Amazing
GGuest UserThis hotel had the best location for us to visit St. John’s. We loved that we could walk to the pubs, restaurants, and shops without having to worry about parking. We were fortunate to get a harbour view room which made the stay even more exciting. The room was clean and the beds were some of the most comfortable that we’ve ever experienced. I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to St. John’s. What an incredible city.

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay! The customer service was excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean, spacious and had a comfy bed. Both my room and the hotel restaurant offered amazing views. The gym is well equipped with great machines. Highly recommended!

AAmy156The hotel is beautiful. Amazing room and no hassle with check-in and check-out. The room I initially had was on a lower floor and unfortunately I could hear the person above me walking and that was disturbing. The hotel wasted no minutes to move me to an upper room when I reached out to them, so 10/10. The bath, room and bedding were amazing.
Few issues:
1)There is not enough lighting in the room, and at night, it’s difficult if you need to do something and require lights. There are only nightstands, no main light. The windows are small. See picture.
2) For the price I paid, I was expecting a decent breakfast. The breakfast provided was insulting. Cold croissants, chocolate blueberry and lemon muffins, instant oat, hot water, coffee and juice, banana, apple. For the price you pay per night, you will at least expect some hot food. Even one to two-stars motels in Canada provide toast, butter, and eggs. There was not even toast, or milk! You need to use numerous small milk pods to make your oats or coffee, which is a plastic waste. That was disappointing and I understand the hotel wants to save expenses and be more profitable, but I guess it’s business.
3) There is no gym, not even a treadmill.
4) The escalator does not go to the fourth floor, but no big deal.
In saying so, the hotel is located in downtown, where all food places and bars are, so location wise it’s a win.
If you do not have to stay in downtown, and want a hotel with amenities, there are better options in St John’s. One recommendation would be I H G ones.

GGuest UserVery good location could walk everywhere! Asked for quiet room which it was but at tear of hotel overlooking car park and was v v dark! Restaurant and front facing rooms had great view of harbour and surroundings and were still quiet I think?
