"During this trip, I was fortunate enough to choose this hotel as my resting place, and it certainly gave me an unforgettable stay. First of all, the check-in process is extremely convenient. I arrived at the hotel a full two hours ahead of the expected check-in time, but the front desk staff did not the slightest inconvenience or evasion, but in a very warm attitude for me to check in quickly. Secondly, the room itself is large and comfortable to live in, and offers a wide variety of kitchenware and cutlery. All in all, convenient check-in, warm service, comfortable room, a perfect experience beyond expectations!"
"This hotel is recommended by French customers. Although it is a bit old, it is still good overall. I will stay a few more days in Marseille next time. The surrounding attractions are also good choices."
"The hotel is very clean and the location is easy to find. It's a very good stay experience. The attitude of the front desk is very good. Almost every request is met. Hot tea is provided every time you go upstairs. The security is also very good."
"The design of the hotel is visually great and staff was friendly but it's noisy (and I'm usually not sensitive to noise and it even bothered me). Before the rooms on our floor (2nd) is a general door that is super loud when it closes. Then at 9am the fire alarm falsely went off. All not too great when you want relax. The terasse dowmstairs are very nice though."
"Stayed here for 3 nights. The room is clean and quite new. It’s also very spacious for a solo traveller. The location is very close to the metro station and there are bus stops just outside. The hotel is also very close to the beach, restaurants, shops, bars and banks. Staff are friendly and helpful 👍🏻"
"Everything was perfect overall. Just one small personal point (the bed wasn't comfortable enough)."

Great
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is excellent, it is in the Bourse building of the Old Port area and within walking distance to the port area and museums. Service is good, and the front desk staff is friendly and helpful.
NNat 李凤临Cleaning ladies were demonstrating 53 days in front of the hotel when I arrived. The rotating door was covered with mud and confetti, while the black women danced to loud African beats. A complete shock! They continued during my stay… The front desk was super helpful after I contacted their manager. My flight was delayed and I arrived a day late so they managed to modify my reservation without extra payment. My card didn’t work so I gave a cash deposit and they sent me an email when my suitcase that had been delayed arrived (so as not to wake me up). The housekeeping was average- twice they didn’t restock the water. Once they forgot a cleaning chemical. Another time they didn’t restock the decaffeinated capsules. Also they could have been more generous with the toilet paper. It’s the very thin recycled one, that goes fast. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant spacious, with a garden overlooking the marina. The room was large, modern and quiet, with an amazing view of the harbor, including both sunsets and sunrises! I even saw the incredible half an hour long fireworks for Bastille day right under my window! The bed is big and comfortable, pillows a bit too soft, lighting is good but there are no toiletries (which was initially problematic due to the lost luggage). Room service wasn’t available the only night that I wanted to order it - due to Bastille day celebrations. The QR code don’t work on my phone so I had to call the reception to order. Also there was no alcoholic drinks listed, plus I had no fridge in the room, so I couldn’t fully relax and enjoy my holiday. The hotel doesn’t have a spa, which is a shame. So I made a reservation online and got a massage in the Hammam spa a few minutes from the hotel)very expensive and not great). The closest one to the hotel was closed. The pool is gorgeous but in another building which requires another elevator to be taken at the ground floor. A bit of a hassle…The gym is basic but good. Gets pretty busy and dirty at the end of the day. There are many nice restaurants nearby and even a small Proxi shop. There is a bus stop 1min away, that goes to the Terrace du Port. And the taxi conveniently dropped me off right in front of the hotel. The Mucem and Cosquer caves visible from the hotel, are a bit pleasant 25min walk away and the well worth the visit. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay, and would come again if the above issues were resolved.
GGuest UserI come from Hong Kong (China) and stayed for 2 days in late September 2023. The location is a bit away from the old port but still a walkable distance, but beware the neighbourhood is unsafe. Never walk alone at night time. As I travelled alone, I drove back to the hotel every night. The provisions in the room is surprisingly thoughtful. The hotel provides all basic appliances, including a water boiler, hair dryer, tea cup, a small desk, etc, and there are a few hooks, which are very handy and useful. The bed is cosy, and the room temperature is good with the air-conditioner. Speaking of the fridge, it was off and not in use, and there was some bad smell when I opened it. As it turned out, the fridge was just a decoration. The breakfast was fair, bit I can’t complain as it was included in the budgeted price. All in all, I would recommend this hotel. If you are not alone, it’s fine. If you are alone, please don’t go back at night and if you have to, drive!
RRenee Li DEThis Aparthotel is so beautiful! After one night stay I’ve decided to come back here with my family for a holiday next summer. Because Marseille is also over my expectation 😃 Room is cozy and clean. bed is comfortable. Kitchenette is fully equipped. Half moon floor to ceiling window can be opened for fresh sea breeze. Reception is friendly and efficient.
GGuest UserThe biggest advantage is that the train station is very close. The railway station is on a high ground. It is very difficult to pull boxes in the city, such as the Old Port. It is recommended to take a taxi from the subway as it is closer. The whole of Marseille is full of ups and downs. ibis focuses on sound insulation. The sound of other neighbors closing their doors is not as loud as the sound outside the window. The breakfast is quite good for a hotel of this price.
HHassan Eren AliNice building , workers are very friendly. When we first arrived at hotel we thought it was closed but keep pressing the button to ring the reception to open the door for you. Keep in mind bring your own towel or you have to buy one here.
TTogi the Travel addict 113Simply a great hotel for budget travel. Room is warm. Space little. Front desk man is really welcoming helpful and kind. Loved our stay.
DDIAGATI usually go to this hotel, the welcome is friendly, the location is very good at the entrance to Marseille and right next to the port of L'Estaque.
VVivian KempFirst time in Marseille. Fine to have stayed at this apartment but probably won't again.
I had to chase for the access instructions myself. Also annoying to have to go pick up the keys from Ibis (collection itself was quick), which is a 9-minute walk to the apartment. The fob worked but the 2 keys attached did not open any doors. Email instructions, while clear, were not entirely accurate - referring to going right when in fact I needed to find the apartment on the left.
Bit of drama one morning as I forgot my phone inside the apartment and had locked myself out. Had keys on me but the keys couldn't actually open the door, and of course I couldn't remember the super-secure 9-digit digital code! Only eventually managed to get in but asking a neighbour who thankfully was able to call the apartment manager. They should have given me working manual keys but never did.
Apartment itself was very clean. Lots of linen. Comfortable bedding in the bedroom as well as hidden under the sofa bed. Basic toiletries included. Washing machine worked. Heating was plenty sufficient. No dishwasher but not an issue as I did not cook much. (2 induction hob rings right against the wall which I didn't think was conducive to cooking anything more than the super basic, but fine for me this trip.)
Overall it was okay. Location super convenient, but I'd prefer somewhere quieter, where people and traffic noise wouldn't be so loud and go on after hours. Also somewhere without people relieving themselves next to large bins right outside the building's front door. Somewhere more pleasant...
