GGuest UserThe room was clean and comfortable. This time I stayed in a mountain view room, and the scenery outside the window was excellent, allowing me to enjoy the beauty of the misty mountains. Both the hot pot for dinner and the breakfast were delicious. The location is also very close to the Eryanping Trail.

GGuest UserThe hotel is surrounded by tea plantations, offering fresh air. The rooms are clean and dry. If you want to catch the sunrise, there's a small path about a 20-minute walk away. Breakfast is buffet-style. There are no small shops nearby. In the evening, you can order hot pot from the reception, which is quite good. The shower pressure is strong and the water is hot, making it very comfortable.

TTerry’sThe service attitude was excellent, and the breakfast was abundant and delicious. The environment was clean, private, and quiet, and the staff were all very professional. The National Palace Museum Southern Branch across the street is beautiful, with great scenery, and they offer bicycles and scooters for rent.

배배민도서비스리뷰안씀Going to Alishan -> Where's the Alishan Hotel? -> Why is the hotel so cheap today? Following this stream of consciousness, I planned my trip around that one strangely cheap day for a hotel, which ended up being a trip to Taichung.
There were many reviews, but the location is great, and the view is absolutely fantastic. They even posted the sunrise train schedule for Chaoping Station and the sunrise time in the hotel lobby. There's also a round-trip shuttle to the Alishan Information Center. The hotel room was clean, and they informed me that hot water would be available until midnight, but it was still working fine in the morning.
The air conditioner is a combined heating and cooling unit. If you switch the mode correctly, you'll see a 'heat' indicator. It was a bit chilly that day, but I slept warmly. The hotel room is quite spacious, and the bedding is excellent.
When booking through Trip.com, it states that you need to call to confirm your reservation two days before your stay. I recommend trying to send an email first. It was a difficult time for both the staff member and me... ㅠㅠ Sending an email resolved it very simply. And for some reason, Trip.com also called me separately regarding the reservation. I'm still not sure if they confirmed the reservation on Trip.com's end and notified me, or if they did it because my initial attempt to use Trip.com's internet call failed.
The check-in process was assisted by a male staff member who was very friendly. Thank you!
The hotel has a restaurant, but it's entirely reservation-based. I ate dinner outside, so I reserved for breakfast. It was served neatly and simply. In the morning, the door to the stairs is blocked, so you have to use the elevator.

安安齡One of only two hotels located within Alishan National Scenic Area, it's a bit pricey, but the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast and dinner buffets are excellent, so you don't have to go down the mountain to find food. You can watch the sunset from the observation deck, and they can also arrange a bus trip for sunrise viewing. It's not too far from the Giant Trees Trail or the station. It's definitely worth staying two nights to leisurely enjoy the Alishan experience.

AAnonymous UserSituated just behind the town centre, it's a small boutique hotel amongst the row of hotels in the town centre. The bathroom & room are renovated so it's modern & comfortable. There's an electric blanket which heats up the bed & should be switched off once it's warm. Surprisingly the room doesn't have heating but is well insulated. There's no shower door & bathroom gets abit wet no matter how carefully the spray is kept in. No point warning that the floor gets slippery.

For city dwellers, staying in this rural cottage offers a refreshing return to nature. It's particularly well-suited for solo travelers.
The guesthouse is simple yet far from crude; the owner has put a lot of thoughtful touches into many details, making guests feel right at home.
I'll never forget watching the sunrise from the front yard, with the clouds and mist swirling through the valley.

GGuest UserRoom 210, a six-person room, felt a bit small, almost like it was converted from a two or four-person room. The entryway for six pairs of shoes was quite cramped. The room was next to the elevator, but noise wasn't really an issue. The bathroom was very narrow, and the sink was so small that I almost hit the mirror while washing my face. There was no separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. They provided one pair of plastic slippers and six pairs of paper slippers, but I'd recommend bringing your own for more comfort. The communal restroom was on the first floor, and the water dispenser was on the second. The room itself was clean and odorless, had a TV, but not many power outlets. A small hairdryer was provided. Breakfast was an all-you-can-eat buffet at a restaurant near 7-Eleven, and the cabbage was delicious 😋

YYong DThe hotel's location is within the Alishan scenic area, close to Alishan Railway Station. We stayed on the 3rd floor, and there's no elevator. The facilities are quite old, and the hygiene was poor. There was dust on the windowsill and along the base of the walls, cobwebs on the clothes rack, and a used cotton swab on the coffee table where the phone was placed. It was also very overpriced.

It's also close to the amusement park shuttle bus terminal, the shopping street, and the small train station – the location is absolutely fantastic. The room was a bit small, and the bathroom had a Japanese-style tub. The decor and facilities felt quite old-fashioned. What was unacceptable was that the WiFi on the fifth floor didn't work at all. I could only pick up a signal from the second or third floor, but even then, I couldn't get online. I informed the front desk, but the person who came couldn't fix it either.
