GGuest UserGreat place to stay. I was lucky with neighbours and with earplugs didn't hear anything. People start moving from 8-9 am, so it's not a place for late birds. Enough toilets, showers, space. I stayed there for a night and then booked another one. I would stay even longer, but they didn't have rooms. Everything is clean and good looking. Very nice place. I will stay there again if I'm in Shizuoka.

GGuest UserSeeing the spectacle view of Fuji Mountain was such a nice experience. The hotel provided bath salts and all necessities in the room. The receptionist was very helpful. We enjoyed a perfect moment in the restaurants of the hotel. The Japanese restaurant Fukkian was especially nice for the free breakfast included! Worth a try!

GGuest UserI had a very pleasant stay at Garden Hotel Shizuoka. The location is excellent, with easy access to Shizuoka Station, shopping areas, and plenty of nearby restaurants, which made getting around very convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a relaxing space after a day of sightseeing. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to rest. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were smooth but one thing that surprised and slightly confused me at first was that the front desk is located on the highest floor rather than the main floor, which is quite uncommon, but it was easy to find once I realized

GGuest UserExcellent location with a surprisingly good view of Mount Fuji. Room small but has all the necessary facilities with lashings of hot water and a smartly designed plumbing system. Very close to Shimizu station and the Fish Market. The Maruko Land, Dream Plaza Complex is a pleasant 15 minute walk away.

GGuest UserI stayed at the hotel with my wife as a stop between Nagoya and Atami. We chose the hotel due to its very close proximity to the train station. We found the hotel room very clean and recently renovated. The utilities, including lighting and water supply, were good. The breakfast was acceptable though we needed to queue for a while. The services offered were indeed good since we managed to retrieve some left fruits in the refrigerator through the help of hotel staff after we have checked out.

MMaki DinhI stayed here for two nights, and the hotel has a very convenient location. It takes about 7 minutes to walk to Shizuoka Station, less than 20 minutes to Sunpujo Park, and around 10 minutes to the Shizuoka Prefectural Office. Convenience stores such as 7-Eleven and Ministop are also just a 5-minute walk away. The hotel has useful facilities, including a coin laundry and an ice maker on the second floor. Breakfast is available, although I didn’t choose the breakfast option when booking. Soundproofing is quite good. I slept well and didn’t hear noise from nearby rooms. Overall, the staff were helpful and professional. Considering the price, I’m very satisfied with my stay and would recommend this hotel. Photos from the window of my room.

GGuest UserYou were so kind. The cafe on the 1st floor is also cozy and delicious, especially the breakfast. They explained everything in English, and I was able to comfortably stay and eat food in the guest lounge. There are many things to do around, and there are pretty villages if you walk a little further.

GGuest UserFree unlimited alcohol at bar after 6 pm is totally beyond expectation. Room is quite big, with large size bathtub and separated toilet. Very quiet from my experience. The room I stayed does not have a window, not sure if it’s the common case. But I’m ok with that. The location should be considered as the major concern. It’s right beside the interchange of highway, so can be ideal for self-driving trips. However, for travelers by public transportation, you’ll have to use the local bus service, it can take quite a while to figure out how.(For anyone who may read this comment: if you depart from Shizuoka JR station, look for bus No.71 or No.27, and get off at Shizuoka IC stop , which is the closest stop from hotel) Generally I do enjoy the stay, and the nearby region has a lot of restaurants as well as convenient stores, will consider to come back if drive by next time.
