This place is located minutes from the beach and minutes for the city so it’s a great location. The rooms are very clean and the access is safe and secure. There is free coffee and a microwave on the ground floor.
The only drawback (and it’s huge to a solo traveler booking forward legs of a journey) is that the WiFi is awful ! The connection is good on the ground floor but I was on the third floor and this proved very frustrating.
I was informed that the reception was “poor by the window of the room”. It was poor in every part of the room !
If they get this sorted it would be a full 5 star accommodation ….. it’s really a nice place (Room 301) …

Very close to Zhibentaidong, parking, clean room, self-check-in, not far from eating, I did see the long green tunnel before 🥰
The water in the refrigerator is extra points, Taitung is really hot (some time), there are bicycles, motor vehicles, locomotives, very convenient, very close to McDonald's, aristocratic family 7-11

This accommodation is located on the Taitung coast, about a 15-minute walk from the bus terminal. It's newly renovated, so the overall facilities were clean and there were no major inconveniences. However, the staff left early, limiting check-in times (we requested check-in by 8:30 AM), and the Wi-Fi was unavailable due to the typhoon. While it offers a good price, there are plenty of similarly priced accommodations in the city with similar conditions, so I wouldn't return unless there were no rooms available on the weekend.

The hotel is centrally located and staff was welcoming. The bathroom is on the older side but was clean. The beds are quite hard, but I personally don't mind that, however despite the bed being hard there was a slope/hole in the mattress.

Hotel location is superb. But I personally like the most of this hotel is their buffet breakfast. It’s one of the best breakfast I ever had in taitong hotels given this was my 5th trip to taitung in last 3 years.
The buffet breakfast is well prepared, so many different varieties of food and the staffs provided top notch service to all customers

The owner's management is thoughtful, and the body soap and hand soap provided are very attentive. The breakfast dishes are not many but nutritious and delicious. The decoration of the restaurant has a homey feel. The room is not big, but it is just right for staying in. The mattress and pillows are very good for sleeping!

The location is great, very close to the transit hub, which was super convenient for my solo trip using tourist buses. However, it's a bit far from the train station, and there's no elevator in the building, which could be a hassle if you have luggage.

The room was quite spacious and very clean. The TV was a good size with plenty of channels. The elevator was a great convenience, and with only two rooms per floor, it was surprisingly quiet.
The only minor downside was a slight odor in the bathroom. You'd only notice it while inside the bathroom itself; it didn't permeate into the room even with the door open, so it wasn't a significant issue.
However, getting to this guesthouse from Taitung Train Station took about a ten-minute walk, contrary to what Trip.com's map showed (which depicted it as being right outside the station).
On the plus side, both a 7-Eleven and FamilyMart are just a 5-minute walk from the guesthouse, which was very handy. I'd definitely recommend staying here!

Kkateyang23This hostel is very suitable for backpackers. The room is so comfortable and the price is very affordable. If you travel with friends, the price of the two-person room per one person is almost the same as the room that has 4 single beds for 4 individuals.
The photo is a random photo, but look how comfortable the atmosphere is. I like the tone of the room which is white and earth tone.

The central air conditioning had an unpleasant odor.
The breakfast was excellent, very thoughtfully prepared, and the dining environment was lovely.
Overall, it was acceptable.
It's close to Taitung Bus Station, a 3-minute walk from the hotel, making it convenient for travel and transportation. This trip was great!
The service from the front desk staff could be improved.

GGuest UserPool was under maintenance during the period of stay. Location though at night market was still a distance away from railway station. Taxi fare abt TWD220. There was hotel shuttle service but no clear instructions on how to book in advance. Info not available on trip.com. Concierge staff did not readily offer the service also. Was told only available to members. Not for 3rd party booking. Am disappointed.
Room was spacious. 2 queen size beds. But toilet and bathroom were small. Head will hit the door if I sit at toilet bowl and lean just a bit forward. The bathroom door hits the rain shower head, so if not notice, and open the door with force may break the glass door.
Yellow lights in the room were very dim. Make ambience cozy and classy but very straining to the eyes.
2 out of 3 laundry machines out of order. Laundry powder did not dispense from vending machine. Hv to change coins at lobby when laundry is at 6th floor.
Overall, not quite up to expectations unfortunately.

