GGuest UserWe stayed in this Guest House for 6 nights and then in other places in Sri Lanka, and I want to say that this is the best place of all that we visited. Very close to the sea, there is a cafe nearby. Initially, we were afraid of the noise from the road, but everything was great. We felt completely safe and were not afraid to leave valuables. Breakfasts were excellent and the coffee was super.

RRobby123From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by wonderfully friendly staff at the reception desk, and our positive impression continued when we saw our room. It was incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean and a perfect space to relax in.
Unfortunately, our enthusiasm dipped when we looked out the window. We had eagerly anticipated the sea view we booked, but found ourselves on the first floor looking directly onto the main path to the restaurant. The lack of both a view and privacy was a real disappointment.
The challenges were compounded by a local festival taking place during our stay. This rendered the beach unusable due to the sheer volume of people. Worse, the road closures made leaving the hotel a logistical headache, leaving us feeling a bit trapped. A final frustration was discovering there were no shops nearby and no convenience store in the hotel itself, so be sure to pack everything you might need.
In summary, while we can't fault the hotel on its cleanliness or the friendliness of its staff, the experience was significantly hampered by the room mix-up and the festival chaos. It wasn’t a bad stay, but it was far from the relaxing getaway we had planned.

ДДенис КаI really liked the hotel, I was on holiday with my wife and child, everyone was delighted. The service is excellent, the food is varied, there are restaurants with a certain cuisine, but you need to book them in advance. The pools are clean, there are a lot of sun loungers. The reception will always help, there is a currency exchange. The ocean is a couple of meters away, there are local barkers on the beach, offering excursions.

Nearby are fish and fruit markets, bus station, currency exchange, supermarkets, wine shops and most importantly, 4 minutes walk to the clean Hikki beach. The service staff at the hotel coped with their tasks at the highest level. I have not seen a room cleaned so clean for a long time. Snow-white bed linen. I was in a room with a sea view ... a huge balcony with a dryer with a table and chairs. The water is constantly hot. Kettle, refrigerator, adapter, hair dryer - everything is in the room. Most importantly, there is a shared, clean kitchen - where there is a microwave, oven for baking, stove. And all this is perfectly clean. Many thanks to the owner of the hotel Rajesh - he met and saw off like an expensive guest! I recommend it with all my heart, because I have tested it myself)))

DDoufutravelsThis stay was the highlight of our trip in Sri Lanka. The room is in the heart of nature, and you’re surrounded by the sounds of the wild, fresh air away from the roads, and the peace and quiet that comes with a more intimate stay. Additionally, the breakfasts have been our favourite, especially the hoppers! It was all fresh and Sri Lankan style, served with the jungle in front of us. One morning, we had monkeys. Another, chipmunks. One special night, we had fireflies. The location was exceptional.
However, it was Praneeth who really made this place special for us. We had great conversations, and he even recommended me a great birdwatching app. One night, we chatted for a couple of hours and I learned so much about this beautiful country. Genuinely, Praneeth is a huge value to Jungle Loft. He was attentive, thoughtful and a wonderful representation of the kindness Sri Lankan people exude. Thank you so much, Praneeth for your warmth!
I can’t recommend Jungle Loft enough. It’s an ideal location, it’s private, it’s beautiful, and you’ll be looked after. Go for it!!

ННатали ЖидковаI'm so glad I booked this hotel; for $45 a night, we practically got a European four-star. Yes, there's some road noise, but by the third day we'd gotten used to it. We stayed in room 309, which we upgraded from 204, and cars will practically drive past your windows. If you're a light sleeper, be sure to bring earplugs. Across the street, there's a beautiful lounge area; we spent a couple of evenings watching the sunset there. 😍 The room has all the amenities, even a TV. When the hotel is busy, the buffet is excellent.
I recommend this hotel if you value value for money.

GGuest UserOur room was conveniently located right by the pool entrance, making swimming incredibly easy! It faced the ocean, but the waves were too rough for swimming, so we could only enjoy walks along the beach. As it was the weekend, the hotel had children's activities and evening shows. The buffet was very generous, and the desserts were delicious. A big thank you to Jayaru who checked us in; they discovered it was my birthday the next day and surprised me with a birthday cake at breakfast.

NNoor07Had a great time and enjoyed some truly stunning views 😍 The staff were lovely and friendly but at times had to request or remind them about certain things, perhaps because we’re South Asians as most guests seemed to be Western. Some amenities listed such as toothpaste, toothbrush, slippers and a razor were not provided which was a little disappointing considering the price paid. Also noticed a few stains on the toilet floor and white curtains though it wasn’t a major issue. The breakfast buffet was good but wish there had been more variety. Overall had a lovely and memorable stay and really enjoyed the trip with my best friend.

GGuest UserWe can not say enough good things about our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. The entire staff was welcoming and attentive to details. We arrived at 3:00am and the hotel had prepared some fruit and sandwiches for our arrival. My wife is celiac and the staff did an amazing job ensuring there were food options available for her. They even prepared traditional Sri Lankan food for us to try. The beach club gets very busy during the day but we still felt like the only guests there. This place has a great island vibe with music and different entertainment daily. We will definitely be returning before the end of our trip.

When I arrived, there was no one there. I opened the gate and walked in. I called the number to the property and the person who answered arrived shortly thereafter. He said no one was there because of the New Year holiday. He showed me to my room. I asked for one in the back, but he said he was having a party and that might be too much for me. After I got settled into a clean room in the front facing the traffic, there was no towel or soap.
Late at night after I was asleep, I was startled by someone who began banging on my door and turning the knob several times to get in. I yelled at that person and told him to stop. It did stop and afterward, I felt completely unsafe. I got up to put my heavy suitcase at the door to prevent the intruder from coming in.
The staff person had said to me that he was having a party, but then said it was cancelled. There were several men at the property when I returned in the evening. I'm not sure who the perpetrator was maybe it was one of them. There is no peep hole and the windows are frosted. I felt completely vulnerable. I didn't even think to call the staff person because I was frightened and sleepy. My advice is to be cautious if you stay here.
