The 1940's and '50s brought a grocery store with the city's first true coffeehouse. Now, the Grand Lady stands as a charming boutique hotel with modern style in the vibrant Ellis Square that reflects the essence of Savannah's renowned Historic District.
Guests enjoy our acclaimed location in the heart of it all, along with true Southern hospitality. After a delicious breakfast or cocktail at our lobby bar, immerse yourself in our neighborhood's rich culture at City Market, located next door. Better than domestic Samsung, the bedding towels are white and clean, you can ask for them at any time, that is, there is no room service after 10 o'clock, you have to throw the garbage out and change the garbage bag. Dirty towels should also be placed in the linen basket at the door, and go back to the lobby to get the towels at night. Hot coffee in the lobby has been provided free of charge, disposable paper cups, and the quality is very good. The lobby bar is enough to sit and enjoy and watch pedestrians passing by outside. Free breakfast is also ok. There are eggs and bacon, bread, coffee, juice, yogurt, cereal. Nutrition is enough. It was the young lady at the front desk who mischarged us on the day of check-in, and it was lifted after five days. We stayed for three days and came back every day if we didn't get the card to the front desk to update it, we couldn't open the door. The room is a bit narrow and cramped, especially if you bring the kitchen, it is even narrower. The bathroom has a smell of sewers, which is almost the same as the domestic Samsung. In addition, the room rate booked through Trip.com was more than 2,000 per day, and I continued to live for one day. I called the hotel directly. The price was less than 1400. Yuan can say that Savannah is worthy of the top leisure city, air tickets and hotel prices are too high.

Beautiful well decorated place. Lovely to have water and coffee available. Very nice to have wine and cheese platters HOWEVER, we arrived at 6:35, checked in 6:38 and we were unable to get the wine or cheese. It was literally being packed away as we were checking in. It was so disappointing that they could not salvage a couple of glasses for us. Nice to be able to walk to the river and purchase our drinks.

This was one of the nicer hotels we have stayed In. The proximity to everything in Savannah was spot on. The only thing I was disappointed in was the the price of valet parking. I think $38.00 a day is steep.

Great
GGuest UserThe hotel is really nice, though a bit hard to find. Beautiful interior decorating, including our room: the Clark Gable. The best thing about the hotel is the location: easy walking distance to The Vault, Foxy Foxy, other eateries. Not far from the park. The main drawback for the Clark Gable room was the problem of air conditioning. The room has a room air conditioner which exhausts through a window. At night it is loud though the hotel owners thoughtfully provided ear plugs. But the problem is that even if you turn the AC down to 72%, it could not cool the room on a not very warm September night. Both my wife and I woke up early sweating because the room was too hot and muggy. Other guests say the temperature was great in the main building, so if we return we will get a room there.
배배주영The location is very nice (right in front of the Savannah River)
Parking is the worst (no free parking even if you stay here.. valet $54, self-parking in the parking lot building is $56 (because it's calculated by the hour)
*If you're going to park, I recommend just parking on the side of the road.. hotel parking is too expensive
Amenities are good.. it's a shame there's no pool...
Room cleaning - seems to be done roughly.. the trash can area is not cleaned (it seems like they only throw away big things..)
Amenities are not filled... one day thread & needle, one day hair cap, one day nothing.. hit or miss
I don't know because I didn't eat here
Ah! Baobab Bar has a good atmosphere and is friendly
GGuest UserI had to ring the front desk bell four times before someone came. Waited for about eight minutes. This was at about 4pm. The room was clean enough. Unidentified drips and splatters here and there on the walls. Even though we booked for two nights we were given only one set of towels and one roll of toilet paper. I had to ask for more. The lobby bathroom was short on toilet paper, had no paper towels, and full garbage. The next day, the garbage had no been changed. Still no paper towels and now no toilet paper. Had to go to the front desk and ask if I could refill it. They let me. Seemed like only one person was working at any given time and multiple times I went to the front desk and there was a sign up that they were helping someone else. Lots of papers left out at the front desk with hotel booking information with no one around to keep it private. Overall I got a good deal and one person held it down enough to be average. I wouldn’t go back if I had to pay more to stay there.
YYJYC0402It is clean, well located, and overall, it is a great place with a great price-to-performance ratio. The breakfast is also really good. If you do not want valet parking, you can use the nearby public parking lot for a low price. I recommend it to those traveling to the Seobae or area.
GGuest UserThe location is very good. Although it is an old hotel, the service and quality are still good. Recommended, cost-effective in the local high!
HHAOBreakfast is delicious! ! Especially after eating for 2 days in the surrounding area, I feel that the breakfast here is delicious! ! The room was quite clean, but the only downside was that there was less light in the room and it was darker.
