GGuest UserThe location is convenient, just a 6-minute drive to downtown Dunedin, and within 3 minutes there are various dining options. The Botanical Garden is right next door. The room was clean and a good size, though the closet in the loft was a bit small. Going downstairs to use the restroom at night was also a bit inconvenient. Furthermore, the loft doesn't have a stove for cooking, only a microwave, and there's no drying rack for dishes and cutlery. The best part is the free self-service washer and dryer, but they can't be used after 9:00 pm.

小小妞兒This hotel is very close to the city center, making it convenient to go anywhere. There's also parking right outside the hotel entrance, which is great for travelers with cars. The rooms have a lovely artistic feel, and the outdoor spaces are also filled with an artistic atmosphere. I loved it!

GGuest UserOverall, this accommodation was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The unit was very spacious, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean upon arrival, which immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease. The layout was practical and suitable for both short and longer stays, with ample space to move around and relax.
One of the biggest advantages was how easy the place was to locate. Clear directions and a convenient location made check-in smooth and stress-free, especially after a long journey. The surrounding area was also quiet and pleasant, allowing for a restful stay.
Cleanliness was clearly a priority, from the rooms to the common areas, which we truly appreciated. Overall, this accommodation offers great comfort, convenience, and value. We would definitely recommend it to others and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

GGuest UserThus hotels most appealing benefit is its location. It’s a short walk to the octagon, historical railway station and the excellent (and free admission) Pioneer Museum. It’s a short is also only a couple of streets from George Street which has lots of shopping and restaurants. A block away is a large supermarket for groceries. The room size is adequate with a fridge and kettle. The carpet could use a good cleaning. The main issue was with the shower. It has no enclosure and although the floor is sloped towards the drain we had to put towels around the floor to stop water from running everywhere. The towels and bath mat naturally got soaked. For the price and location I would recommend this hotel if you are. It looking for anything upscale.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the city center, only 5 minutes walk to the First Church and about 10 minutes to the train station. Parking is convenient and there are many places to eat. When checking in, there is no front desk and you have to call. The hotel is old but very clean. The elevator is too old and a bit scary. I bought bread for breakfast at the supermarket. There are bowls and basins.

IiloveiceThe so-called living in a castle is actually a room converted from a stable. The room is very small and the shapes inside the room are also different, so it is easy to hit your head.
But apart from the above objective conditions, I think all the aspects are good. The breakfast is very good. You eat on the first floor of the stable. The coffee is amazing. The water and milk in the small refrigerator upstairs are very good. The waiter is very responsible for introducing each family and taking them to check in.
The so-called castle is a relatively large house, not even as big as some old houses of Fujian people. It cannot be considered as a castle. The garden... well... is not as flowery as the Imperial Garden of the Forbidden City. The plants are mainly succulents. It is not necessary to expect to see flowers, but it is also a feature.
The most recommended is dinner. You can make an appointment for dinner when staying here. It is a rare highlight of the food in this New Zealand trip. There are only four dishes, which are exquisite and attentive, and taste good. If you don't mind sharing the hall with strangers, you can experience the long table dinner and have a drink and chat with the neighbors who live in the stable that night. The English spoken in one night is almost the sum of the past two years. It is very relaxing and happy.

First of all, there is a lot of cleanliness. The shared space is beautiful and all the guests use it cleanly. Each room is also beautiful, and it is also great that the bed on the lower stage has a curtain and can be closed.
We are also prepared to drink hot chocolate and tea. New Zealand was cold in autumn, so I was very happy to have a warm drink when I returned to the hostel.
It was an early check-out in the morning with a late check-in, but he contacted me in advance and responded politely.
Also, it was a nice hotel that I would like to stay!

The hotel is at the northernmost end of Danidine, with a beautiful environment and free parking, but a bit far from the city center, about 2km, need to drive out, we parked the car in the supermarket parking lot in the city center, free parking for 90 minutes.

JJimmy正I stayed at the Law Courts Hotel recently, and it was a bit of a mixed experience. The building is very old and hasn’t had much renovation. The bathroom still has those separate hot and cold taps, which are inconvenient, and the carpet looked quite worn and not very clean—it definitely feels like the place could use some updating.
That said, the location is fantastic—right in the heart of Dunedin, so it’s super convenient for getting around. It’s also very affordable, which is a big plus if you’re on a budget. Just keep in mind that being so central means it can be noisy; Saturday night, in particular, was hard to sleep through with all the street noise.
Overall, if you’re after a budget-friendly place in a great location and don’t mind the quirks of an older hotel, it’s worth considering. But if you’re looking for something more modern and comfortable, you might want to look elsewhere.
