Hotels near Mangwon-dong, Seoul

I just love the design and ambience here with its co-working space concept. So you will see different kind of peoples doing their work, sharing the ideas, having their meals here. Talk about facilities, They provide very big kitchen for you to cook or meal prep, dining table in and out, many sofas, working desk, massage chairs, paid laundry service with very affordable prices. During cold weather or winter times, heaters are switched on for the whole hotel to keep you warm. I will definitely come back here again next time.

The hotel is roughly equidistant from Jeungmi and Deungchon stations on Line 9. Jeungmi is a bit closer but involves a steep incline, while Deungchon is slightly further but has a gentler slope. We opted for Jeungmi Station for both arriving at and departing from the hotel. Incheon Airport is about an hour away by subway. The hotel also provides information on airport buses, but they are significantly more expensive than public transport. Since we were already heading to the subway, we decided to stick with it. Moreover, we had purchased a Climate Card (15,000 KRW for 5 days of unlimited travel), which covered our airport journey as well. The most convenient way to get around from the hotel is by bus. Bus 6712 is a must-remember: it takes you to Hapjeong Station for transfers to Subway Lines 2 and 6, or directly to Hongdae. We used this bus daily. Definitely download Naver Maps for navigation! The hotel rooms are quite spacious, equipped with both air conditioning and underfloor heating. However, I was baffled by the bathroom's lack of a proper wet/dry separation. There's a glass screen, but it doesn't seal at the bottom, and there's no curb in the shower area to contain the water. Consequently, after every shower, the entire bathroom floor would be soaked. I ended up having to huddle in a corner just to shower. Despite its generous size, the bathroom's design is very impractical. There's a convenience store conveniently located on the ground floor, and the lounge area is quite spacious. We noticed a lot of tour groups from Southeast Asia staying here. Unfortunately, the hotel's soundproofing isn't great. We could often hear the tour groups quite loudly when they left early in the mornings or returned late at night.

The location is great, right between two subway stations, making it really convenient to get anywhere. The bed was super comfortable; I slept wonderfully every night I stayed here. It was also fun to meet many other solo female travelers. They offer milk, cereal, and bread in the morning, which I thought was pretty tasty! Highly recommend it! I think I'd choose this place again next time I visit. I forgot to take other pictures, so here are two of the breakfast, haha! 🍳

For this price, the quality of accommodation is outstanding – incredible value for money! Everything was excellent, with no noticeable shortcomings. It's truly worth every penny and a great choice for both business trips and family vacations. The owner even provided freshly ground coffee, which was a lovely touch!

The room was cozy, perfect for one person and still comfortable for two. It was extremely clean, with a large TV and a mirror that wasn't facing the bed, which I really appreciated. There were no noisy appliances either (many hotels have mini-fridges that hum, but this one was silent and very peaceful). It had a double-door entry system – you take off your shoes at the first door and put on slippers after the second. The soundproofing wasn't great, but it still felt very welcoming. Photos don't do it justice; it's much better in person, I highly recommend it! Downstairs, there's a microwave and two seats, so you can eat and charge your devices. Even though check-in is officially at 10 PM, they allowed me to check in a bit earlier since there was availability. I accidentally left some clothes behind when I left, and the staff kindly kept them safe for me. I then arranged for SF Express to pick them up and send them back home.

