CCarrHeatherRiver Spirit exceeded our expectations right from the beginning. I didn't realize that a shuttle from the airport to resort needed to be booked 24 hours in advance. I called when we landed and they sent someone to get us. Every staff member we encountered was polite, friendly, and helpful. Check in was a breeze. Our room was large. We had a view of the river, which was very high from recent storms. The bed was comfy. The toiletry products provided were very nice. Water, coffee, and tea was free in the room. Self-service drink stations with soft drinks, iced tea, coffee, lemonade were all over the casinos, and free. The pool area was clean and large. There were plenty of chairs. There was a swim up bar and regular bar with food. Towels were provided. We explored the fitness center. It had everything needed for a good workout. The prices for food and drinks were very reasonable, unlike other casinos we've been to. For example, domestic beer was $4.50 & imports were $5. A cheeseburger was $14. They had breakfast sandwiches for $4 as well. Our reason for going was a concert at the casino. That venue was very nice as well. The seats were comfy and no bad views. The sound was great. I played some blackjack and was happy to find $10 tables. It's a rarity now. I play for fun, so don't want to risk $25 per hand. The dealers were funny and professional. We walked from the resort to the aquarium. The Riverwalk path was beautiful and took us there. We rented Lime scooters to return. We will definitely be returning.

GGuest UserHotel was awesome. Very clean rooms with everything I needed. Me and my daughter came to attend a concert. It was very cold. We put our jackets on the back of the chairs while we ate breakfast. I went to my room to change and realized I’d left our coats there. I went back and they had been stolen. The manager pulled the camera and confirmed that they were stolen by two men. He didn’t know if the men were staying in the hotel or not which is concerning because they were eating breakfast. The door is open so anyone can just walk in and start eating.

GGuest UserVery clean room! Pillows were uncomfortable but most hotel pillows are. We thought there was going to be reception because online says they do a manager's reception with snacks and food Monday though Wednesday. So you guys might want to update that. So we ended up going out for dinner then over to The Mark. The pool was very cloudy but still did the job of cooling us off. Staff was very nice as well.

GGuest UserAlthough the hotel room is small, there is a bathtub for taking a bath, and the in-store swimming pool is also designed indoors, so you can also experience it in winter.

GGuest UserThe beds were super comfy and I wasn’t looking for anything extravagant but the construction threw me off which is probably why it was a little cheaper but what threw me off the most were the ants crawling over the breakfast buffet, the egg texture and non working pancakes. The only thing edible was the old/dry orange(s) but they did have coffee/tea (green). I’m sure once construction is finished it’ll be much nicer. I slept just fine.
