"The hotel is relatively old-fashioned, so you have to insert the key to have electricity. This is the first time I have seen it. The space is very enough. When I take a shower, it takes a long time to turn on the hot water. However, the room price is very low, so I don’t ask for much. There is a parking lot next to it for 750 yen. Park for one night."

The hotel is a new building I would say, very close to the station. There is a 7/11 store on the 1st floor which is very convenient. The room is very spacious, has everything you might need. Also you can take all the necessary items such as face creams, toners, lotions, hair oils, toothbrushes, hair ties, teas, coffees etc. at the front desk. Absolutely wonderful experience!"

"The location of the hotel is excellent—it is located right inside the train station. All the shopping areas are within the same mall where the hotel is situated, which is extremely convenient. The hotel room is spacious, and the view is beautiful, allowing you to enjoy the town scenery directly from the room."

"A small, simple room that was perfectly adequate for one night, with all the necessary amenities (refrigerator, kettle, etc.). There was a massage chair in the room, as well as an old radio. The room was clean; however, I set the thermostat to 30 degrees Celsius, but the heating didn't seem to come on. I was able to easily visit Yama-dera Temple thanks to the proximity to the train station and leave my 20kg bag at reception after checkout."

"This hotel is located conveniently. There are railway stations and bus terminals near. You can use this hotel as a base and visit other places by public transport. Some travelers live in this hotel and go to Zao Onsen ski resort for skiing or snowboarding. There are a lot of places to eat or go shopping."

"Located on the top of a business building linking to the Yamagata station. You won’t have to be worried even if it’s snowing or raining. A side note to travellers from the hotter climate, the hotel doesn’t supply air conditioning during winter. Instead it has a small webbed facility that allows outside air to flow into the room. This slight chills the room. However during the day, the room will be super hot. Initially we had a room facing the sun and when we checked in, the room is super hot. Called the customer service only to find out they didn’t have air conditioning during winter and we have to rent a fan from them. After a slight communication, the customer service is kind enough to upgrade us to a bigger room which is slightly cooler. Big props to the customer service lady! 5 stars service !"

"Spacious room, comfortable bed. We had noisy guests in the room next to us, but the staff allowed us to move to a quieter room which was appreciated. The facilities were a bit dated, however the location is excellent."