I highly recommend this hotel! Here's why: 1. **Convenient Location**: It's less than 1km from Hongdae subway station, easily walkable. There are also many bus stops about 300m away, making it easy to get to many places! 2. **Close to Hongdae's Main Hub**: Right outside, you're in the bustling heart of Hongdae. It's very lively but not noisy, as it's just around a corner. This also has the added benefit of feeling safer. As a solo female traveler, I usually worry about returning late to secluded areas, but here, it's perfectly fine! It's neither loud nor isolated! 3. **Excellent Service!** * **24/7 Snacks**: They offer a wide variety of bread, drinks, and fruits. Drinks include milk, orange juice, apple juice, and soda. There are 6 types of bread, plus cereal and jams. * **Laundry Facilities**: A washing machine and dryer are available and frequently used. * **Great Hairdryer**: The hairdryer is powerful, not one of those weak ones, and feels quite premium. * **Decent Shampoo**: The shampoo was surprisingly good! I expected my hair to feel dry, but it didn't! It was quite smooth afterward, though I did use my own conditioner. * **Separate Dorm Floors**: Female dorms are on the first floor, and male dorms on the second. The first floor has two toilets, two sinks, and three showers, so it never feels crowded and is very clean! 4. **Very Clean**: Both the rooms and common areas are spotless, with no unpleasant odors. This is a big plus! 5. **Luggage Storage**: Luggage storage is available in a separate room near the building entrance, which is very convenient. You can drop off your luggage right after arriving from the airport and pick it up before you leave. (If you have a climate card, you basically don't need to spend extra on transportation.) The only minor drawback is the lack of individual reading lights in each bed, which can be a bit inconvenient.

Had a fantastic stay! The guesthouse was super easy to find and conveniently located near two subway stations, like Hapjeong Station. You check in at the bar on the first floor, and they even offer free luggage storage, which was great. There was a live performance on Friday during my stay, which was a lovely surprise! The rooms have keypads for entry, and the common areas were neat and clean. The beds were also very hygienic, which I really appreciated. Plus, there's a buffet breakfast every morning at a set time. Highly recommend if you're traveling around the Hongdae area!

The hotel occupies a couple of floors in a multi-story building, located right in the heart of the fashionable Red Road pedestrian street. Since it's at the end of the street, you don't get the wild partying that happens further down, so there's no street noise. It's about a kilometer from a couple of metro stations, and shops, cafes, clubs – everything you could want – are nearby. I had a bit of trouble finding the hotel at first, relying on local navigation. There's no hotel name at the entrance, just a sign for a 'Hair shop.' The entrance is off Red Road, which is listed on navigation apps. I stayed there for 5 days on the 5th floor. The communal kitchen is one floor up and is fully equipped: every kitchen appliance and utensil you could need. As a bonus, the hotel prepares rice daily for guests and also offers eggs and kimchi, with the rice kept warm. This was incredibly pleasant and convenient; you absolutely won't go hungry here. I've never encountered such a service anywhere else. I was quite satisfied. I stayed in two hotels in Korea, the second being in Busan, and I was genuinely impressed by how much the hotel owners cater to the real needs of their guests. My single room was small but perfect: warm, with underfloor electric heating that you can adjust yourself. The room also had smoke detectors, a fire extinguisher, and even a flashlight. I've never seen such attention to guest safety anywhere else in the world.

Very good accommodation, with a hair dryer, very good bed, warm blanket, kind owner. It just so happened that I went to a concert held nearby, so I chose this place. The transportation is very convenient, walking from the accommodation to the concert is less than ten minutes. Around the accommodation, there are many restaurants, there are also convenience stores. You can walk around there easily. Coming back from the concert at night is not scary because there are always people coming and going in that area. Plus, this place is close to Hapjeong BTS station. It is convenient to take a bus from Incheon Airport. It is very convenient. If I go to Korea again, I want to stay here again.

This was my first time staying in a hostel in Korea, and it was a much better experience than I expected! 🫶🏻 First off, the accommodation environment was great, and the bed was really comfortable! I stayed in a four-person room, which had individual lockers. If you open your suitcase on the floor, it might take up a bit of space. The curtains offered excellent blackout, so you don't have to worry about others turning on a night light and disturbing you. If you check in during the day, the owner is usually at the front desk and will enthusiastically show you around and explain all the facilities (they speak Chinese, so communication is seamless! 👍🏻). The only thing to note is that the shower room might be a bit cramped, so you might need to coordinate times with your roommates. Secondly, the location is quite good. After exiting Hapjeong Station, it's about a 6-8 minute walk, passing by Olive Young and Daiso. Downstairs, there's also a Mega Coffee and a GS25, which is really convenient!
