Special mention must go to Daniel, the bell boy, whose dedication to guest satisfaction went well beyond his duties, setting a remarkable standard for hospitality. The hotel's layout is thoughtfully designed, making navigation effortless for guests coming and going throughout their stay. Location-wise, the Grand Hotel Continental could not be better positioned. Stepping out of the main entrance, guests find themselves directly on Bucharest's main thoroughfare, with an abundance of restaurants, shops and cultural attractions within easy walking distance. The city's finest museums are mere minutes away, making it an ideal base for both leisure and business travellers. Whilst the breakfast was available, we found it rather expensive for what was offered. However, this was not an issue as we discovered a charming café directly across from the hotel that provided excellent morning fare at more reasonable prices. The rooms maintain the classical elegance found throughout the property, with comfortable furnishings and all modern amenities one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. The attention to detail in both the public spaces and private rooms reflects the hotel's commitment to maintaining its historic charm whilst providing contemporary comfort. In conclusion, the Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti offers a superb hotel experience in the heart of Romania's capital. Despite the breakfast pricing, which is easily remedied by numerous nearby alternatives, the hotel's outstanding service, perfect location and classical charm make it a splendid choice for anyone visiting Bucharest. All the bad reviews about this hotel are fake. Room is clean. Check in at 12pm if you have time. Bus and tram stop is 3 min walk. Train station is 10 min walk. Bus and tram to train station is available.

Nice little hotel A little gem in the heart of the city. Very friendly staff. When I return to Bucharest I would like to stay there again.

Location consider good. 9 mins walk from Piata unirii 1. Room is clean, common area clean, shower rooms clean. Kitchen consider clean as well.

This hostel has a fantastic location, very close to Bucharest city center, and within walking distance of nearby attractions and libraries. Wi-Fi is available in common areas with a stable speed. Best of all, they have self-catering facilities and a dryer, a lifesaver for long-distance travelers! The atmosphere in the common garden is also very relaxing. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would recommend it to all backpackers.