There are McDonald's, Tiehua Village and Show Tai next to it, and the location is very convenient. I will consider staying here again next time I go on a business trip.

Waking up in the morning to a breath of fresh air, with sunlight gently illuminating the vast green fields and the soothing sounds of birds chirping—it’s an instant moment of relaxation. The guesthouse is impeccably maintained, offering a peaceful and nature-filled retreat, truly a hidden paradise for relaxation.
The highlight of the stay was the coffee machine provided by the guesthouse—offering Starbucks-quality finely ground coffee with an irresistible aroma. Enjoying a freshly brewed cup while gazing at the beautiful scenery outside made every moment of the trip feel worthwhile. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with thoughtful details that showed great hospitality.
If you’re looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in nature, this is undoubtedly the best place to stay in Taitung. I will definitely be coming back next time I visit! 🌿☀️☕

IIrvineMom820Our stay at this hotel was a mixed experience, and overall, I wouldn't consider it worth the cost.
The hotel itself is old, and the facilities feel very dated. While it boasts a large swimming pool and spa areas, they were unusable during our stay as they were running with cold water. We didn’t see anyone using them. The “beauty pool,” which was advertised as having heated water, was disappointing due to a strong sewer-like smell. Additionally, the sauna is not complimentary for hotel guests, which felt unreasonable.
The dining experience was also underwhelming. The à la carte food in the restaurant was below average in quality, the portions were small, and the prices were high. However, the atmosphere was pleasant, though it felt odd being the only customers at 8 p.m. On a brighter note, the breakfast was excellent. I would rate it four stars for its variety of local and aboriginal food, which was a highlight of the stay.
The timing of activities for kids was inconvenient as well. While kids could play pool and ping pong for free in the evening (after we arrived at 7 p.m.), all other activities were scheduled for late morning or early afternoon, after checkout time.
The hotel’s location is another drawback. It is far from restaurants and busy areas, making it necessary to have a car or take a taxi.
The one positive aspect of our stay was the room. We booked the premium family room/suite, which provided separate sleeping areas for parents and kids—a feature we appreciated. However, this came at a premium price, costing 25% more. I had requested a room with a view, and the front desk clerk was accommodating, which I appreciated.
Overall, while the room and breakfast were nice, the rest of the experience didn’t justify the cost or the inconvenience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made to the facilities and services.

SSS玩The boss is very nice and knows what guests need to pay attention to.
The accommodation is the best value for money and is friendly to non-smoking guests. The bathroom appliances are functioning properly and intact. The only drawback is the lack of hooks and countertop space.
There will be shared facilities on the first floor, such as water dispenser, refrigerator, and your own beverage area.
There are massage chairs etc. .

GGuest UserThis is a really cosy place. I really love my room. Clean and modern interior. The only downside might be the location. It's close to the train station. But there isn't much nearby for food. Probably best to rent a scooter to explore Taitung anyway to make your stay more convenient. They are plenty of scooter shops near the train station too.

Yyona vanI had booked a room in the “hostel” section, but it’s actually more of a hotel pretending to also be a hostel. The cleanliness in the room left much to be desired (from what i could see the window sill is clearly never cleaned, hair on the clean sheets, etc.). On top of that, the lockers are fake in the sense that they don’t lock, so they’re basically just cupboards that anyone can open.
As for the bathroom, some of the shower doors are broken and were literally left abandoned inside the shower. What was my surprise to see that there were cockroaches ?? The next day, I came back to the room to take a shower and there was no electricity in the bathroom anymore.
I asked for compensation because the price I paid was completely disproportionate to the state of the facilities. The receptionist was friendly and offered to move me to a private room (in the hotel section), but the problems continued: when I opened the bathroom door, I once again found cockroaches. Moreover, the humidity doesn’t seem to evacuate properly, and there’s a nauseating smell inside. The lock on the door leading from the room to the hallway doesn’t work. The finishing of the construction work is terrible, nothing is right.
In short, my advice is : do not come to this hotel.
