JJethro_NganAfter picking up our rental car at Fukuoka Airport, we drove straight to Hotel Okura JR Huis Ten Bosch. The hotel itself is like a grand castle, perfectly blending in with the nearby Huis Ten Bosch theme park – quite a spectacular sight! The room was incredibly spacious, which is a rare find in Japan. We also highly recommend the buffet lunch in the hotel lobby; it offered a good variety of dishes at a reasonable price. Definitely worth trying!

TTCYLWe had a connecting room facing Huis Ten Bosch. There's a private entrance that people staying at Hotel Nikko can use to get into the amusement park which closes at 9.30am.
If you are early, you can check in first and leave your luggage. The staff will bring them to the room when the room is ready while we went to the amusement park.
The facilities are dated but clean. There's onsen that we can use and the breakfast spread is tasty 😋

GGuest UserGreat space for family of 4. Huge bedroom and bathroom. Has separate toilet room and bath tub room and dresser room. You get what you pay for. Serves nice amenities. Branded Tea and Coffee and Toiletries. Perfect for enjoying Huis Ten Bosch as it has great location. Offered us free next day pass. Amazing! Enjoyed our stay.

SssxllExtremely convenient, just across the road from the station. Check-in isn't until after 3 PM, but you can drop off your luggage beforehand. The room, though a bit dated, was very clean and spacious. They also provide free water. We skipped breakfast since we were checking out early the next day. But the hot springs are fantastic! The open-air bath even offers a view of the Ferris wheel at Huis Ten Bosch. Highly recommend it!

GGuest UserAdvantages: There is a shuttle bus, there are not many restaurants around the hotel, and there are many options for taking the shuttle bus to the port to eat. It's just a few steps away from the 99 Island ferry.
Disadvantages: Most of the breakfast is cold food, there are not many choices, and the taste is very average.
The hygiene was very poor. There were hairs on the toilet seat, so I had to disinfect it with alcohol pads and put on a toilet sanitary pad. There are also hairs on the bathroom floor. When staying in a hotel in Japan, I rarely use the WeiLi washing machine provided in the room. I only know that few hotels will disinfect it. When I opened the seat cushion cover, the rinse head of the WeiLi washing machine stuck out. It was so dirty that it made me sick. Seriously affect your mood.
I booked a room that said I could see the sea, but I couldn't see it at all. . . I don’t want to talk anymore.
Will not be returning.

GGuest UserThe room was spacious, but some of the electrical outlets were faulty, and the switches had issues! I told the staff, but they didn't do anything to fix it. It's not close to the main entrance of Huis Ten Bosch; you have to walk a bit. However, there is a small path from the hotel that leads there. The fridge wasn't cold enough, so my ice cream melted. Overall, it was still okay. The big bonus was that staying at this hotel meant you could buy one day's Huis Ten Bosch ticket and get the second day free! I didn't know about this offer beforehand, so it was a pleasant surprise and definitely a huge plus! It's great value for money, and I would stay here again if I visit Huis Ten Bosch in the future.

AaudenvNot far from the station, there is a small slope. The hotel has a little time, but it still maintains the small and full tradition of Japanese hotels. The room is ok, the bathroom is too small, especially the bathtub, is U-shaped, but the end is relatively narrow, and it is particularly uncomfortable to wash. And when booking, breakfast is not included, there is no place to eat nearby, a bit embarrassing. I can run the station to buy something to eat.
