The first room we were assigned had a persistent foul odor. We reported it to the front desk, and they promptly addressed it, but by evening, the smell had returned. We requested a room change, and the front desk was very cooperative. But here's where it gets really bizarre! After switching rooms, the new one had a musty, somewhat smoky smell. It improved slightly after we turned on the air conditioning, and we figured it was still an improvement over the previous room, so we decided to tolerate it. While my son was playing, he suddenly said he saw a child run past. (We've traveled extensively and stayed in countless hotels, including other hotels on subsequent nights, and have *never* encountered anything like this before.) I was absolutely terrified, but I didn't want my reaction to alarm my son, and it was already late, so we decided not to request another room change again. The next morning, when I drew open the curtains, I discovered our room overlooked a hillside covered with graves. I was utterly horrified. We had originally booked for two nights, but I couldn't bring myself to stay another night. So we immediately checked out and left around 8 AM.

The room is clean, the location is very quiet, the breakfast is delicious, the landlord is very friendly, overall the value of the CP is good, we even let us check in 3 and a half hours early, very satisfied 👍

This stay at ”Yuan Mengtian” is really satisfied, the service staff is kind and courteous, people feel very comfortable. There is also breakfast, the overall CP value is really high. After checking out, I found that I forgot to bring my clothes. I didn't expect to take the initiative to call and send it back. It was really intimate. I will definitely stay again next time I have a chance!

The B&B was impeccably clean, and the decor was very tasteful. Our spacious room made for an incredibly comfortable stay and a great night's sleep. The freshly prepared breakfast was both nutritious and absolutely delicious – a definite highlight! And to top it off, there's an adorable resident cat.

Visited in April... The local guesthouse had a very clean and spacious room. The guesthouse entrance was a bit narrow, so drivers need to be very careful with the surrounding traffic. The first room upon entering felt like the reception, so I stopped to inquire. The staff seemed quite relaxed in their work. I had booked the room in advance via an app, specifically choosing this place because it was advertised as pet-friendly. I also called ahead to confirm and made a note in my reservation. However, upon arrival at the front desk, I still had to proactively inform them that I had a pet with me, as they charge a deposit and a pet fee (the deposit is refundable upon check-out). Parking was a free-for-all; cars were parked haphazardly in front of any building where a space was available. It wasn't allocated to your specific room/building. I believe this needs improvement 😮💨. I was staying in one building, but my car ended up parked three or four buildings away, which was really inconvenient for loading and unloading. Then there was breakfast the next day. Online reviews made it sound good, but in reality, it was a tiny space with only a few limited dishes. The coffee and soy milk were incredibly sweet, to the point of being undrinkable. I was very disappointed. What upset me the most was that despite being advertised as a pet-friendly guesthouse, they wouldn't allow my dog into the dining area for breakfast. We were flat-out denied entry. When I tried to discuss it, they claimed it was to avoid disturbing other guests. However, there were only two other guests in the dining room, seated further inside. I suggested we could sit at the table closest to the entrance, in the corner – just a small spot for him to be. But they firmly refused, and I was absolutely furious. If they had informed us of this rule either beforehand or during check-in, I would have understood and we could have taken turns eating breakfast. But we had all come down for breakfast without having eaten yet, and they expected us to just leave our dog outside?! I was utterly enraged. I really hope the guesthouse can clearly state that pets are not allowed in the dining area, or at least specify conditions (e.g., pets must be in a stroller or carrier) for entry. This would help other pet owners avoid such an unpleasant surprise. Ultimately, it was a genuinely clean and spacious accommodation, but the staff's attitude left a very sour taste in my mouth.

This was a last-minute trip. I arrived at 7:30 PM and left early the next morning. I didn't meet the host; I called to pick up my keys and receive instructions. The location is in a neighborhood on a slope, so parking is easy to find in the alley. The neighborhood is very quiet at night. The house is large, and the common area on the first floor is decorated with paintings and artwork. There's no extra furniture, so it's quite simple. It feels like a villa converted into a B&B. The room doors are like those in your own home, but the locks sometimes don't lock securely, so I have to try several times before going to bed to make sure they're locked. The room and bathroom were generally clean. I chose room 202, which has a large bathroom and is perfect for taking a bath in cold weather. The water pressure is decent, and the hot water comes quickly. However, the pillows tend to sag after a long time, so I need to change the angle every time I sleep. For the price, it's generally okay.

簡雅的民宿，闆娘老闆親切，用餐區窗外的景色舒服，餐點簡單但不馬虎，唯一美中不足，可惜住的房型面向風景好的方向是一道牆，不然呆在床上發呆可以看上好一陣子的窗外景色。

My second visit to Zhuo Ye Cottage! Last time, I only came for the delicious vegetarian food, but this time, we decided to stay overnight. I absolutely love the atmosphere here. Breakfast was tasty, and the vegetarian dinner was fantastic – I especially enjoyed the sesame oil monkey head mushroom noodles. The scenery is lovely, and it's a great spot for taking photos. The indigo dyeing DIY activity was also incredibly fun! It created wonderful memories for the whole family ❤️. The hydrangea ice cream was natural, delicious, and very photogenic. All in all, it’s a fantastic place for a holiday. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. The only slight disappointment was a noticeable odor in the restroom. While it wasn't overly unpleasant, it did detract a bit from the overall experience, so it's something to be aware of if you're particular about that. Overall, I'm very satisfied and would definitely visit again.
