GGuest UserThis hotel offered the best value for money during this trip. It's not far from Toyama Station. It's a five- or six-minute walk from the North Exit, and there's a 7-Eleven diagonally opposite. It's about a ten-minute walk to the Kansui Park, and you can also visit the museum there. Even going to the City Hall for the night view is only about a ten-minute walk. Take the tram from the North Exit of Toyama Station to Nishimachi; the glass museum is right there.

GGuest UserStayed here a night in Toyama before embarking on the Alpine route. Familiar, comfortable room amenities as expected from the Comfort Hotel chain, with a good breakfast spread inclusive. 5 minutes walk from Toyama JR Station and 7 minutes walk with luggage from Toyama Dentetsu line to Kurobe Gorge and Tateyama. Note that you still need to bring your luggage to Dentetsu Station for luggage forwarding service, you cannot do it from the hotel. I asked for a high floor room that overlooked the station/mountains - I did get a high floor room but a side view of the building beside the hotel. Tip: buy supplies from the supermarket in the mall opposite before going up the mountains. There are also Toyama souvenirs, great eki bentos, firefly squid and white shrimp tempura tendon and black ramen in Toyama JR Station nearby.

DdanthetravellerThis hotel is a perfect place for our one day stay. And one of the best things at this hotel is a very generous number of amenities provided to guests - bath pads, body sponge, toothbrush kit, and many others. Even though the location is a bit far from Toyama JR station, it’s not hard to find, and it’s quite walkable from the station. The lady at the reception was super nice. She reminded us of what Japanese are really like. If I get a chance to visit his tower again in the future, I would definitely come back to this hotel.

YYizhichuanartExcellent! Breakfast and dinner were both Japanese cuisine. The service was great, and it's conveniently located just 500 meters from Toyama Station. The courtyard near the restaurant, with trams passing by frequently, gave it a homey feel.
