"The biggest public spaces and amenities I have ever seen in hostel level. Shared food kitchen, laundry, and showering room are all in first floor. The location is great with 5-10 minutes walk required to get to downtown Taitung."
"It’s in a strange location right on the edge of town. There are a few good restaurants nearby and a street market on Sundays. The sea view is OK but I’m not sure it’s exactly beautiful along here. It did not help that the skies were grey and the wind fierce. Sad semi-domesticated dogs loiter around here. Sometimes they seem a bit fierce, but often just sad and bored. The rooms are large, and the bed comfortable. It’s fine but I won’t return here or to Taitung to be honest."
"Excellent service and hotel design. Very comfortable and relaxing vibe. The lounge is nice too and can feel that the host did really putting efforts to decorate it."
"The hotel was super clean and new, they have coffee for free and some common areas. The staff in the hotel was amazing and super nice! we got a warm welcome and they helped us with taxi and ferry booking."
"Staffs are very friendly and kind. We booked 5 rooms and all have free upgrade to premium room, appreciate. The room is spacious although the mattress a bit hard type, but overall are good."
"We stayed one night only and missed the night market, but hotel is well located with fruits retailers all away and easily accessible to ferry and train station. Hotel is clean and room size is big, staff services is also kind and helpful. Breakfast is also good with lot of local cuisines available. One of the best choices in local area we reckon."
"The stay was pleasant with spacious rooms and excellent breakfast choices for vegetarians. The sleep quality, the facilities, the view from the hotel was great. I would visit this hotel again."

Outstanding
GGuest UserFantastic hostel, with a really friendly team who are great at giving tips on what to do and eat in the area (even if you are vegan like me!). The hostel is clean and the facilities are modern. It’s located very close to the train station for taking the train or bus to nearby attractions. And for getting into Taitung City you can rent a bike for free from the hostel
GGuest UserThis is a great B&B with new facilities, great scenery outside, friendly staff, and cute cats. I'll definitely stay here again next time I come to Green Island. It's super awesome.
GGuest UserAn Exceptional Stay Beyond Expectations! Waking up in the morning to a breath of fresh air, with sunlight gently illuminating the vast green fields and the soothing sounds of birds chirping—it’s an instant moment of relaxation. The guesthouse is impeccably maintained, offering a peaceful and nature-filled retreat, truly a hidden paradise for relaxation. The highlight of the stay was the coffee machine provided by the guesthouse—offering Starbucks-quality finely ground coffee with an irresistible aroma. Enjoying a freshly brewed cup while gazing at the beautiful scenery outside made every moment of the trip feel worthwhile. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with thoughtful details that showed great hospitality. If you’re looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in nature, this is undoubtedly the best place to stay in Taitung. I will definitely be coming back next time I visit! 🌿☀️☕
GGuest UserExcellent hostel, large rooms above expectations, the room was clean and well-equipped, underwent basic cleaning, received clean towels every day. The hostel staff was courteous and helpful in everything (including ordering food and recommendations for attractions). Located a 10 minutes walk from 7/11 . There is a massage chair in the hostel. Make sure you call the owner before you arrive:)
SsjenskaaWe got a very spacious room for little money, definitely worth it. The hotel is located next to the train tracks but that didn’t bother us at all at night.
