"We had a great stay here and really enjoyed the experience. Check-in was easy and efficient, either via the self check-in machine or with staff assistance. The lobby has a cozy, MUJI-style ambiance and provides all the basic necessities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, tea bags, lotion, and more. You can also borrow a face steamer or hair dryer near the lobby lifts, which is a nice touch. On the second floor, there are drink vending machines, an ice machine, and two washer–dryer machines. One note: I don’t recommend using the dryer—it took us almost 2 hours to dry our clothes. The room itself is standard but comfortable. A big thank you to the staff for reading and preparing for my special request in advance—I truly appreciate the effort and attention to detail. The toilet is clean and spacious, WiFi connection is good, and everything was well maintained. Breakfast is provided, and you’ll need to bring the voucher with QR code to scan before entering. There’s a good variety of Japanese and Western food, so it’s easy to find something you’ll enjoy. Overall, we really loved our stay here and would definitely come back again on our next trip. Highly recommended! 😊"
"My husband and I had a great mini 4 days /3 nights vacation. Nice professional staff, very helpful and courteous. Housekeeping staff is commendable , so polite, quiet and always busy. Very hardworking !! Loved the location and all the markets nearby. Great restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Within an hour to Kamakura, Fujisawa and Enoshima. We will definitely to stay there on our next trip. Thank you!"
"The location of the hotel is excellent — just a few minutes’ walk from the train station and bus stops, with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. The staff were very friendly throughout check-in, our stay, and checkout. One thing that truly made us feel taken care of was the luggage service: we arrived too early to check in and left our bags with the front desk, and when we returned later, our luggage had already been placed in our room. It was such a thoughtful touch, especially after a long day of traveling, and it really made a difference in our experience. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back the next time we visit Kamakura!"
"Cozy hotel close to station. Friendly staff. Even have a small public bath that relaxes you body after the long day walk. Oh and the simple but heartwarming late night snack too."
"Fantastic hotel and conveniently located close to the heart of the city and the train station. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay."
"We went as a family, rooms are very spacious. You have everything needed. I like the idea that they even provide small samples from some local brands to help the local business I guess. They use Polar shower series which like a lot. Location is great too, our balcony could see Mt Fuji directly if the weather is clear."
"My dream was a spending a night in Japanese house with a traditional breakfast and I finally had this experience. I had heard about Bushi-san before, but in real life he turned out to be an even nicer person than I imagined. A lot of my friends like to travel to Japan. And now I persuade each of them to visit Kamakura, and I highly recommend everyone to stay here. It was absolutely wonderful"
"Conveniently located around many restaurants and attraction sites. It's old , rustic and got a charm, but definitely a backpacker experience for those who may see if the pictures may mean a host/bnb home. Overall I enjoyed it a fair amount! Did hikes and close walk to the sea too!"

Great
GGuest UserHostel location is 10 - 15 mins walk with big luggage from JR Kamakura station. Easy to find. Very considerate room layout design to separate shower room, toilet and washing basin which makes easy for 3 - 4 people sharing the quadrate room. Good value for money. I will come again in October.
GGuest UserAbsolutely great experience. Villa is very comfortable. The host provided everything: towels, toiletries, washing liquid - end everything is top quality! Also kitchen is well equipped and there was a supply of tea and coffee, cooking oil, seasoning. Plus there you can find everything for beach holiday - umbrella, backpacks. In a wrod everything you need is forseen and provided, and the everything is high end quality. Plus he sent us a guid on local attractions, food and places of interest. Highly recommended! I'd definitely stay there again.
RRizhaomengnvThe owner speaks excellent Chinese and English, and is a wonderful person! The guesthouse is super close to the beach, and the owner provides a helpful overview of the surrounding area during check-in. It's also very near Enoden, making it incredibly convenient to get to Kamakura Koko-mae and Shichirigihama. Due to my itinerary, I didn't make it to Enoshima, but it would have been super easy to get there via Enoden! I booked a dormitory room and shared it with a German family; it was completely quiet at night as other guests were very considerate. The beds were clean and tidy, a really great experience!
GGuest UserLovely stay at this guest house. Friendly and welcoming owners that made us feel at home during our short stay. The bedroom and facilities were very clean. The location is walkable to the Kamakura kokomae station. The surroundings were very peaceful and the views of the coastline was very beautiful. Possible to see Mt Fuji from the beach on a clear day.
PPingshanyuanchenAlthough small, it has everything and is well equipped. The hotel is in a good location, close to the bus station and convenient to tourist attractions. It is suitable for 2 people and preschool children. If 3 people live there, they can't even open the boxes, so choose carefully. The reliability of facilities needs to be improved. The door lock of our room was not very good. We had to wait for the staff to help open it at 9:00 in the morning, which was a bit time-consuming.
