I had such a lovely stay at the InterContinental. The staff were warm, attentive, and made my work anniversary extra special with a thoughtful gesture. The room was spotless, the atmosphere elegant yet relaxing, and everyone we encountered was genuinely friendly. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of options. Everything was perfect — I highly recommend staying here!

I stayed at Moxy Bucharest Old Town from 22–25 August 2025 and really enjoyed my experience. The hotel is in a great location, right in the heart of the Old Town, which made it easy to explore the city on foot. The room was very clean and comfortable, perfect for a short city break. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with any questions. Overall, a modern and well-run hotel that I would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Bucharest.

The hotel exudes classic elegance, and the service was nothing short of exceptional. Special mention must go to Daniel, the bell boy, whose dedication to guest satisfaction went well beyond his duties, setting a remarkable standard for hospitality. The hotel's layout is thoughtfully designed, making navigation effortless for guests coming and going throughout their stay. Its pristine cleanliness and classical architecture create an atmosphere of refined luxury that perfectly complements its historical surroundings. Location-wise, the Grand Hotel Continental could not be better positioned. Stepping out of the main entrance, guests find themselves directly on Bucharest's main thoroughfare, with an abundance of restaurants, shops and cultural attractions within easy walking distance. Whilst the breakfast was available, we found it rather expensive for what was offered. However, this was not an issue as we discovered a charming café directly across from the hotel that provided excellent morning fare at more reasonable prices. The rooms maintain the classical elegance found throughout the property, with comfortable furnishings and all modern amenities one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. The attention to detail in both the public spaces and private rooms reflects the hotel's commitment to maintaining its historic charm whilst providing contemporary comfort. Our stay at the Continental Hotel in Bucharest was mostly pleasant and comfortable. The hotel itself is well-maintained, offering a great ambiance and excellent amenities. The food served at the restaurant was delicious, and the restaurant staff were warm, accommodating, and attentive to our needs. However, our experience at check-in left something to be desired. The female front desk staff member we interacted with was not particularly helpful. When we asked if the tap water was safe to drink, her response was dismissive, stating she didn’t know and suggesting we purchase water from the hotel instead. Similarly, when we inquired about the possibility of an early breakfast due to our early departure for a day trip to Peles Castle, she was uncooperative and rigid, insisting breakfast was strictly served at 6:30 AM. Thankfully, the restaurant staff went above and beyond. When we arrived at 6:15 AM, they graciously opened the doors early and welcomed us, allowing us to grab some food before we left. Their professionalism and kindness turned around what could have been a frustrating situation.

What a beautiful hotel! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It wasn’t a great location to walk to many of the sites in Bucharest. Good morning breakfast buffet was well worth it! Thank you to Mr. Christian for his kindness & professionalism. Even the elevator always smelled nice!

Nice little hotel A little gem in the heart of the city. Very friendly staff. When I return to Bucharest I would like to stay there again.

Location consider good. 9 mins walk from Piata unirii 1. Room is clean, common area clean, shower rooms clean. Kitchen consider clean as well.
