seem as exclusive. Location wise though it is walking distance to high end shopping, restaurants and the beach. It’s adjacent to more expensive hotels like the Ritz Carlton, so it’s a budget option in a great spot without having to break the bank for rooms.
GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay here. Every morning, I enjoyed breakfast on the balcony with a view of the lagoon and the ocean — it was absolutely beautiful. The building is a bit dated, but it is undergoing renovations, and even so, the property has five swimming pools, a lagoon, and easy beach access, which I really appreciated. One downside was that I was assigned a room in the Rainbow Tower with a connecting door. The noise from the neighboring room came through very clearly, almost as if it were in my own room, and the soundproofing was poor due to the connecting door. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the main Waikiki area, which felt a little far but still manageable on foot. Overall, I really enjoyed the facilities, the pools, and especially the lagoon.
GGuest UserAla Moana's location is excellent, so central to shopping and not far from airport or cruise terminal. Service desk specialily helpful. Quick service.
GGuest UserChose it for the airport pick up/drop off, what a pleasant surprise. Great receptionist, she got me into a room early after a long overnight flight. While room dated, it clean, full amenities and comfortable bed. Pool, restaurant and was given voucher for 2 drinks so enjoyed cocktails in the bar with very nice staff. The service was respectful and helpful. I’d stay there again.
GGuest UserThe room is big. The kitchen is fully equipped. You can cook, which is very convenient. It is very close to the beach business center. Very convenient. The service staff is very good.
GGuest UserExcellent location for the price. Hotel is mid but I got a real good deal out of it so not gonna complain. Great view if you get one of the upper floors
